What's with the Guilds?

This is here to increase your knowledge of Fhaor, the kingdom of Age of Dragons. This all comes straight from the mind of [*Phoenix*], but if you're part of the roleplay and feel something can be tweaked, I'm open for ideas.


Random terms you may need to know what it means
Guild Head: Person who runs the Guild and reports to King of Guild's going-ons

What are Guilds?
Guilds are kinda like clubs. But instead of being "extracurricular" they ARE careers. For example, if you're in the Merchant Guild, you ARE a merchant. If you're in the Assassin's Guild, you ARE an assassin.

How are Guilds set up?
To set up a Guild takes lot of paperwork and also comes with a fee. Once all the paperwork is filled out by the Guild Head and the fee paid, the King/Queen will approve it with his/her seal of approval (literally a seal). Then all the paperwork will be filed and sorted the castle. (Location is only know by the King/Queen and a few choice people for safety purposes.) Once the paperwork is filed, a certificate will be sent to the Guild Head. Then the Guild Head continues to keep up to date on all the paperwork OR he can pass that job onto the Secretary(ies).

Can my character be in a Guild or a head of a Guild?
Yes, but make sure you check with all the other characters to make sure you're not pulling double duty. We wouldn't want two Guild Heads for one Guild.

What kind of Guilds are already made?
Merchants' Guild^*

Assassins' Guild
Thieves' Guild^*

Inventors' Guild
Blacksmiths' Guild

Can I make more Guilds?
Sure, but make sure to let [*Phoenix*] know in case she misses it.
