Fantasma is a strategic fantasy civilization wiki. It will consist of several main races, each of which will have a considerable story involved in a campaign with a single goal. Once the goal is complete, then the story shall shift to the perspective of a different race.

Campaign list
First Campaign: War of Children; Bitter civil war has gripped the lands of Hyperborea (Lands of Far North), splitting the once vast nation of Midgard into four separate countries. Each country (Midgard, Asgard, Idavoll, and Vanaheim) is ruled by one of the children of the true king, Marcus Fellrise, now deceased. With no law of Majorat, a feud between Richard, Aurlane, Ortho, and Augustine has arisen for claim to the throne. In the bitter feuding, bandits and orcs have taken much of the land and plundered once safe villages, leaving the majority of the country in ruin and disarray.
Campaign Goals
- Primary: End the Civil War.
- Secondary: Restore Order & Justice (Eliminate all rogues, bandits, and orcs).
- Tertiary:
      Richard: Conquer Midgard 100%.
      Aurlane:
      Ortho: Construct Holo Dim Wall.
      Augustine:
Racial Advantages (Hyperborean Human)
      - Quick training rates, governed by higher experience teaching lesser experience to gain ranks in veterancy.
      - Industrial race; allowing for linking of buildings to increase productivity.
      - Monotheistic religion; with the power spirit of Angels, much of their Magic is based on light and fire.

Ljósálfar (Light Elves)
      - Two Distinct Hero Types: Ranger & Druid.
      - Race bound to nature, using stealth and magic to their advantage.
      - Polythiestic religion surrounding druidic circles.
      - Heavy resource advantages, such as Lumber farming and hamlet tree structures.
      - Higher mobility & stealth with troops. (Including tree-hiding or Field sharking)
Fel Orke (Orc)
      - Two Distinct Hero Types: Chieftain & Shaman.
      - Tribal race, with economy reigning in barter of slaves & animals.
      - Shamanistic religion, valuing the world they now call home to the worlds of hell they had since been in.
      - Populous, but unorganized.
      - Higher attack & health with troops.
      - Fel Frenzy, increases stats when kills are made or nearly allies killed.

More to come...

2004-09-26 [Adaman]: Well I'm back again now, but [Benu] has decided to take a bit of a vacation as well. So I'll be taking care of any newcomer questions and membership details.

2004-09-27 [Adaman]: Only 4 days left to vote for the next Featured Fantasma Character, be sure to contribute.

2004-09-29 [Duredhel]: Bleh.. my party died

2004-09-29 [Adaman]: yeah, basically which was one of the many reasons I considered you for the special party.

2004-09-29 [Duredhel]: lol ^^' boy am i flattered (kiddin)

2004-09-29 [Adaman]: pfft, I said it was one of many, and not really even the primary reason.

2004-09-29 [Duredhel]: Lol ^^ i said i was kidding

2004-09-30 [Adaman]: Alright, not much more to say other than deadline for voting and having characters up in Dance of All Hallows party is Oct. 1st.

2004-09-30 [Like A Rolling Stone.]: I wish i had made a rouge instead of a mancer for one reason...I like that fact that rouges get the skill Inuendo ha ha ha i wish mancers could have that and that, but i picked a mancer becaus ei like magic casting and such..

2004-09-30 [Adaman]: ??? Rogues have the stealth skill... although if you're inquiring they could become a peeping tom then I suppose you are correct. Mancers are good because they are by far the most powerful and damaging magic users, only with elemental magic though.

2004-09-30 [Like A Rolling Stone.]: I understand the rouge has the stealth ability, i meant in Dugeons and draons they featured an Induendo skill, most magic user had it too but it means they can make an atrouse stament seem plausible like i could say (excuse my language) I @#$! sone and it would seem unbelivably true^^ it was fun ha ha

2004-09-30 [Adaman]: Ah, well I'm afraid that isn't available here in Fantasma. Although I'm certain that eventually I'll add something similar to it with the multitude of changes I plan to make.

2004-09-30 [Adaman]: Last day to vote for the Featured Fantasma Character for the month of October. Nominations week will follow for the featured character of the month of November.

2004-09-30 [Like A Rolling Stone.]: ah ok that would fun ahaha

2004-09-30 [Adaman]: depends on the perspective, but anything is fun for somebody somewhere.

2004-10-01 [Like A Rolling Stone.]: yuppers

2004-10-10 [Adaman]: voting for the Featured Fantasma Character for the month of November has begun. Vote for one of the three characters you find most interesting.

2004-10-12 [Adaman]: How about some voters in the Featured Fantasma Character poll?

2004-10-23 [Adaman]: Here let's make this easy for you members, <poll:33962>.

