2011-05-20 [Duredhel]: Veltz - Go nuts, mate ;3. Not sure how you'd create the tables on the wikispaces with search and replace, tho >,<
Roms - Hit me up on msn :>
2011-05-20 [Duredhel]: By the way, still no ideas for a sixth?
2011-05-20 [Veltzeh]: Okay, after looking it over, I can do this pretty easily with automatic tools. It works best if I can just do everything at the same time, so which ones still need doing? Also, where are the Damage, Size, Handling, Critical Range, Special bits, or will those be added later?
2011-05-20 [Duredhel]: Bows, Claws, Firearms, Exotic Weapons, Firearms, Armor and Helmets still need doing. And yeah, all those will be added later.
2011-05-20 [Veltzeh]: Righty!
2011-05-20 [Veltzeh]: It's done now. :)
2011-05-21 [Duredhel]: Alright guys. Weapon system is in place (I just need to fill in some stuff) But it's safe to say we're resuming this effective immediately. I think Ixie gets to post in the first setting and I in the second. If you characters were left hanging, lemme know. I'm also giving all of you an extra 200 GP, so go nuts. Imagine Majikseb's char was never there, and I'm counting on Veltz to edit him out of exitence ;3. (Btw, weapons and armor are in the wikispaces as usual)
GO!
2011-05-21 [Duredhel]: Roms, wanna sell Az' old bow as part of the payment on the new one?
2011-05-21 [Roma]: Ooooh, yes please.
2011-05-21 [Duredhel]: We have a map now ;D
2011-05-21 [Ms. Steel]: It is beautimous.
2011-05-22 [Duredhel]: Redid the accessories guys, it's on the wikispaces.
2011-05-23 [Veltzeh]: Ooh.
I separated Az'rim's new endeavour so that I could have Chese move into the smithy's.
What kind of worker works chitin, by the way?
2011-05-23 [Roma]: Post poke, double style Ix & Lep XD
2011-05-23 [Ms. Steel]: It's coming, it's coming!!
2011-05-23 [Duredhel]: Ok so we have Virgil on Setting 1
Chese on Setting 3
and Az'rim, Padma and Je'retiel on Setting 4
2011-05-23 [Veltzeh]: Dur, are you sure Chese can't use a steel hat, for one? It's on the helmet page and listed as light. Also I can't see any penalties for using heavy stuff if their stats don't specifically say so. :P Am I missing something or what?
2011-05-23 [Duredhel]: Craaap, my bad. Metal stuff is supposed to have a dex penalty. I'll go fix ;3
(See, this is why we need playtesting ;3)
She can use it tho, it's just that, if you ask for a light hat, people aren't gonna recommend something metallic XD
2011-05-23 [Veltzeh]: Oh, okay. Steel armet, heavy, 0 DEX... :D
2011-05-23 [Duredhel]: Got it.
2011-05-23 [Veltzeh]: Also I just noticed that chitin hat and cap seem to have a backwards price development.
2011-05-23 [Roma]: Question: since the spell component belt is more expensive, it's more powerful that the silk robes? I dunno what the 10% MAG means for the silk robes (10% what?)
2011-05-23 [Duredhel]: Silk robes are +10% MP. Means if you have 10 MP, you get 11, if you have 20, you get 22, and so on.
2011-05-23 [Ms. Steel]: Decisions, decisions.
2011-05-23 [Duredhel]: Lemme know if, at any point, you guys just want to do your shopping via comments so we can move on :>
2011-05-23 [Ms. Steel]: The decision has been made, but I will have to post later tonight. Dinner then practice. Arg.
2011-05-23 [Roma]: I'll be adding leather gloves (I'd like the black leather ones, but I dunno about the man's selection) and a makeup kit.
2011-05-24 [Duredhel]: Yeah, Black Leather is not common, unfortunately. I'll add the gloves and makeup and deduct your moneys, then ;3
2011-05-24 [Ms. Steel]: Sooo, we can just do the weapon purchase down here instead to expedite things?
2011-05-24 [Roma]: Yup! Name the material and type and you'll be set.
2011-05-24 [Lepellier]: I think I'll just go with 4 regular healing potions.
2011-05-24 [Duredhel]: Gotcha.
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: I'm looking at you, steel bracers.
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Chese will get a fur cap. It is stat-wise identical to leather cap but is 4 gp cheaper and resists cold. :3 Or does it have a downside? Catches on fire easily?
