From the Compound: Level One West hallway, the entrance to the Library is through a pair of heavy, ornately carved mahogany-colored doors with antiqued brass hardware, and the same opulent, warm wood-and-metal motif continues throughout the majestic but homey-feeling book room. Off to the right and in the northwest corner of the Compound, the Compound: Archives can be found through another beautiful set of doors. Before one reaches the doors to the Archives, there is a lovely spiral staircase to the second floor and balcony overlooking the ground floor. Comfortable, cushy seats and a few tables are scattered amongst the rows of pristinely-organized bookshelves; on the far western wall of the room, tall windows allow light to filter into the room, lending the room hazy, golden feeling toward the end of the day as the sun is setting.




Why was she doing this to herself again? Silera stared up at the massive room filled with books and almost groaned. It looked so boring but maybe she could find something in here that would help her kill some time until she could hunt down Fulther... Or Ian. Whichever one came first. She picked up the first book she came too and quickly sprawled out on the couch closest to the window. She yawned as she carelessly thumbed through the pages and then tossed it to the ground. She needed something to do or eat. Her stomach reminded her as it seemed to claw at her inside.