2004-10-23 [Benu]: No... to make it easier... you need to stop making such great characters....

2004-10-23 [Adaman]: How flattering, but I've pretty much made my last character.

2004-10-25 [Saba Nyx]: well right now they are all tied lol

2004-10-25 [Adaman]: lol oops...

2004-10-27 [Adaman]: Update: The Fantasma Grand Tournament is open and ready to take members.

2004-10-28 [Adaman]: Well, today I've decided that the History section will once again be added to the Frontpage of Fantasma. Although it will be far more elaborate than it once was. So, everyone adjust accordingly. It won't happen right away, but eventually it'll be back.

2004-10-31 [Adaman]: Voting for Featured Fantasma Character ends in 2 days, and there is a tie between 3. So please, if you do nothing else here just vote for one of them at the very least.

2004-11-03 [Adaman]: Paetadar won, yay!

2004-11-05 [Adaman]: wow, no one else wants to join in on the Fantasma Grand Tournament?

2004-11-20 [Benu]: Seems as though Tantra will be winning next month...

2004-12-03 [Adaman]: Just as a notice to all members, there will be some major changes to Fantasma. I'm mainly fixing things concerning imbalances in weapons and armor as well as adding new systems to work out bugs as well. Be patient, and I know you may not like all of the changes but most of them are being made to benefit the members. I'll keep everyone posted.

2004-12-03 [Saba Nyx]: We are now accepting nominations for the Featured Fantasma Characters

2004-12-05 [Adaman]: Update: Things have changed, mainly weapons and armor problems that have been addressed. Some of the weaker weapons now do damage that will actually aid their weilder's in defeating their foes, larger weapons have been dropped in overall power slightly, and now some of the weakers armors not actually give some protection which is now added on top of health to make it less confusing to members. In addition to armament changes, there are now differe "attacks" to give characters limited to physical attacks some variety in their fighting, which they so desperately needed. I'll be making some of the necessary changes to all the rule-based areas and hope everyone likes these changes.

2004-12-09 [Adaman]: Only 5 spots remaining in the Fantasma Grand Tournament. Have a character you think has what it takes to be the best? Sign up for the Tournament and see if they can go the distance.

2004-12-10 [Adaman]: Voting for the Featured Fantasma Character has begun, be sure to leave a vote.

2004-12-13 [Adaman]: Update: The How to make a Fantasma Character section is up and running, be sure to check it out and leave comments about what you think about it.

2004-12-18 [Adaman]: Ah hahaha, Coras!

2004-12-19 [Saba Nyx]: Wow!! Love the change looks really great

2004-12-20 [Adaman]: Update: There have been some changes to the Fantasma Attack List in order to keep from the "Stamina draining" in combat that has been coming up recently as quite a bit of a problem for those looking for variety in combat but afraid to use up all their character's stamina. Also, 1 physical attack and 1 weapon attack were added, so check out the link to keep yourself updated.

2004-12-23 [Adaman]: Update: All Races now have information pages. Some, but not all of them have pictures. Although the Fantasma Artists and I will be working on that to fill them in.

2004-12-26 [Orey]: Well!!!!! Guess who's back!! lol

2004-12-26 [Benu]: 'bout time! lol! welcome back!

2004-12-27 [Adaman]: Welcome back [Orey], you were missed.

2004-12-27 [Saba Nyx]: welcome back!

2005-01-02 [Adaman]: Its Nomination Week for Featured Fantasma Character, anyone can nominate. Just a reminder, this is for the month of February

2005-01-02 [Saba Nyx]: ok

2005-01-02 [Adaman]: The Featured Fantasma Character poll is up, the Nominations week turned out to be more like a nominations day, but that's alright I think. The nominations turned out to be pretty good, I hope everyone votes for it. Here's the poll link, even though its listed on the wiki anyway. <poll:40886>

2005-02-01 [Adaman]: Nominations week for the Month of March has begun.

2005-02-01 [Adaman]: Update #2 is going to occur this week. It will be dealing mainly with Magic and Trades, so keep an eye out for new spells, changes on your character if they use magic, and possibly ability changes. There is likely to be a few other new features as well, Thanks for your patience.

2005-02-01 [Black Adder]: ... Where are the Tutorials?

2005-02-01 [I Am Not Here]: whoa lots of talking

2005-02-02 [RaineDagyr]: *huggles daddy* coolness to new update *nod nod*

2005-02-03 [Adaman]: Thanks Nicolita, its still not finished yet though.

2005-02-03 [Benu]: <-- tutor, got questions? Ask me.... I have the sources for answers...

