By Me!

             Love animals...
             Like horses, dogs, and cats.
             There's so many thises
             As well as all the thats...
               I would like to do,
               Much I'm meaning to!
             Within my habitats.
             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             Like to draw and paint,
             Write a poem and a story,
             Just to quench my thirst...
             And not for fame and glory.
               What makes me come alive..
               Is the swelling of a vive...
             Creative category!

             Not big, not small
             Not short, not tall
             Not smart, not dumb
             With all my fingers...
             Including my thumb
             Write a little, draw a lot
             Play some music, write some rhyme
             Uh, gotta go I'm outta time!

"Who Am I?"

             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             To know me, there are things that I must say.
             First, I seek my Lord and Saviour each and every day!
             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             When it comes to love, my heart is filled with such.
             I'm so blessed with family and friends, I love so very much!
             My Mom is the greatest person that I'll ever know.
             My daughter is my greatest gift on me, God did bestow.
             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             When it comes to country, I'm proud of my great land.
             You will find behind her that I will always take a stand.
             Maybe things aren't the best that they can ever be,
             But our forefathers died for us, for you and for me!
             This we must remember through each and every day.
             Not just when disaster strikes do we stand and say...
             I'm proud to be an American, the land of the free.
             The land that God watches over from sea to shining sea.
             I proudly display the Stars and Stripes each and every day,
             Not just on occasion or for some specific holiday!

             There are many sides to me, facets some would say.
             I'm a mother, a daughter, a friend each and every day.
             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             I'm a caregiver to many a homeless pet.
             That needs a place to stay for someone did forget.
             A life to care for is not just a thing to wave.
             Nor a temporary fix for someone's current crave.
             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             An artist that strives for that realistic touch
             To honor the gift that God has blessed me with so much.
             Whether I use a pencil, a pen or a brush,
             I don't do my craft with any amount of rush.
             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             I like to write stories for children everywhere.
             To capture their attention and teach them how to care.
             When I look upon a child's face, I see the wonder of today.
             As well I see tomorrow's promise, we should cherish every day.

             My style of expression in the words I write
             Are of rhythm and rhyme, ah, yes, my heart's delight.
             Free style to me is like a paragraph broken.
             Some prose written down, but scattered, misspoken.

             Then the side of music is a part of my attention.
             I love to play the keyboards, too many songs to mention.

             I think this just about, sums it up, the major part of me,
             As you'll come to realize on the pages you're about to see!!!

"My Creations!"

             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             There are many kinds of creations I do
             Painting, drawing, and poetry, a few.
             Stories for children, some of coloring book sort;
             Greeting cards, pet portraits and more to report.
             With brush, pencil and pen, in mediums I work.
             My focus on detail is not just a quirk.
             Realistic art is mostly what I do
             Just don't ask me for a portrait of you.
             Animals and nature, these I do well.
             Scenery, too. This I must tell.

             I'm Fuzzy-Wuzzy. Yup! That's me!
             Holding yummies for you, you see!
             Here's some root beer nice 'n' cold,
             With this watermelon that I hold!

             I'm Wuzzy-Fuzzy can't you tell?
             I think that you're just swell!
             I, too, have goodies here...

             There are three employees of AOL
             That I want to acknowledge and to tell.
             Their efforts to help me I have to mention.
             Their help's been a great intervention.
             It's because of them that I'm a member here.
             I just want to make this perfectly clear.
             If, seriously, more would take their work this way,
             Then all things with business would be better today.
             So many go to work to punch in their time,
             But few really care about your needs or mine.
             With the names I acknowledge here, I feel secure
             That they are a plus to this company for sure.
             To Donna, Ric, and Nevin, too...
             A great, big 'smile' and a huge 'THANK YOU'!

"How Will I Be Remembered?"

          Gee, I wonder. How would I be remembered in the hearts of folks?
          Would I be a wooden wheel that turned without its spokes?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          Would I be a place where someone would never go?
          Would I flourish daily in hearts, a yes or no?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          Would all my faults be pointed out and focused on the most?
          Or would they tell of other things and raise their glass to toast?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          How would I be thought of by my family and my friends?
          Would my passing be a blessing, a welcomed closing as it ends?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          Who would stand up for me to mention what I'd felt?
          Who'd bother to tell my story about the cards that I'd been dealt?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          Would they speak of me with compassion, and of gifts?
          Or would they speak of my pitfalls and point out all my rifts?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          What would my last impression be that I'd leave upon their heart?
          Would they simply close the lid and relish their new start?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          Would they tell of the love within my heart and soul
          For those that mattered most to me and that giving was my goal?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          Would anyone think to mention how I adored my mother so
          Or to make acknowledgement that my daughter made me glow?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          Will they speak of the love that I felt within my heart
          For Jesus and my Savior? Will they recognize that part?
          - - - - - - - - - - -
          And lastly, would anyone, really, miss me in their lives ahead?
          Or would they simply be relieved of my presence so gone and dead?
