Final Fantasy 7, i gotta give that game credit where its due! that game is the only rpg i play! i loveed it soo much...KH 2..the 3 or so hours of pointless Roxas was what made me give it up and i have never played drakenguard yet

2006-08-15 [Faulty Limerence]: Actually...both Drakengard's are fairly weak in the story department. And Armored Core, while a fun game is nowhere near a leader when it comes to RPG's. It's just not. I mean...it's a fun mech game, but it's not as good as Steel Batallion.

2006-08-15 [Faulty Limerence]: First of all, it had nothing to do with DDR. Just another rhythem game. And Disney forced them to have Atlantis so that they could make sure they got some little mermaid advertising in there. Personally, I think that Kingdom Hearts could have been a much better series without Disney butting in and diluting the story so much.

2006-08-15 [Faulty Limerence]: No it would not have been. It had aroudn three different things to do at the most and they were only MILDLY in rhythem with the songs. It was a rhythem game. That doesn't make it like DDR. I'm so tired of people saying that things are just like DDR just because they're rhythem games. Anyway, Disnery didn't really add anything to the second game's core story. THe only thing that Disney did was add places that you could go and complete little mini storylines that had NOTHING to do with the core plot, and were really just a way that they used to try to revive old Disney movies. Maybe Disney could be a little successful if they'd go back to thinking up some original concepts. I'm sorry, but I can't attribute any of the games success to Disney. They had nothing to do with the games except liscensing character rights and bullying Square into sacrificing plot for cameos.

2006-08-15 [Faulty Limerence]: Yes. You're right there. THe second one was much too straightforward for me. All of the exploration elements that made the first one so great were completely omitted. However, the second one was still a great deal of fun for me, as far as game mechanics and play go.

2006-08-15 [Iron-Man-429]: I hated fighting on that flying ship thing when you fight that stupid giant nobody thing. That was one of the dullest fights in the game and the stupid summons were worse in this one than they were in the first.

2006-08-15 [Faulty Limerence]: Yeah, like I said, the summons in this one were just stupid add-ons that disney insisted on. Plus the fact that you couldn't set the camera to the unused shoulder buttons, and use the right analog stick for the combat menu really got on my nerves. You could only do one or the other.

2006-08-15 [Faulty Limerence]: Oh, I misread you. And for the record, the story was NOT that great. I mean...you never find out a lot of the under-plot to the main story. It was good for a shooter, but not great. The graphics were definitely good. Again, not top-tier, but close. And it was pretty damned fun, especially once you get the Chicago Typewriter. But again, Both games do their respective jobs well, and can't really be compared to eachother. If I'm in the mood for a zombie hunt, I'll take RE4, a nice, semi-serious adventure-RPG, I'll take KH2.

2006-09-08 [The Coffee-Prophet]: Tales and SSMB are probably the cubes greatest moments, much of the rest is so-so. Wind waker wasn't so bad either, but after two or three playthroughs it isn't much left to do.

2006-09-09 [Iron-Man-429]: I think each console have their ups and downs. Xbox's good point is their wonderful online, but their downside is the lack of games. The PS2's good point is its great list of games, but its downside is that there is a lack of any really great mustiplayer games and its online. The gamecube's good point is it had some great games and superb graphics, but for some reason Nintendo made it look too much like a toy so few hard core gamers ever got into it with the gamecube.

2006-09-10 [Faulty Limerence]: I find the downfall of Nintendo to be in their lack of originality, and the originality that they do exhibit rarely has any real staying power.

2006-09-10 [Faulty Limerence]: I didn't like any of the sonic games on the gamecube, but Double Dash is still a lot of fun. One of Nintendo's big mistakes was alienating a lot of third party developers.

anywho, as far as consoles go, i'm a Playstation fan for 2 reasons.

1: great line of RPGs (FF especially)
2: I own four of them >.> <.<...

Smash Bro's was one of the few good games i've seen for the cube and the box was mostly just a shooter system as far as i'm concerned. Nothing against shooters, but I can only take so many before i'm driven insane.

Obviously favorite game for PS2: Kingdom Hearts 2.