2005-02-10 [Adaman]: The Featured Fantasma Character poll for March is up, only 2 nominations this time. <poll:43951>, check it out, and if you're a member then please vote (outside votes are good too).

2005-02-15 [Adaman]: Update: Part 1 of the combat tutorial, Fantasma Tutorial: Basic Attacks is finished. If you're having trouble understanding combat, this is a good basic standard to learning how to at least gain a basic understanding of the Fantasma combat system. Most tutorials will be added in the future for advanced combat tactics, so keep an eye out.

2005-02-18 [Avalon86]: question....is there a link to guilds anywheres?

2005-02-18 [Adaman]: There won't be until the cities are up and running again, which will be a while. If you want to be informed, watch the Fantasma Nations page, and it will display the zones you'll need to know about.

2005-02-18 [Avalon86]: allright, thank ya much

2005-02-18 [Adaman]: Update: Part 2 of the combat tutorial, Fantasma Tutorial: Physical Attacks is finished. If you're having trouble understanding hand-to-hand combat, this is a good standard to learning how to fight without weapons in the Fantasma combat system. More tutorials will be added in the future for advanced combat tactics, so keep an eye out.

2005-02-21 [Adaman]: The Fantasma Team Tournament is set to begin on March 1st, so anyone who wants to join in had better do so quickly, because once it hits the end of the second week in March, there will be no more teams allowed into the Tournament.

2005-03-07 [Adaman]: Update: Part 3 of the combat tutorial, Fantasma Tutorial: Advanced Attacks is finished. If you're having trouble defeating dangerous opponents with your weaponry, this is a good tutorial to find out other tactics to employ on the larger or simply more deadly or tougher opponents. Use them wisely, because they can make your character vulnerable if overused.

2005-03-09 [Adaman]: Since [Duredhel] has seen fit to advertise for his character, I'm obligated to advertise for Quinn. Vote Quinn in the featured fantasma character poll! (In all actuality, I suggest you just vote fairly).

2005-03-09 [Saba Nyx]: lol you two play fair lol

2005-03-09 [Adaman]: lol I know, but I had to do that at least for show of fairness

2005-03-09 [Saba Nyx]: ok for now lol hmm and shouldnt I be advertising for Quinn she is my character after all lol

2005-03-09 [Duredhel]: Yo, Maistro, there seems to be something foogly with yer Cora Riders up there

2005-03-10 [Adaman]: foogly?

2005-03-10 [Duredhel]: They're ok now, but yesterday night they did not show up for some reason, probably something wrong with the tags at the time.

2005-03-10 [Adaman]: Yeah, they auto-fix. My good litte birdies, lol.

2005-03-10 [Adaman]: Update: The combat tutorial concerning physical and weapon combat is complete. Feel free to leave any unanswered questions in the comments section of the FAQ. The Magical tutorial will be started on shortly, but for now you may enjoy the physical combat tutorial as completed.

2005-03-15 [irulan]: Your wiki banner - did someone from this wiki actually draw it?

2005-03-15 [Adaman]: Yes, It is actual art by me. If you want to see the original you can check my elfwood gallery.

2005-03-16 [irulan]: Okay, thank you! :)

2005-03-16 [Adaman]: Problem: Fantasma needs a big change. As much as I would love to keep the world map it has now, I'm afraid that it must go. Simply put, the world doesn't group the mythology of the world as Fantasma was originally crafted to represent. For now, it will stay, but I am (as this message implies) working on a new world map to replace the older version. Other simplification changes will also occur, along with the new "Guild Trades" which will be class changing but heavily prerequisited and suggested only for intermediate members or higher. If anyone has an idea they think could make Fantasma better, please leave it here in this comment section. Thanks.

2005-03-21 [Leonox]: I have a question, why is everything running so slow? I mean all the parties have basically stopped.

2005-03-21 [Adaman]: That's a question for the members to deal with. Quest Masters can only do so much, which is why I am considering that we only need a few parties since hardly anyone participates daily anymore.

2005-04-12 [Pnelma Tirian]: NOTE:(for all who care) I'm going to be gone for about 24 days in order to catch up on schoolwork because I REALLY need to pass this year. I'll be back around May 6th. Thanks!

2005-04-12 [Adaman]: Okay, look forward to your return Pnelma.

2005-04-12 [Avalon86]: same here

2005-04-16 [RaineDagyr]: *dances around and does the cheerleader thing* Hiya daddy, mommy, Chris, Ryan, Joe, Auntie, etc ^-^

2005-04-16 [Avalon86]: hiya nicole

2005-04-16 [Saba Nyx]: hi baby girl

2005-04-17 [Leonox]: hello little child

2005-04-17 [Saba Nyx]: hey dont call my daughter odd lol

2005-04-17 [Adaman]: Who said she was odd? Anyway, remember... Fantasma related comments only please.

