X-MEN GROUNDS

The large expanse of the grounds makes up the mansion's 'back yard'. Gently rolling hills give way to X-Men Woods on the northern edge. To the south is the X-Men Recreational Park, and to the northeast sits the X-Men Lakeside Park. There is also an eastern X-Men Picnic Area, giving the residents a place to relax during the warmer days. When the grounds are not covered in snow, they are instead green with the lush grass that grows in abundance, carefully tended and manicured to keep it beautiful year round. The view of the backside of the mansion is clear, with the connected outdoor X-Men Pools and X-Men Hot Tub sitting nearby. There is a single door leading to the X-Men Library.

Monday, May 25th

As she exited the X-Men Pools area, Valerie took a moment to look up at the darkening sky, and she took a slow, deep breath in, then spoke on the exhale, 'Ahhhh, smells like there's a fire already burning!' She combed a hand back through her loose hair, smoothing it back from her face, and looked back at whomever was right behind her.

Nadine caught up to Valerie, putting her thoughts about the others behind her as she lifted her head and sniffed the air in response to the older students remark, smiling when she smelled the fire too. "Do you think they'll have marshmallows and stuff?" She asked, going back to being excited about the bonfire she was getting to go to even though she wasn't supposed to be there.
