[My interests...]

I love chess and almost any game that requires thinking hard; I enjoy running and playing with my dog; read a lot of fantasy books and attempt to write poems; I have an almost unquenchable thirst for knowledge and will go to almost any lengths to learn something that I am desperate to know; I love music of any kind, and I am going to be learning the guitar and drums soon hopefully.

WINTER
The cold reaches into the heart,
Destroying all warmth within;
All other thoughts forgot,
Blown away by the wind;
We build houses to trap heat,
And we destroy ourselves through them;
We wait for the summer sun to greet,
And we are lost in wanting him;
To truly deal with this pain,
We must look through the mists;
Seek out the truth that we cast away:
Survival of the fittest!



DEATH
Death devours all,
Nothing left but the echoes,
Of a former life,

NIGHT
The darkness encompasses everything;
Without light we are blinded and vulnerable,
Vulnerable and with nothing left to guide us;
We fall silent and alert, waiting,
Waiting for the sun to bring us light,
Light that brings hope once again;
But until then we wait,
Quietly in the darkness,
The darkness that blackens everything,
Including our hearts