2005-04-19 [Adaman]: Update: The Trades section and Class section are fully, updated. Once everything is updated, all character profiles will be changed. If anyone has suggestions about something that should be changed, please leave a comment here and I'll see if I can do anything about that.

2005-04-28 [Avalon86]: Hi everyone, I am now in Charge of the Featured Fantasma Character voting. If you have any questions just message me.

2005-04-28 [Saba Nyx]: whos me?

2005-04-28 [Avalon86]: you know who me is.

2005-04-29 [Saba Nyx]: ok ok I do lol

2005-05-02 [Avalon86]: Hey everyone, I am now accepting nominations for Featured Fantasma Character.

2005-05-03 [Benu]: nominations go on the FFC comment section....

2005-05-03 [Avalon86]: thank you ash

2005-05-17 [barutha]: my god! do you lot have jobs?

2005-05-17 [Saba Nyx]: actually yes. and this wiki was built over the last year and a half not over night ... although we did pull alot of those for it

2005-05-17 [Adaman]: Personally, I think of Fantasma as a hobbie. Not as work, so getting it like this was really more fun than what I would consider work. Aside from that, yes... the creators do have jobs outside of elftown.

2005-05-17 [Saba Nyx]: agrees with Matt

2005-05-18 [Avalon86]: also agrees

2005-05-18 [Adaman]: FFC Voting in progress. Members should vote if they want to remain active.

2005-05-21 [syagre]: Greetings to you, fellows RPG creators ! Just a small comment here to congrat you for the job you've achieved there... I hope to be able to develop my own business to such extents around here... then, how long have you been working on Fantasma on elftown ? Besides, as I suppose this is an amateur project (with much material not yet displayed around here), have you guys prospected in order to get your RPG published ?

2005-05-22 [Adaman]: Not particularly, since this is mostly my hobbie that has become the hobbie of the other members.

2005-06-02 [Adaman]: Major changes were made to the member list. Most members were removed due to extended periods of inactivity, some were deemed "inactive" for certain reasons. If you have a problem with this, message me and we will work out a solution on how to get you back into Fantasma.

2005-06-24 [Adaman]: Any members that are interested in becoming a pirate in the world of Fantasma, check out Pirates of Fantasma. For the moment, we won't be accepting any more captains, but the existing captains are looking for substantial crew to fill their ships.

2005-06-29 [Avalon86]: *Attention* A new poll has been put up on Fantasma Chat, feel free to vote.

2005-07-03 [Adaman]: Nominations week for Featured Fantasma Character for the month of August 2005. Four days remaining to nominate. Remember that nominated character must have an image.

2005-07-06 [Adaman]: The popular party, Arneas Mercenaries, will be accepting new members soon. It is a desert party, but a few unique character possibilities will work.

2005-07-08 [Adaman]: I'm experimenting with a Fantasma Forum, I'll put it on the frontpage or Fantasma Chat upon completion. So far only certain people are members (Fantasma Crew), if you would like to be a member of the Forum, and have sufficient cause why, then I shall add you. If you do not want to be a part of the Forum and are a part of the Forum, then message me and I will remove you without question. Thanks for understanding, or if you don't understand then thanks for your compliance.

2005-07-11 [Adaman]: FFC Voting for the month of August has commenced. Voting insures that you're participating, so if you're not yet in a party this is a good way to not get kicked out of Fantasma.

2005-07-17 [Adaman]: Update: a change has been made to the way Elemental Magic will be treated. See Fantasma Tutorial: Misc. Information for details. This covers the spell slots and how Victory Points are gained and used. While this update mainly effects those with Elemental Spells, it does keep some characters from having way to many spells.

2005-07-18 [Adaman]: An apology to the members of the following characters Zz'Pzoria, Kamona Aryii, Tantra, Danucrid, & Alexander. These characters have lost some spells due to the new way that Elemental Spells are governed. Since they are all part of my parties, they will be rewared in some way for their sacrifice along in the stories. (P.S.: I feel your pain, Pumpkinhead and Riggenbark lost alot of spells too). The good news is that under these new rulings, characters will be able to learn new spells depending on the locations they are in so any spells lost from this upgrade may be recovered later on. If you have a question about how this works, please note the above link.

2005-07-22 [Adaman]: The Fantasma Forum is now open for suggestions. It was actually finished the day it was made, but no one has left any comments or threads in it so I'm just setting up a link here to prove it is ready. <URL:view_forum.html?forumnr=-1883> As before stated, if you would like to become a member of the Fantasma Forum, please message me with a reason why and I'll set you up.

