A long time ago (about 30 years), in a galaxy far far away (well, a room in the BBC any way)...

A remarkable Ape Decendant, under the name of Douglas Nole Adams, put forward an idea to another earth decendant under the name of Simon Brett.
This idea was "the Hitch Hikers guide to the Galaxy" Radio Series.
And so the most remarkable Radio series/Book/Computer Game/TV Series/Film/Cult Icon was born.

And then came the inevitable HitchHikers Wiki.

Here on Elftown is, finnaly, a place for all you hoopy froods can go to relax.

2005-05-01 [bungalowbill]: Yeah, his running joke was that he was DNA in Cambrige before Diribonuclaic acid. ANYHOW, I read some dismal reviews, but I want you guy's opinions.

2005-05-01 [Vesthrix]: It’s the first movie that I've given a 10 to in a while. It didn't stick to the book completely but it worked in their favor since it gave them more licenses. Besides DNA made more then one version of the story that was good so that gives them some more room to play around. All the things that weren't exactly to the book were still funny.

2005-05-01 [bungalowbill]: Interesting. Anyone else?

2005-05-01 [ArchangelGabriel]: DNA wrote it so it can be as unusaual as he likes. I love the song BUT I STILL DON'T know where its from...

2005-05-01 [ArchangelGabriel]: Hey! it's on version number 42!!!!!!!!!!

2005-05-01 [bungalowbill]: Nice.

2005-05-01 [Charybdis]: It's a sign.. :O

2005-05-01 [Cathos]: There are spelling mistakes, but I daren't mention them because of the version number. :)

2005-05-02 [bungalowbill]: Of what? Apacolypse?

2005-05-02 [Charybdis]: >_> ... maybe. <_<

2005-05-02 [ArchangelGabriel]: I'm afraid by spelling is so abysmal that you should point them out - if just to save me embaresment.

2005-05-02 [bungalowbill]: Or apacolypse. BTW- embarrassment

2005-05-02 [ArchangelGabriel]: No, it is a sign that i've changed this wiki 42 times !

2005-05-02 [peacefrog]: Hi, Will. You, never change the Wiki again. It will ruin the moment.

2005-05-02 [bungalowbill]: Codswallop! What ARE you talking about?

2005-05-02 [ArchangelGabriel]: Will can't change this wiki any way. I am the one who decides wether you have access. Nope, i'm afraid peacefrog that th wiki must be changed.

2005-05-02 [Charybdis]: Then let us savour the moment and move on. ;_; *melodrama*

2005-05-02 [bungalowbill]: This too shall pass.

2005-05-02 [Jay Ladlehaus]: NPR gave a really awesome review for the movie, but CNN.com has been dogging it two times in a row now: http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/Movies/05/02/film.hitchhikers.guide.ap/index.html In this first review, the critic said the movie was meandering and episodic. Last time I checked so was the book, which was why it was funny, among other reasons.

2005-05-02 [bungalowbill]: Well, I'm notorius for tearing movies apart, so once I see it I will give my thoughts.

2005-05-03 [nokaredes]: Does anyone know how H2G2 = HHGTTG?

2005-05-03 [peacefrog]: nope. I was referring to a new subject for my next sentence when I said "you". what do you people need, a paragraph?

2005-05-03 [peacefrog]: My friends all said different stuff about the movie. But, michelle was talking to a male. She's volitile then. Fernn says it lacked dialog.

2005-05-03 [bungalowbill]: Hmmmm. Usually its h2g2tg isn't it? Maybe if you leave out "the" then HH=h2 g=G T=2 G=G so h2g2g. Eh, its close.

2005-05-03 [abandonedhouse7 7]: shouldn't it be hg2g?

2005-05-03 [ArchangelGabriel]: Hmm.... It doesn't really matter that much. i think the intials on their own are better than using initals and numbers.