2011-05-24 [Duredhel]: You need to find fur :>
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Ooookay... could you put down somewhere which materials are rare and which aren't, and if it depends on the size of the city, something about that too?
2011-05-24 [Duredhel]: basically anything but cloth, wood, leather, linen, bronze, iron and steel is rare. You can still find them in a city, but you have to actively look for them and shops have limited stock. So for example, Az's jeweled belt was the only one that store carried.
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: One leather cap then! :o (Which is identical to a bronze hat, it seems.)
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Ommm.
2011-05-24 [Roma]: :O Vel, you rock.
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Also with more shading. :)
2011-05-24 [Lepellier]: That, my friend, is awesome!
2011-05-24 [Ms. Steel]: Aw, you beat me to it. Very nice!
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Thanks!
[Ms. Steel], you can still make your own version, it'd be great to see them in a different style too. :D Then we can try pressuring Dur into it too and have three kinds of versions!
2011-05-24 [Ms. Steel]: Oh, they've all been drawn and are in various stages of getting painted. I just gotta... dig 'em out and finish them. heh heh.
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Oooh. :3 That reminds me, maybe I should add some colour too.
2011-05-24 [Flisky]: *waves*
2011-05-24 [Lepellier]: Hiya Flisky! :D
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Yay!
2011-05-24 [Ms. Steel]: woo-hoo!
2011-05-24 [Ms. Steel]: Oh, and my weapon purchase: I would like for Jer to sell/trade his sling and purchase a steel whip. Please and thank you? :-D
2011-05-24 [Flisky]: I screwed up Veltz's pretty party picture. :(
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Also, Chese wants a ruby and a diamond. What does a gem do in the bracers or any accessory? How many gems can be grafted on weapons and armour?
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: [Flisky]: haha, watch me draw an extension to it! X) Hmm... if I had a webcam and a livestream thingy, you could literally watch me draw it, but now you'll have to settle for the result which may be coming at some point. :P
2011-05-24 [Flisky]: That would be pretty cool to watch you draw it.
2011-05-24 [Duredhel]: Gems you need to locate via RPing :O, they're not fully common either. I'm probably gonna redo all the gem effects, so don't worry about that.
Helmets can graft 1 Gem. Weapons and Shields, it depends on the size, armor can always graft 3. You can't graft them on non-metals unless indicated otherwise (for example, some non-metal accessories) except wood.
Also, Ixie, gotcha ;3. Let's try to wrap up buying soon so you can go on an adventure guys, feels like you've been in the market forever XD
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: Seamlessly.
(Also, I'm totally not very good at drawing human-animal hybrids. >_>)
2011-05-24 [Flisky]: He looks pretty good to me. :)
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: I forgot the damned tail. XD Oh well, Let's just say it's behind his leg. Cough.
2011-05-24 [Flisky]: *shifty eyes* I think we can...live with that.
2011-05-24 [Veltzeh]: I'm locating gems via RPing! Also, I figure Chese could use a regular healing potion since the money is there.
2011-05-24 [Duredhel]: Potion for Chese, gotcha.
2011-05-25 [Roma]: Gonna roll a spot check to see if Az notices Finneun.
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: Done!
2011-05-25 [Lepellier]: You want me o RP in Virgil buying his potions, or are we otherwise just going to go ahead so we can get out of town?
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: Just go ahead. He still needs to meet the others, tho ;3
2011-05-25 [Veltzeh]: The necklaces and pendants seem to have some overlap. Is the tiny/small size difference so important that they ought to be separate? Also I suspect the gold pendant's Graft value should be 2, right?
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: Nupe. All pendands have a graft value of 1. Cuz.. you know.. they're pendants.
2011-05-25 [Veltzeh]: Some of them have 0, though. And now otherwise identical pendants (gold and silver) have no other difference except price...
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: Sorry, meant to say a 1 maximum. And the only really identical one is silver. Which is ok, maybe a character doesn't want a necklake, maybe he wants a pendant.
Remember that no one likes min-maxing in a roleplaying game, your char is not supposed to be aware of stats and stuff.
2011-05-25 [Veltzeh]: I know plenty of people who like min-maxing in an RPG. :P
What is the character supposed to be aware of, then? How should the character make the decisions on what equipment to buy?
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: They aren't very good then ;3. Nothing wrong with making a good build but if you're into min-maxing, you're better off with WoW than D&D. It's too much emphasis in Game and too little in Role for my taste.