2005-07-25 [Adaman]: As most of you will have noticed, a change has happened to Squire and Fighter classed characters. The attributes "Defend" and "Counterattack" are now automatic instead of optionally voluntary. The idea of voluntary means was prohibitive so I'm sure you'll all agree with me that it is better as an automatic trait. That aside, I am taking a 7 day break from Fantasma. If you have any questions or problems, please relay them to the crew. [Benu] & [Saba Nyx] have a more direct wire to me, so its best to ask them for the more difficult issues. I'll be spending most of the time relaxing and catching up on some long needed drawing time among other things. I should be back by Aug. 2nd, later...

2005-07-29 [akhirah]: wat an awesome rpg! very well planned out and such...will have to read into this more...XD

2005-07-30 [Saba Nyx]: Thanks! Glad you like it. But alot of the credit goes to [Adaman] the creator of this rp.

2005-08-02 [Adaman]: I have come back. Hello everyone. You may feel free to message me now, but please remember I have much to do so no overdoing the messages. You notorius few know who you are that message me about 5 times a day if allowed.

2005-08-03 [Saba Nyx]: Welcome back Matt!

2005-08-03 [Adaman]: Thanks, I think I should actually start to do things now.

2005-08-03 [Saba Nyx]: aw if you must

2005-08-14 [Adaman]: Many of you may ask, "What changed?" The Fantasma Rules now have more detail. Its still the same as before, only now I can cite it. If you haven't gotten a message about breaking a rule, you're doing alright and don't need to read it.

2005-08-16 [Adaman]: With much consideration, I have decided to take over the Knights of Fellrise party once again. However, there is a character in that party that could be auditioned for, the character is Fantasma Character: Falion Blackwood. Anyone who feels that they can fill that role or would like to join the party with a different character, just send me a message and we'll work something out.

2005-08-25 [Adaman]: Notice: The Fantasma Magic section is going to change... again. However, under the new rulings there will be almost unlimited possibilities for spell combinations and a more direct and simple explanation of the spells. Expect this to take a month or so, especially now that I am attending classes. Hopefully, this new change will allow more power for spellcasters than they previously had, and destroy some "useless" spells or spells with no purpose.

2005-09-04 [Adaman]: Hear ye, Hear ye... the Fantasma Grand Tournament is ready for signups. This sign up time will last for 2 months before the Tournament begins Nov. 1st. As per last year, your character will not be dead to Fantasma if they lose in the tournament. This is just to determine who the "Most Powerful Fantasma Character" is of 2005. If you think you have what it takes, then send me a message and I'll fill you in a spot for the tournament. (Maximum of 3 characters allowed to enter the tournament)

2005-09-05 [Adaman]: Knights of Fellrise is going to have a very long quest with a very dangerous monster, anyone who'd like to join up with this party in the adventure they are about to undertake certainly is allowed to.

2005-09-07 [Adaman]: Signups for the Fantasma Grand Tournament have been going rapidly. In fact, there are only 11 more places left. If you want to take part in the biggest organized battling of this year, then send me a message. (Maximum of 3 Characters per member)

2005-09-08 [dribilie]: i sent a message!!!yay for me!!!

2005-09-08 [Adaman]: In most cases, that's all you need to get information done around Fantasma.

2005-09-08 [Adaman]: Notice: A large solo-play area in Fantasma has been opened to the public. It is the massive trade city, Alexandria. In order to maintain a sense of character navigation, everyone who wishes to enter the city with a character must go to the Alexandria Visitor's Center or talk to [Adaman]. From their your character may seek out employment or visit the many shops open. This grand city has many opportunities for would be explorers, even an urban dungeon that is a sewer. Hope you all enjoy it.

2005-09-12 [Adaman]: Originally I had thought a solo area would take off, since it allows members to make up a character with less limits since they don't need to conform to a party standard. Oh well, Alexandria didn't boom out in its few days, no big problem there. Just letting all the members know there is an option for solo play if you want it, otherwise you're stuck with parties.

2005-09-12 [dribilie]: hmm.....solo....i glanced at it but i didnt really have time to do anything with it

2005-09-13 [Adaman]: Well if anyone feels the need to make a character, but doesn't want to wait for a party to be able to accept them, then head for Alexandria. Its just the first of several cities in the works to be large solo-play areas.

2005-09-23 [Adaman]: Featured Fantasma Character voting is a little late this month, for that I apologize. Feel free to vote in the FFC Voting.

2005-09-24 [Adaman]: Update: Trades are going to go through some changes, same for the attribute arrangement in character profiles. It won't be too invasive, like the magic change, but its something to expect.

