For the next week Da'Karis would be gone before Lily awoke and be gone most of the day. Rosi explained that the set up endangered everyone and he would most likely kill the person to protect everyone involved. "So, have the two of you discussed what will happen when you wish to return home or he wishes to marry you and needs to get your parents permission?" Rosi asked taking a sip of tea. Neither worked today as the tavern was being cleaned and any mending was being performed.
"I uh I we wait what!? No I mean marriage? We where'd you get that from I mean... He barely seems to... To... I Mean other than you know. Other than some of the stuff we do I mean I didn't even think he had feelings for me not really and I... My parents are probably going to kill me when I get home anyways" Lily rambled on over being caught in surprise by Rosi's questions. She was trying to mend some of her clothes and even a few of Kar's shirts. She wasn't good at it but she was trying and for who her family was and how rich they were that was a surprise. She was blushes bright red all the way down to her neckline. She was glad for a day off but she was lonely because Kar was gone. It seemed silly but she missed him and didn't really like waking up to an empty bed.
Rosi smiled broadly at Lily, "I had a feeling you two were swept up in the current of life. It would reflect poorly on him if he simply sent you home after what the two of you shared." Her mother had always said that Rosi could read minds, but when dealing with Lily and Da'Karis you only had to look at her blush. "What will you do about the man who Da'Karis threw out of the tavern? I suspect if he is after you he won't stop." In truth Lily had no idea why Galin was here in Valusia.
Lily blushed until uncle Galin was mentioned that was. "I don't know what Kar is planning with us I mean but as for uncle Galin... He's only ever been evil and bad... So the only thing I can think is that he's either here to kill me or capture me no matter what he says about my mother... I don't believe my mother would ever betray my daddy by asking my evil uncle to come and bring me home... Besides I think he might be afraid of Kar... In one on one maybe... But uncle Galin... Has an army behind him we call them the Sothites." Lily spoke softly as she struggled with her mending. She didn't want to look up at Risk it was embarrassing.
Da'Karis returned shortly after she finished, quickly shedding his coat and tunic a shallow gash ran from the top of his left shoulder to almost equal distance in the center of his chest. It was not bleeding badly just oozing a little since he had used his magic tattoo to heal most of the damage that had been done. "Lily, if I could ask your help in finishing the mending of my wound." he said in a nonchalant tone of voice, almost like he was asking what dinner that night would be. Rosi eyed them both for a long second then got out of her chair, "I see the two of you have things to discuss or whatever you will. I will return later with dinner or if summoned, Da'Karis your other coat came back yesterday and Voloa says too many more injuries and you will need a new one."
Lily stood and then squeaked as all of the mendings and the clothing falling to the floor. She scrambled to gather it all up again and stabbed herself with the needle. She stuck it into her mouth and heaped the clothes on the chair and went over to Kar to check his wound. "Won't need stitches... It'll heal smooth if you don't move around too much. Um I was trying to fix some of your shirts and mine I'm not very good at sewing though so. Here sit I'll clean the wound." Lily after inspecting his wound would gather everything from her already prepared tools. She had balms, and salves bandages and wrags and bowls all put together so if he came back injured she would be prepared. She could try fixing his coat too... But she had another idea. Since she was so bad at sewing it was probably a much better idea than her trying to fix it herself. "Successful day I hope."
"Yes the trail of the man who set us up ended with him passing from this realm. and thank you Lily for being such a good helper." he said as she took car of the wound. Rosi smiled and left the room for them to finish up dealing with the injury and discuss what happened. "I am glad that the coat returned as this one might need to be retired." he said eyeing the damaged one laying on the floor. "How was your day here?" he asked returning his attention to her.
Lily's hands moved deftly with much practiced ease as he cleaned his skin and then the wound itself. She applied the salve as she spoke, "slow. They are repairing downstairs so I've done laundry and cleaned and then I've been trying to sew all day. I never realized... How important a skill it was. But then... I was spoiled before. Lift your arm... Alright done. Don't move if it'll bother the wound or it won't close quickly." Lily said not noticing that she didn't ramble on and in anymore. In fact she rarely over thought things anymore what with her head being filled with thoughts of how to help Kar. She busied herself with putting everything away and cleaning up the mess. She didn't cry or tremble at his wounds... She had seen worse. In fact this was still a very large part of her life one she hasn't thought would still be there. But she was content where she was and who she was with. She smiled brightly at Kar. "For being a good patient." She said softly before kissing his forehead. They were almost the same height with him sitting down.