2005-05-03 [Charybdis]: Wouldn't it be closer to h2gt2g? x_x Lol, I think I agree with [ArchangelGabriel] :p

2005-05-03 [bungalowbill]: me too. or just saying the whole thing.

2005-05-03 [ArchangelGabriel]: Also on the BBC it's H2G2 so hey...

2005-05-03 [Charybdis]: I suppose it would be if you decided to go by the proper capitalization and dropped the "to the"

2005-05-03 [ArchangelGabriel]: lol,

2005-05-03 [abandonedhouse7 7]: nooooooo!

2005-05-03 [Charybdis]: Eh? O_o

2005-05-03 [ArchangelGabriel]: I changed it, soz....

2005-05-03 [Charybdis]: Oh! lol

2005-05-03 [ArchangelGabriel]: The first fit in the quanternary phase is now up. theres a link under HHGTTG News

2005-05-04 [bungalowbill]: Huh?

2005-05-04 [Charybdis]: Um.. Lobsang? Could you translate that?

2005-05-04 [ArchangelGabriel]: The fourth (Quandary) phase (part) of the hhgttg Radio series (Primary and secondary came out thirty years agon, teritary came out last year). The show is made up of 'fits'. The first fit is now up on the internet, they'll replace it with the second fit on tuesay and so on. The link to the show can be found at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/

2005-05-04 [bungalowbill]: OH! I get it. *click*

2005-05-04 [ArchangelGabriel]: Has any one else listened to the first, secon or third phases yet?

2005-05-04 [bungalowbill]: Curses, no real player. I was hoping I could DL it.

2005-05-04 [ArchangelGabriel]: Real player is worth getting. It can make some really small versions of music. I can get about 20cds woth of music onto just one once its been through real player. Any hows, has any one listened to the other three pahses yet?

2005-05-04 [bungalowbill]: I'm currently downloading a .rar file of the original radio series (I hope)

2005-05-04 [bungalowbill]: Oh wait, it's done!

2005-05-04 [Cathos]: I'm on Linux and the programme Xine works happily given the right plug-ins for ram files.

2005-05-05 [abandonedhouse7 7]: *shouts* Magrethea!

2005-05-05 [nokaredes]: *grins*

2005-05-05 [bungalowbill]: Good choice of shouts.

2005-05-05 [ArchangelGabriel]: Hmm.. So long and thanks for all the fish!

2005-05-05 [nokaredes]: Oh, I had that stuck in my head for a long time. Now it'll probably be back. >.<

2005-05-05 [ArchangelGabriel]: soz > ) he he

2005-05-11 [Jay Ladlehaus]: Finally watched it last Thursday

2005-05-11 [nokaredes]: So...what did you think?

2005-05-11 [Jay Ladlehaus]: Well, it kept true to the spirit of the books, and was funny in its own right. It also makes me want to reread the books. The only problem was that there was only so much material that could be put into the movie. It's like trying to squeeze all three unedited movies of LOTR into two hours. Just not possible. Still a great movie though. I'll be buying the DVD.

2005-05-11 [nokaredes]: Ah, good...so many people hate it! I've started to get people's opinions before I say I like it...or that I've seen it twice already. ^_^; Do you remember Humma Kavula? 'Cause I don't...

2005-05-11 [Jay Ladlehaus]: uh oh, the Nerd Police are going to get me (http://www.theaterhopper.com/?strip_id=430)...I've had a long weekend. What was the Humman Kavula again?

2005-05-11 [nokaredes]: Who..the priest, with lots of gold spider legs...played by John Malkovich (yes, I read the credits...!)

2005-05-11 [ArchangelGabriel]: Somethign like huma kavula, someithng liek that. He was a new char that DNA wrote for the film. I'll make a page on him later. Along with the amendments to osme of the other pages to fit with the film. Any one who would like to help with this can raise their hand .... NOW

2005-05-11 [nokaredes]: *ducks*

2005-05-11 [Jay Ladlehaus]: maybe later...I'm slacking on some stuff in here as it is.