For example, I'd rather have my character wear a set of equipment that is themed and cohesive rather than a mismatching mix of crap just because it gives him the best stats. The character should make decisions like a person makes decisions, it depends on the character.
2011-05-25 [Veltzeh]: While I agree that I don't usually enjoy playing with the min-maxers, it's just because either their playing style conflicts with mine or their characters are ridiculously overpowered compared to mine because I'm not that good at optimising. :P Many of them are actually good role-players. However, I suspect a bit that the min-maxers' characters' stats and equipment have nothing to do with how they play the characters, though, and that I think isn't good.
I'm not very good at making good builds because there's too many things to consider, so I just build that character as seems good with a gut feeling. However, the items are very easy to look over stat-wise, so I more often pick the best ones from the items (and base the decision on that of course the character would take the best stuff too).
Anyway, if you're concerned with players picking a mismatching set of stuff, maybe there could be a stat bonus if the characters are wearing matching pieces? That would be neat, actually. :o Or then the different pieces could just have the same stats and the material would be mostly for fluff. Having different stats does encourage people to just pick the best ones with no regard to how ridiculous their characters look.
And speaking of a character who'd wear a horrible mismatch of odd equipment... My regular RPG group had a discussion about what kind of insane nut takes up adventuring in the first place. It was especially heated after an unusually one-sided battle where our main fighter just kept smashing an enemy (who had DR and so the others weren't too much use) that kept battering the fighter with a ton of damage and our cleric kept healing the fighter right away. And we couldn't help but wonder how a person can stand the continuous damaging and healing and go on to experience being killed and resurrected repeatedly. We came to the conclusion that all adventurers have serious mental issues.
Oops, massive comment. Well, it's in topic!
2011-05-25 [Flisky]: Should I post now or wait for Ixel?
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: Go ahead and post, I say ;3
2011-05-25 [Flisky]: Okay.
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: So silver pendant for Chese, Veltz :> (btw, fixed the gold pendant/neckla
2011-05-25 [Ms. Steel]: I posteded.
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: Yay! good ixie :>
2011-05-25 [Roma]: who's turn is it now? ._.
2011-05-25 [Flisky]: Virgil? Padma?
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: Just keep the conversation going, guys ;3. I imagine order is not that important right now unless someone does something that would warrant everyone to react.
2011-05-25 [Veltzeh]: Yup, silver pendant! Except wait, can I have Chese haggle? :o
2011-05-25 [Duredhel]: mhm, yep. Or try to ;3
2011-05-26 [Veltzeh]: Or maybe I won't, since they're kind of in a hurry now, apparently. :P
2011-05-26 [Veltzeh]: Behold! Pre-emptive haggling.
2011-05-26 [Veltzeh]: Chese's steel bracers need some steel boots to complement the set. :D
2011-05-26 [Duredhel]: Ok guys, if no one has any objections, you'll be on your way. I'm guessing you wanna head back to the wooded area where the exhorian hive was? Anything you wanna specify about the trip? Any of you leading? You wanna RP it or just fast travel there?
2011-05-26 [Lepellier]: I figure we may want to have everyone get to know Finn somehow, but I have no objections to fast travel, and we can kinda skip the introductions and just figure everyone at least has his name when we arrive.
2011-05-26 [Flisky]: He'll tell them his name, what he is doing traveling, and his condition of traveling with them until his pay that he lost the year Az screwed him over is made up again.
2011-05-27 [Ms. Steel]: I have no objections and agree with the above.
2011-05-27 [Duredhel]: Roms? Everything Kosher?
2011-05-27 [Roma]: OH! Yah, everything is hunky dory. :3 Let's go!
I also kinda figured Az would try to lead since dusk is setting and she can see in the dark (and track, etc). And I am in favor of RPing the journey. We just got a new player, let's really figure how they all mesh.
2011-05-27 [Lepellier]: Guys....Just had something slip my mind. I'm going to be away from civilization for the next 3 or 4 days and won't be able to post. If someone would like to take over Virgil for a short while, please do. I should be back Monday evening at some point.
2011-05-29 [Veltzeh]: Are we now assuming that Finneun told his name and the other stuff, or not?
2011-05-29 [Duredhel]: I imagine they've been walking some 20 minutes from the Market to the gates, so yeah, plenty of time for Finneun to tell his name.
