Crow feet
Rubber chickens
With toupes
Numbers on arms
And bottled air
With printed writing
Speakers that talk
Losing face
All over
Bottled Air?


Enter: my world
Shift: into nothingness
Backspace: all that seems wrong or right
Control: only what is needed
Alter: nothing, it is not for you to change
Insert: your feelings
Delete: as you see fit
Escape: from what?
End: never surrender

Changeling:

They wanted her back
To put in their puddings
Sup from her throat
Catch in the web of their fingers
She tried to speak softly
So they wouldn't find her
Tried to stay
The size of her bones
This made they're thirst grow
Like a castle of salt
Their hunger devouring
Like a castle of teeth
And she couldn't help it
her words spilled onto the pages at night
Like organ peonies
Dead ponies
calling

They wanted her


I am a million miles from yesterday
I am living in a world of tomorrows
Enacting a life of what ifs
I am a million miles from yesterday, but yesteryear is only a second in the future

We are always waiting,
either to get on.
or to get off.
we wait in line,
to catch a chance of freedom
Only to allow the lingering perpertuality
of Ferris Wheels
to begin againf
Striving for significance
but no matter
even if you leap into the car.
or crawl in, slunk in, float in, take in?
you are still climbing the wheel
curiously enacting the role
you unconsciously strive to,
annoy?endanger?abandon.


Duty is an old man in a fur coat who snores softly
Yesterday is a child in the corner
tomorrow is the paint on the walls

if its just a phase, why does it hurt
to lose your friend
to have a monster

Slit my wrists just deep enough to feel

darken the circles under my eyes

scars skin and bones

I look outside
and to my surprise the sky has landed
She sits on her porch

she thinks she can fly