2005-09-30 [Adaman]: Update: The main banner had a makeover, its not your imagination. It wasn't cleaned up at all when I first loaded it, and now I just ran it through a photo editor and I think it looks bolder and cleaner. That and it has a much easier URL.

2005-09-30 [Adaman]: Before <img:http://elftown.lysator.liu.se/img/drawing/25232_1088612866.jpg?y=200> After <img:http://elftown.lysator.liu.se/stuff/BahamutBanner.bmp?y=200> Any comments?

2005-09-30 [Avalon86]: me thinks it is more defined

2005-09-30 [Orey]: I liked the older one personally. I think it looked more like a stone carving..... but you can tell more of the new one becaue it is sooooooo defined.

2005-10-03 [dribilie]: i like the new one..you should have a poll....that would settle things

2005-10-03 [Saba Nyx]: good idea go with it Matt lol

2005-10-03 [Pnelma Tirian]: This one I can actually see what it's supposed to be. w00t ness and whatnot.

2005-10-03 [Adaman]: I'll keep both images anyway. Just for the benefit of both people who like either one better than the other.

2005-10-05 [Priest Kel]: I likeses the after

2005-10-05 [Adaman]: Notice: Only 8 more positions available for the Fantasma Grand Tournament. The tournament begins November 1st, no signups will be available after that date.

2005-10-06 [Adaman]: Update: Fantasma Classes now feature a more simplified means of attaining Advanced Classes. While this ultimately limits the number of attributes a character could obtain before, it is a much easier and less time consuming means of upgrading a characters class. Advanced classes are now classes in which a character "hybrids" with another class or even their same class to obtain the skills they want to perfect. Some of the classes are better for some characters than others, but each of them provides an opportunity to make a completely unique character. I hope you all enjoy this new feature. (*Note: Characters with hybrid classes will be altered from this change.)

2005-10-07 [Saba Nyx]: Please dont forget to vote for this month's FFC in FFC Voting members.

2005-10-08 [Adaman]: Certain members have expressed interest in a Quest Master or other Crew position. I have plans for beginning a little lecture wiki about it, in terms of what a Quest Master should know and even a little training area where a QM can go wild with a story. I'll warn you that there are plenty of rules to know, and it will require more dedication. (It's manditory for all existing Quest Masters)

2005-10-18 [3.00 x 10^8 Meters/Second]: I believe I've found a more developed world than cajia, good job!

2005-10-21 [Adaman]: I really don't want to have to fill the empty spots in the Fantasma Grand Tournament with NPCs, so if anyone is a little hesistant about entering, please find it in your heart to enter and not make me add NPCs.

2005-10-21 [Leonox]: very much so please

2005-10-30 [Ŧhe Jøker]: uh.. is this like an RP wiki?

2005-10-30 [Adaman]: Yes, this is a Role-Playing wiki of sorts. However, you don't just have to be interested in role-playing if you want to contribute.

2005-11-01 [Adaman]: The Fantasma Grand Tournament has officially started, there can be no more entries. Maybe next year, all you hopefuls.

2005-11-02 [dribilie]: yay!!!todays the grand tournament...much luck!!!

2005-11-09 [xido]: I'd like to invite all members and this page itself to the Wiki Fantasy Roleplay guild. Please msg me if you are interested, I will ask for character pages if you have them, and the GM of this page should msg me as well. I am highly impressed with the decency and composition of this game and page. I am watching this page, but prefer answers in messages. Thank you.

2005-12-11 [Adaman]: So what does everyone think of those two links there? so far those are the only changes that are completed and advertising. I'd love feedback on it.

2005-12-12 [Adaman]: No one has a suggestion or comment about those supplied links? Wow... I thought of 42 watchers there would be one who surely must have an interest.

2005-12-13 [Gothic Richard]: so far the combat system looks very complex for a begener but If they learn it they will wind up having fun. I just looked at the stats page short and sweet yet detailed. I like the smaller version of the weapons page as well. I like the armor page too. if you write it all read it and see whats wrong.

2005-12-13 [Adaman]: Thanks, I was hoping the weapons would go over well. The stats and the combat system are something that will break in and seperate the mice from men, so to speak. Its complex for a reason, to make members who really understand it to have a firm advantage in battle against other creatures. It still needs tested, and I would like to start out with at least three testers.

2005-12-15 [Priest Kel]: I like them

2005-12-20 [Adaman]: The Combat System has been modified slightly to more easily define the way that combat is handled. There are sections with brief tutorials and even a sample battle near the bottom. If any questions are brought up that are not covered in the tutorial, please place them in the comment section so I can add them to the Combat System F.A.Q., and I would definitely love some feedback on that change.