2011-05-30 [Roma]: I dunno if it was my "turn," but someone had to do something.
2011-05-30 [Duredhel]: Yeah I was hoping Lep would log in. But he can catch up later ;3 let's just keep going.
2011-05-30 [Veltzeh]: In this situation it's easy to just assume he's walking around with them and being deep in thought about the mysteries of life. ;)
2011-05-30 [Duredhel]: I'll give a cookie to Lep if he starts his post with "Virgil walked around with them, deep in thought about the mysteries of life."
2011-05-31 [Lepellier]: Cooooooookie!
2011-05-31 [Roma]: You know... cookies don't mail well. Especially from 3rd world countries like Peru. XP
2011-05-31 [Lepellier]: Yeah...And I try to keep the cookies cleaned out of my computer, so that doesn't seem very viable either... hmmmmmm...
2011-05-31 [Duredhel]: Man, I keep wanting to bring Lilee back XD.
2011-05-31 [Veltzeh]: Come on Dur, the genitive of "it" is "its".
2011-05-31 [Duredhel]: Erm :> Veltz. Az'rim and Chese went exploring PAST Kussul Farms. As it is, they're not even at Kussul farms yet (they're halway there), so I don't really know what Chese is trying to spot.
2011-06-01 [Veltzeh]: Well, not then. The lay of the land was confusing without the map.
2011-06-02 [Veltzeh]: No need to wait for Chese at the moment.
2011-06-02 [Duredhel]: Yeah, guys, don't worry too much about the order and waiting on people unless we're in combat, we're all knowledgeable RPers, we can know when to stop and wait for someone for a bit ;3
2011-06-02 [Ms. Steel]: Okeeee doke!
2011-06-04 [Veltzeh]: Are we sure that the characters don't know that Padma can't heal anymore, or am I just missing something? It's been bothering me for a bit. X)
2011-06-04 [Duredhel]: :/
Backpack
Lesser Healing Potion x 4 (2 Wgt)
Healing Potion x 2 (2 Wgt)
Magic Potion x 2 (2 Wgt)
2011-06-05 [Veltzeh]: Okay, potion automat it is. :P
2011-06-06 [Duredhel]: I'll post in a bit guys. Compy died and had to reinstall windows XD, needless to say, it's gonna be a busy day.
2011-06-08 [Duredhel]: ... you guys can post, by the way >>
2011-06-08 [Veltzeh]: I'm having some kind of writer's block. D:
2011-06-08 [Duredhel]: Well right now you just need to sneak over to the exhorian nest undetected, if possible. :>
2011-06-08 [Veltzeh]: Excuse me while I metagame, but weren't they supposed to not go right next to it?
2011-06-08 [Duredhel]: Well, I don't mean standing on top of it with their heads down the shaft and their butts pointing to the sky, Veltz. :/ I mean until you can at least see it or whatever other measure of distance your characters deem safe.
2011-06-09 [Duredhel]: Remember that the results for RoL will mostly be given privately, so there's no need to wait for a GM post after someone does a roll, like (listen) or (move silently).
2011-06-09 [Veltzeh]: Oh? But it used to be that they're publicly posted unless there's a "p" (for private) in the skill check. Was there some reason to change it or is it something you're testing?
2011-06-09 [Duredhel]: thought it'd be more interesting. Unless it's something which has a result everyone could clearly see (move silently, for example), they'll all be private.
2011-06-09 [Duredhel]: Sorry I moved your post to the end, Lep, I missed it when you originally made it XD, my bad. It just made more sense moving it to last.
2011-06-09 [Veltzeh]: Should I then move Chese's post after Virgil's? Since she pretty much reacts to him...
2011-06-09 [Duredhel]: ohu, yes, please do so.
2011-06-09 [Veltzeh]: I gone and done it! X)
2011-06-09 [Lepellier]: Not a problem, Dur. :D
2011-06-09 [Flisky]: Won't let me post normally on my DSi. If someone could post this:
"That way," Finneun said quietly, pointing towards a visable clearing. He looked towards Az, waiting for the hunter to take point. Or for the magic user to attack. There was no way Finn was going first. This may be their friend, but he did not know her at all, and he was not about to run into the hive first.
2011-06-09 [Veltzeh]: No one noticed Chese's offer to help or the other stuff she said? Or is the point completely moot due to helping not being possible in the game's mechanics? Or did I fail at writing stuff people could reply to? :P
2011-06-09 [Flisky]: Finn is mostly ignoring individuals, so you'll have to excuse him,Vel.
