Elf12 is another Heddate-community, designed for younger children and for like-minded teenagers. Elf12 is designed to be the "stepping-stone" for Elftown, so that youngsters can gather and hang out in a site like Elftown, but less strict and more based on chatting, general fun and overall spending time with peers in a safe community. The idea behind the site was thought up by the "mayor" (Called the Grand Mog) at the time [Lerune] and the "vicemayor" (Known as the Vice Mog) [Calico Tiger] as a place for the children of Elftown to gather, and since then it has been expanded to a wider age group and has more activities, under the Grand Mog [Yuriona] and the Vice Mog [Stephen].

Elf12 has many different features; some, like the Daily Poem, can also be found here on Elftown and others, like the Adoptables and Collectable Cards Inc. are exclusive to Elf12. There is also the Wiki, House, Forums and other features that can be found here.

Frequently Asked Questions

<img:http://elf12.com/stuff/Nbullet6a.jpg> Is Elf12 invitation only?
No, it's not. It use to be, but the invitation-only system has been replaced by an application system. You can sign up for Elf12 at: http://elf12.com/newuser.html
Also, you can message [Yuriona] or [Stephen] for an invitation, if you desire.

<img:http://elf12.com/stuff/Nbullet6a.jpg> Are only children, teenagers and parents allowed?
No, we allow everyone as long as they are of good standing. Generally speaking, the members who are older than 16 hold some crew-position, or are encouraged to come here to Elftown, which is much more suited for older members. We do allow all ages to join, however.

<img:http://elf12.com/stuff/Nbullet6a.jpg> Why can't I see Elf12? Is nothing exported?
It is possible to export pages on Elf12, but it is not as easily done as it is here. As we try to keep Elf12 a more closed community to protect the members, exporting of pages is an ability given to members, and only the highest crew-level members can export their houses.

<img:http://elf12.com/stuff/Nbullet6a.jpg> If I want to help out with Elf12, who do I contact?
If you're interested in being site-staff on Elf12, speak with [Yuriona] or [Stephen].

2005-06-18 [roobea]: ive got an interested seven year old here. How do i get an invitation for him?

2005-06-18 [Paul Doyle]: I have a few co-workers who MIGHT be interested in having their kids on elf12 *knocks on wood* No guarantees, though.

2005-06-18 [Lerune]: Paul -- that would be great. I have neighbors that have just moved and their kids are going to sign up as soon as their move is done. And roobea, I have sent you a message. =o)

2005-06-18 [Kyrinn]: I dont have any friends here with kids... O.o

2005-06-18 [pixish]: They dont have to be from here :-)

2005-06-18 [Kyrinn]: no no I mean in the actual town I live in.. SInce I had my son my single friends avoid me like the plague, and none of them have had kids yet...

2005-06-19 [Paul Doyle]: They have no idea what they're missing. Kids can be parasites, of course, but they're such exquisitely lovable parasites. One moment you get that really cute, heartmelting adorable grin---and the next moment they projectile-burp. But hey, children makes us whole, so there :-)

2005-06-19 [Kyrinn]: there were times I was expecting someone to come running though the door and wave a cross over my son when he was still burping up, man, Linda Blair has nothing on the projectile range of my little guy when he was a newborn...

2005-06-19 [Paul Doyle]: Little Patrick reminded me of Mauna Loa in Hawaii. Incessantly burbling "lava" and spit-up, never really an earth-shaking eruption :B  My leather jacket has a few faint permanent spit-up stains, during one trip to Philly when a single burp-rag frankly wasn't enough. Think of Mt. St. Helens, 1980, or Krakatoa, 1883. o_@

2005-06-19 [Kyrinn]: eeesh.... Mykael would do the little spit upsover the day, but a couple times it was Mt st helens, and all over my poor husband. and there would be no warning. Just URRRRRRRP and a mess...

2005-06-20 [Paul Doyle]: Hmmm, maybe that's their of saying, "Daddy, I love you THIS much!" :P

2005-06-23 [MR.mOE]: [MR.mOE] hi