2005-12-23 [Adaman]: Well, I added a 13th class, but its a secret. Those secrets can only be found in the most dangerous dungeon of Fantasma, Sarvix (not yet unlocked). Of course, that's just where the secrets to it are, not where you get the "Omni" class.

2005-12-26 [Benu]: Bummer.... something I missed again.... I'm starting to hate myself again..... lol....

2005-12-27 [Adaman]: I'm still finishing up racial skills, but for now there can be characters made if the testers are up to it.

2005-12-28 [Priest Kel]: Oooh, yes. Sweetness

2005-12-30 [Adaman]: I'm not as busy as I thought I would be, so I went ahead and added two more testers spots. Grab 'em while you can if you want to be a part of the testing phase.

2006-01-22 [Adaman]: Only 9 days until Fantasma is ready for the public, hurray.

2006-01-25 [Priest Kel]: Coolies

2006-01-31 [Adaman]: Heh, testers dropping like flies. Maybe I should stop pulling the trigger on them. 1 full day left before Fantasma opens, any last minute suggestions?

2006-01-31 [Nyquilz]: um only thing i found was i couldnt rp in the armor shop place cus it was pw protected...other then that i think its good

2006-01-31 [Adaman]: That has been fixed that I am aware of.

2006-03-04 [Aradon Templar]: *sticks page on watch* It looks a bit too time consuming, perhaps, but I'm certainly interested in checking the rest of it out. It looks very well done, so far, Adaman. Heh, I was under the impression that this was open for years, because I had seen various banners and such for them... Just one question: Is that a chocobo on the banner? :D :D

2006-03-04 [Duredhel]: Eek! [Adaman], don't kill him! he's just a kid trapped in the FF wagon! It's not his fault XD

2006-03-04 [Adaman]: Heh, I've been asked that several times. It is not a chocobo, for they have a more eagle-like head. Coras have a more parrot-like head and non-talon feet for running, unlike the chocobo. Subtle differences also include the size of the wing, shape of the neck, and other such things. It's easy to confuse them, and you're not the first to have done so. Even if FF held copyrights to the chocobo design, they do not over evolution and animals that resemble the chocobo & cora have existed in the past so I have no fear over FF trying to sue me over the design. Hope that was informative enough.

2006-03-04 [Aradon Templar]: Heh, sorry, didn't realize it was one of those over-asked things. I haven't read through the history much, because I was in a bit of a hurry this morning when I commented. And for the record, I'm not helplessly addicted to the 'FF wagon' etc. Broader mind than that. For the record. Did the issue of sueing come up in the past, or something? o.O

2006-03-04 [Adaman]: No, but with the amount of Chocobo comments made, I had to prepare.

2006-03-04 [Aradon Templar]: I doubt Square-Enix would sue over the usage of chocobos in a non-profit game anyways. Meh, you have to admit, it looks remarkable like a chocobo :P In any case, I'm slowly wading through the pages, and I'm considering making a character, though it'll have to be once all the judging and stuff is over. Seems time consuming, and I've only scratched the surfaces of some of it.

2006-03-05 [Adaman]: Its not too difficult, so long as you create a character around Class, Race, & Trade. Its not as strict for weaponry, since there is a large list for that and its versatile. Fantasma is slow recently, but there are still areas that can be active so long as you make the effort to keep track of your character. Otherwise, there is a successful pirate party that you could join if so inclined.

2006-03-05 [Aradon Templar]: Hmm. Difficulty isn't worrying me, really. It seems like you've got a lengthy tutorial for the fighting bit, which seems to be the most complex bit. Once I read that, I'll be fine. It's just that I'm not one for multitasking, and I'm already playing Bethlem; two RP's may be too much for me, if I want to keep a life outside ET too. So I'll probably design a character sometime soon, but not submit it for a while. And then I'll probably solo for a bit to get the hang of it before joining/starting a group. I'll probably have more questions as I read further (not too much left), but for now just this: are stores run by both NPC's and merchant players?

2006-03-05 [Adaman]: Typically that is the case. NPCs fill in to make the pirate party less empty and more like a full crewed ship. While parties are at a minimum, there are plans to make a merchant player for a party. There is only one solo area so far, which is a medieval european setting. The combat tutorial just explains all that can be done in battle. You can learn the techniques on the way, but a skim should let you get through your first fight with little trouble.

2006-03-24 [Adaman]: The classes are going to change a little, and there is going to be a large list of skills to select from for the skill points. Trades might disappear entirely, but it won't effect many characters since most of those skills will be obtainable through training with tradesman in cities. The difference will allow a more steady progression for skills instead of the big leap to advancement. I doubt there will be many complaints, but its something that everyone should not be surprised about. Races will change only in stats and default skills. It won't be anything that will cause too much alarm. I'm still deciding whether or not skills can be "leveled up" from their defaults. Magic may also change.