2011-06-10 [Roma]: Sorry, I know it's been my fault that there has been delay.
2011-06-13 [Duredhel]: Padma rolled a 4 :/
2011-06-13 [Veltzeh]: SHE GOT A FOUR!
2011-06-13 [Flisky]: Texas is not good for RPing...Still on the DSi.
Finneun followed as swiftly as he could sfter Padma's noisy entrance, not worried about extra noise now. "Two guards in front of the cave," he hissed at Az, not sure what she could do. He tried to see and smell into the cave to see if they were alerted already. If not, his paws were already on his swords. (scent/spot)
2011-06-14 [Roma]: I hope that's allowed.
2011-06-14 [Flisky]: I need to find a better way to post when I'm on the DSi.
2011-06-14 [Roma]: I appreciate you being able to type it through the comments though. +1 Dedication XP
2011-06-15 [Duredhel]: Have fun guys -> http://realmso
2011-06-16 [Duredhel]: Sorry for the delay, guys, I have a load of work right now. I'll put up a battle map on Saturday and we'll keep going.
2011-06-16 [Roma]: XD BA
2011-06-16 [Duredhel]: In the meantime, there's several Exhorian entries in the Wikispaces you can check out.
2011-06-17 [Ms. Steel]: I like the larvae. It's cute. Except for that whole... spitting corrosive fluids thing.
2011-06-17 [Duredhel]: XD I can totally see Jerry with one as a pet.
2011-06-17 [Roma]: :O The larvae is cute. Little adorable beady eyes.
2011-06-18 [Lepellier]: It is cute. And a little creepy.
2011-06-18 [Duredhel]: Battle >:D!
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: Feel free to post at any time 8>
2011-06-19 [Roma]: Again, I dunno if that is allowed but I thought I'd try it. XP
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: It is :>, but you need to give me the coordinates of where Az'rim is trying to run/move silently to. (btw, running is moving up to twice your movement but no doing anything else for that turn)
2011-06-19 [Roma]: Ahh... well, where's the tree?
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: Az'rim is already behind it XD, X8
2011-06-19 [Roma]: OH! Ha. Ha. Ha. >_>
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: Sorry, my bad XD, should've let you know.
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: Erm, Flisk :> you have to wait till the GM posts before doing your character's turn.
2011-06-19 [Flisky]: Oops. My bad. I just wanted to post before everyone got annoyed with me for not posting in so long. (Plus I'll be unreachable for most of the day tomorrow. :P)
2011-06-19 [Flisky]: Should I change my post?
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: Ohu, ok, just a quick reminder to everyone about how combat works!
Every turn, your character gets two "actions" meaning they can do two things. Some common actions are the following;
They can move (up to a number of squares equal to their DEX)
They can cast a spell (one action per spell level, so a level 4 spell takes 2 whole turns to cast)
They can attack or shoot a weapon (They need to be next to the enemy to use most melee weapons.. except spears and polearms and the sort)
They can use an item (potions, etc)
They can reload a ranged weapon
They can use a skill.
Now some of these can only be done once in a turn, for example shooting, spellcasting, reloading or attacking. Some can be done twice (taking up one action each time), such as moving, using items or using skills.
Also, Flisk, no need to change, spot doesn't take up any actions, so you can simply have Finneun do some stuff now.
2011-06-19 [Flisky]: I just wanted him to move. :P
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: Gotcha ;3 that works fine.
2011-06-19 [Veltzeh]:
I hope Ready exists. :P
And a hypothetical question about readying: it it possible to ready only one action, or two so that I could have Chese ready a movement to an exhorian and an attack against it once she saw one? (Obviously I'm not doing that now but I just want to know.)
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: I guess it could work for things such as sneak attacks, letting you do an attack out of your turn.
2011-06-19 [Veltzeh]: So is there no actual Ready, or what? I don't know what you actually answered...
2011-06-19 [Veltzeh]: Aargh! So confusing!
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: You can ready an attack ahead of time if you're gonna sneak attack an enemy. Which requires you to be hidden. Unfortunately, Chese was found.
2011-06-19 [Veltzeh]: Ahh, okay. And readying a move AND an attack doesn't work?