He accepted her taking care of his wound and placed his hand at the small of her back, "my thanks Lily." He planned on checking on Lily's uncle in the morning and if needs be force the issue of him leaving Valusia. "Are you still happy being here Lily, I believe there is less adventure in darning laundry or cleaning this place." Da'Karis hoped she was, but in case she no longer wished to remain here with him then he could send her home if she wished. He leaned forward and rested his forehead against just below her breasts and inhaled her scent.
Lily wrapped her arms loosely around his shoulders resting here with him was nice. "I may not be very good at things like this but... It's a different kind of adventure than what I thought I wanted but... This one seems... To be more fulfilling and I'm learning so much even how bad my sewing is. Besides who could put you back together as well as I do if I left. When I get home I'm gonna be locked away forever when I do go back. Might as well stay and love it while I can. Besides I have you." Lily said happily letting hold her as long as he wanted.

going home to be locked away?" he asked quietly as his other hand joined the first. He chuckled, "and you are right, you do a good deal better tending my wounds then Rosi does I suspect I will have to find another tied up noblewoman to take your place." he teased looking up at her and smiling again. Da'Karis figured if she left, he'd never find another woman like her ever again, not that he'd want to. There was something special about Lily, like hearing your own heartbeat for the first time or realizing what was missing from life. "Tonight, will you accompany me to dinner away from this place to an inn further into the city?" he asked tilting his head to better see her eyes.
"I just meant... I mean when you... Well if it doesn't... Stick between bus... I think this will be my last adventure... Even though it was my first. I'm sure not that many noblewomen are as thick in the head as I am. Where's this other inn? I wouldn't want to disturb your work. I know I still get in the way." Lily said honestly. About her wondering if she was enough for him to be satisfied with as a woman.... And about how this failed adventure of hers... Was the worst and best thing that had ever happened to her. She wondered too what he was up to with the invitation to dine at another inn.
He pulled her shirt free of her pants and lifted it up taking a second to look at her stomach and graze his lips across it as his hands spread across her naked back. Lily's breath hitched as he began kissing her trim stomach. "Then... I will do whatever I can to assist you as always Jar." He gave her a long kiss and ran his hands into hers, "Then if you wish to be in charge then you should have said 'You will train me some more." If Lily wished to be in control he was fine with it, and he would train her more but she'd have to get over the bashfulness. He lowered his mouth to her chest and kissed above her heart.

"You aren't... As shy as I am...but yes equals. I can't wait. I'm really excited for tomorrow now... Do... Do you think my uncle will press the issue with me being here?" She wondered if she decided to stay here..bwould her parents and conner be okay with that?
"I don't know Lily, but I will not leave you and if I must I will face him." Kar said kissing her again as he held her close. He did not know how long they would be together or what the next day would bring, but he wanted to be near Lily for good or ill.
"Kar... I... Think I'm in love with you. Like real love... Stay together forever love." Lily said softly hiding her face in the crook of Kar's neck. She just said something that she hadn't put a single though into. She really hoped he didn't turn her away after that little accident. She didn't even know if he believed in love.
Her admission made his heartbeat faster and he brought her head out of his neck and kissed her deeply, he didn't know how to put his feelings into words right now. But, he wanted her to feel that she meant a great deal to him, Da'Karis had never taught him what love was and the feeling was foreign to him.
Lily moaned softly and kissed him back wrapping her arms around his body and holding him tightly. She couldn't go back to her family... Not anymore. Maybe she could become his assistant. Or a spy for him. Even if she made him heal faster she would be happy. Really she wanted to be out there with him helping him in the night. One thing she knew...he wasn't sending her home she would stop him every time.
He began to harden inside her and desired her again, "Would you like a chance to be in charge again Lily?" All he would have to do is lay back and she would be on top again, if that was her desire.
"What again?!? I thought men needed time between well you know between." Lily said blushing brightly. She didn't think she was ready to try and take charge again... Not in the same day she needed to build her courage back up especially since he had undermined her this time. She wondered if it was because she told him how she felt.
"You are an exceptional lover Lily, and since we are equal I have an idea." Da'Karis said. From their position he began to thrust holding her just as they were and began to kiss her neck and shoulders. He looked up and grinned at her before kissing her again, "If what I am feeling is love then I love you too Lily."
Lily gasped and moaned as he thrust into her again with renewed vigor. When he told her he didn't know what love was but he felt it for her then she giggled between each gasp of his thrusts inside of her. She held onto him tightly but didn't attempt to take over at all.