2006-04-30 [Rainbow Dragonflies]: ((Not to intrude on all of these giant paragraphs of conversation, buut, I was just wondering if there was any /guy/ -or anyone willing to play a guy character- willing to join Breed of a Killer we are in desperate need of another guy -to make it even- and we can't seem to find a suitable person DX seems all of you here are seemingly literate people o_o if you could, please, take a look o______o; Greatly appreciate it.))

2006-04-30 [Adaman]: Wow, that's incredibly rude to intrude upon a wiki that is not yours or a friend of yours and then advertise your own without means of equivalency. I should probably just delete your comment, but its more fitting to have everyone read it for themselves and see just how poorly you thought it out without even asking the wiki's author.

2006-04-30 [Blood Raven]: doesn't seem like an interesting wiki either ^^" but that's just me :P

2006-06-26 [dribilie]: hmm...rude, i have to give you that, and boring...yup you get that too...some people just dont get it tho

2006-06-27 [Priest Kel]: The concept of the wiki just seems rather boring and stupid

2006-06-27 [dribilie]: its like a real life almost...i always thought RPG's were supposed to be fantasy based, the whole point in my opinion is to escape reality and be someone else for a change...so what would be the point of making a reality based one??

2006-06-27 [Priest Kel]: Don't know

2006-06-27 [dribilie]: me either that was my point

2006-06-27 [Priest Kel]: Exactly

2006-06-27 [dribilie]: glad im not the only one to see the point i was trying to make...that makes my night

2006-06-27 [Priest Kel]: The whole concept behind that wiki seemed rather pointless and stupid though. "Everybody is normal except for me!!! Fear me and my homicidal tendencies!" It's like they all wish to be homicidal maniacs but won't do it for real so they do it in a wiki

2006-06-27 [Adaman]: Real Life role-playing is not uncommon, though usually they are more interesting and involve some sort of mystery. The one's that are worth a damn usually involve something extraordinary. There is one looming around called Bethlam which is about an insane asylum which seems to me to be well done, though it's far removed from everyday life. Everyone has some judgement to what makes quality entertainment, and I'm not trying to bad mouth little RPs either. Fantasma was once little, and took nearly 2 years to get to this point. Which I'm the first to say, it still needs alot of work. Anyone interested in becoming more deeply involved with Fantasma? I have plenty to be done around here, heh.

2006-06-27 [dribilie]: hmm im happy to help out...and yeah i stumbled across Bethlam and it was pretty nice. but im in high school, and people do bring guns to my school. we had shootings at senior prom last year, and at basketball games, and where ever else the low lifes can find large crowds of people to shoot at. so to me the whole murder scene in a school isnt RPG worthy seeing as how its going to happen to our school soon.

2006-06-27 [Adaman]: Murder by modern means is, for lack of a better word, pathetic. The sad thing is that teenagers are the most likely to murder because the brain doesn't mature beyond the most primitive emotions until the age of twenty or so, and even then there are some that do no mature to that level at all. Anyone who wants to RP as a modern murderer is boring, since there is little creativity in it. Of course death is a part of life, and always will be even if the age barrier is broken down. There is no such thing as a 100% guarrantee for survival, and I supremely doubt that there ever will be since throughout the ages every armor has been beaten by a better weapon. Really off topic, heh.

2006-06-28 [dribilie]: good point, i think that people wasting an RPG on something that happens in everyday life is a waste, why not make something up instead of copying serial killers. how boring and ordinary. in my opinion, i wouldnt want to live forever(random tangent i know)

2006-06-28 [Adaman]: It depends on your personality if you want to live forever or not. Since most humans are social creatures, immortality would be a curse without someone to share it with. Then again, immortality in mortal flesh might be the cause of your aversion to becoming immortal. If you were capable of changing your form, immortality might be more fun since you could interact with life anywhere potentially. Making something up for an RP might be okay, but remember that much of what you know in terms of Fantasy is not made up but the actual beliefs of humans long before us. There are very few creatures, races, and other such things that are completely unique and made up.

2006-06-28 [dribilie]: true, all good points. i wouldnt want to spend forever alone. that would be horrible.

2006-07-02 [Adaman]: I'm working on classes and other things in Fantasma. Don't freak out, the changes are good I promise you.

2006-07-08 [Adaman]: New city unlocked, Fantasma City of Hoddmimir.

2006-07-08 [Priest Kel]: Yay!

2006-07-10 [dribilie]: oh....something new to explore??fun fun