2005-05-11 [Vesthrix]: Been meaning to look for that tune.

2005-05-11 [ArchangelGabriel]: there are some other good ones there about marvin

2005-05-13 [bungalowbill]: Are these free-type downloads?

2005-05-13 [Cathos]: Linux seems to think so...

2005-05-13 [ArchangelGabriel]: just free mp3s. Incedentaly we aree one of the wikis of the month.

2005-05-13 [Jay Ladlehaus]: Oh really? Is that stated on Mainstreet?

2005-05-13 [Yoruno]: Yep, in the wiki awards!

2005-05-13 [ArchangelGabriel]: I'm rather pleased. This is my third awad winning wikis. And to think a month ago i only had one

2005-05-13 [Jay Ladlehaus]: good job :)

2005-05-13 [ArchangelGabriel]: That's Dracology, Alpha-Omega and HHGTTG. I'm so arrogant

2005-05-15 [Penguinlord]: so true

2005-05-15 [ArchangelGabriel]: Yep

2005-05-15 [abandonedhouse7 7]: Arrogant! *pokes* :P [Alpha - Omega]'s a shared award you know! Cheeky.

2005-05-16 [ArchangelGabriel]: HA, it only said it in your guestbook because you were the one who submitted it.

2005-05-16 [abandonedhouse7 7]: Yeah but I'm a player in the RPG too, mr I'm-a-clever-git *blows raspberry*

2005-05-16 [ArchangelGabriel]: That does rather sum me up doesn't it. Sorry. I'm going to stop flaunting now...

2005-05-16 [abandonedhouse7 7]: Good.

2005-05-16 [bungalowbill]: Flaauuuuunt

2005-05-16 [ArchangelGabriel]: I should appear on one of those 5-D tv chat shows : )

2005-05-16 [abandonedhouse7 7]: *rasies eyebrow*

2005-05-17 [ArchangelGabriel]: Sorry, i'm doing it again aren't i?

2005-05-17 [abandonedhouse7 7]: Yes you are.

2005-05-18 [bungalowbill]: you should purchase me a 5-D TV. Then I will watch youor chat show and be overwhemed by the flauntiness of it all.

2005-05-18 [abandonedhouse7 7]: Don't encourage him for Goddess's sake!

2005-05-20 [bungalowbill]: Oh c'mon! I'll get a 5-d TV out of the deal!

2005-05-20 [abandonedhouse7 7]: But his head'll inflate.

2005-05-20 [ArchangelGabriel]: Nah uh, i'm a hooloovoo, we don't have heads

2005-05-20 [abandonedhouse7 7]: Whatever.

2005-05-20 [Charybdis]: Gee, that must be inconvenient. O_o

2005-05-20 [abandonedhouse7 7]: lol

2005-05-20 [ArchangelGabriel]: yeah. operating the mouse is the hardest thing though...

2005-05-22 [Blaze the Nameless]: Finally, I have a wiki who love the book as much as I do.

2005-05-22 [ArchangelGabriel]: Hmm.... I'm a radio series person myself. Douglas adams had to many ideas for a radio series but his skill was script wrigting. Books wher realluy just a collection of the ideas... In short radio is my fav. Short but sweet.

2005-05-22 [Blaze the Nameless]: I like the books. I loved the movie! It was hilarous!

2005-05-22 [ArchangelGabriel]: It was a very good movie. I'm glad some body enjoyed it. I'm sick to the teeth with people who couldn't like it becasue it wasn't like the book. HHG has never had a definitive version...

2005-05-22 [Blaze the Nameless]: That's true. I mean, it didn't follow the book but I thought it was extremely hilarous!!

2005-05-22 [ArchangelGabriel]: And the book didn't follow the tv show, which didn't follow the radio so really they are all seperate entiyies and only connected by the brain which created them. one which is not only twisted but acttualy sprained.

