What to Know About Adhesive Bandages

This is where we shall cover different bandages and how to use them more efficently.

Different types of bandages:
Ace Bandage: This is a bandage that is a long, flexible, often tan colored, piece of cloth about 3+ inches wide and a couple of feet long. They are used two help restrict the movement of broken, twisted, or sprained body parts in essence. They are wrapped around the injured body part and secured with small hook type pins with a flexible cloth between the hooks.

Butterfly Bandages: This bandage is often small at times, usually no more than an inch and a half, and is usually white in color. It's shape is two even rectangles connected with an thin half inch bar on the small sides of the box in one place. It is used to hold cut skin, or stiched skin together to help it heal more properly.

Goze: This is put over CLEANED cuts and open wounds to absorb the blood, it comes in many forms but has a texture almost at times like cotton balls. These should be changes often.

Medical tape: This is comes in many different sizes and has many uses. One of them being to hold the goze to your skin to form a make shift bandage of your prefered/needed size.