2011-06-19 [Duredhel]: nupe, best to just act in your turn :>
2011-06-20 [Veltzeh]:
But does Je'retiel know where Chese is? :P Did he make his spot check?
2011-06-20 [Ms. Steel]: Oh, poopers, I forgot she hid. I can change it iffa you'd like.
2011-06-20 [Roma]: (Vel, thanks for the maps. They're helping me a lot)
2011-06-20 [Duredhel]: I didn't think Chese was hiding from her own party. (You can hide from some people but not from others). Besides an exhorian already found her, announced her, and rushed her, so Jerry must know there's someone there.
2011-06-20 [Veltzeh]: Well, that's strange. But if it really works that way, Chese wasn't hiding from her party. But if she had been, Je'retiel wouldn't have known it was her unless he saw her. :P
2011-06-20 [Duredhel]: Well as I said, you can have her hide from everyone if you want. But there is such thing as different angles of vision, you know? If you stand behind a wall, the people on the other side can't see you, but the people on your side can ;3
2011-06-20 [Duredhel]: Az' rolled a 20 last turn and a 1 now XD
2011-06-20 [Veltzeh]: Sure I know that, but I have very little clue what you're doing with the game mechanics (like why some things work "realistically
2011-06-20 [Duredhel]: Well what I meant is that you can chose whether or not to hide form your party when you're hiding, I just assumed Chese wasn't hiding from the party. After all, they sort of watched her go and hide there XD.
2011-06-20 [Roma]: Drat!
2011-06-20 [Veltzeh]: And I meant that yes, I know that now, but are you writing these rules down somewhere so that other people can know it too? X)
2011-06-20 [Duredhel]: I probably should XD. I totally forgot we're meant to be used as a compilation of rules to someday publish stuff. Ok guys :> who wants to be in charge of writing combat rules for the wikispaces? :3
2011-06-21 [Duredhel]: Ok, more combat tutorial stuff.
Anything you do in your turn is called an action, anything you do in other people's turns is called reaction. Reactions refer mostly to trying to react to magic or a physical attack.
When reacting to Magic, you may be able to pick a type of resistance from the spell's description (For example, Heat Beam can be resisted with Dexterity or Constitution, whereas Frenzy can only be resisted with Charisma).
When you react to a physical attack, you have a choice between trying to dodge the attack (Dexterity) or trying to block it (Constitution).
Certain skills, such as Counterattack, Defensive Stance, Moment of Clarity, etc, or Special skills, such as Spirit Shield, may also be used during a reaction.
Right now Finneun has to react to the Exhorian's attack.
2011-06-21 [Flisky]: Did I do that right?
2011-06-22 [Duredhel]: yup, that's good, its blocking rather than dodging. :>
2011-06-22 [Roma]: This battle rocks. Just sayin.
2011-06-22 [Duredhel]: XD, glad you like how it's going. I generally try to read all the turns in one round and imagine them all happening almost simultaneously
2011-06-22 [Flisky]: We're just that awesome. XD
2011-06-22 [Ms. Steel]: Can Jer go over Fin's head with his whip, or must he have a clear shot with it? Or is it just left up to chance? ;-)
2011-06-22 [Duredhel]: You can try to use the a ranged weapon with someone between you and the target, but there's a chance you might hit Finneun.
2011-06-22 [Ms. Steel]: Welp, here goes nothing. Sorry in advance, Flisky!
2011-06-23 [Veltzeh]:
2011-06-23 [Veltzeh]: Do we have attacks of opportunities here? :o
2011-06-23 [Duredhel]: Yush! I intend to have them. In fact, it's part of the appeal of spears and polearms, a big threat area for attacks of opportunity.
2011-06-23 [Roma]: What are 'attacks of opportunity?!'
2011-06-23 [Veltzeh]: An attack of opportunity happens when someone moves within the reach of another's weapon. If Chese for example moved from R15 to Q14 and then to P13, the exhorian would attack her while she moves from Q14 to P13.
2011-06-23 [Duredhel]: Shit just got real.
2011-06-23 [Roma]: XO woah. Poor Chese!
2011-06-23 [Duredhel]: Yes, we do. They be pretty cool. It's just the effects of a Level 6 creature attacking a Level 2 character XD.
2011-06-23 [Veltzeh]: One critical and the target is in 1 kg pieces. :P
2011-06-23 [Roma]: I literally gasped when I saw what happened. This is some exciting shit.
Go, go, gadget Ixel!