2005-05-22 [AquaBuggy]: ₪₪₪₪₪ <those are fun and you should use them in this wiki alot!

2005-05-22 [Nyki]: http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/infocomjava.html <-- HHGTTG text-based adventure game.

2005-05-23 [AquaBuggy]: yes... i've playd the text adventure before... its a good one it is... that text adventure...

2005-05-23 [Blaze the Nameless]: Text adventure?

2005-05-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: I think its like the one on the bbc site. You have to give commands like 'open the box' or 'go north'

2005-05-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: AquaBuggy, whats the alt code for those little weird things?

2005-05-23 [abandonedhouse7 7]: They're dudey, I like them ^_^

2005-05-23 [AquaBuggy]: i forget the alt code... i was randomly trying crap. just copy paste ^_^ or do a google search on it XD because sadly, the hitch-hikers guide dosnt have a section on "₪"

2005-05-23 [AquaBuggy]: you should make one though

2005-05-23 [nokaredes]: I'm lost. What's "₪" again?

2005-05-23 [abandonedhouse7 7]: ₪ is a cool squiggle. The Temple of the Dudey Squiggle

2005-05-23 [bungalowbill]: ...and terribly off topic. So I finally saw the movie last night, and I have to say I am not entirely dissapointed. Nor am I terribly impressed. The fact that Douglas co-wrote the script lent the movie some credibility. The first half was pretty good (and faithful) though they left out many of the high points I remember from the book. A friend described it as "They took out all the good conversations" which I think is pretty accurate. No conversation between Ford and the construction workers, or the Vogon gaurd, etc, etc. The second half was rather dismal. Changed the plot entirely. I didn't like it, no matter what we say about all the hhg media being different. Arthur and Trillian got...

2005-05-23 [bungalowbill]: together? What's all that? And I think the budget for SFX was large enough to warrant Zaphod's second head being in the proper spot. I didn't like the chin bit. That said, the casting was good, the movie as a whole was better than most I've seen this year, and my high expectations are the only real downer here.

2005-05-23 [Vesthrix]: Well Arthur and Trillian do have a daughter later in the books by the name of Random.

2005-05-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: HHg doesn't have a plot. In one version they get of magrahea and sent to the resturant, in others they hitch a lift. I'm sorry but you just can't say that they've changed it. (although i was disapointed not to meet any golgafinchens)

2005-05-23 [Blaze the Nameless]: Well I thought the plot was for Arthur to some how get back to Earth.

2005-05-23 [nokaredes]: He got to Earth (the second Earth), but then he left again.

2005-05-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: Nope, in one he just wanted to find the answer. And in so long he a fenchurch lok for the question. In restuarant at the end of the universe he is just with zaphod trying to find the man in the shack (who happens to rule th euniverse - but he trys not to) and in life the universe and everythign hes trying to stop krikiters

2005-05-23 [Blaze the Nameless]: Don't spoil anything for me! I just started Life, the Universe and Everything! So far, it's pretty darn funny!!!

2005-05-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: Sorry. we do have a disclaimer at the top, But i promise not to give any more away.

2005-05-23 [abandonedhouse7 7]: The Temple of the Dudey Squiggle ₪₪₪₪₪ @.@ *mezmerised by squigglyness*

2005-05-25 [bungalowbill]: Yes, of course, they do have a daughter. Though I must point out that Arthur is dissapointed at not recalling the act of creating said daughter, and essentially Trillian and he aren't an item prior to. It does have a plot. Several of them actually. Though the obvious best version is the books--In the Salmon Of Doubt I believe Douglas talks about doing the radio show week by week for enough money to live on. The game is certainly not focused so much on plot, etc. The books were the best place to convey much of the deeper stuff-- the subtle high level humour, the philosophical bits and whatnot. SO of course I can say they changed the plot. Because they did. If they hadn't I would be surprised.

2005-05-25 [Pontius Pilate]: Did anyone here know that there are missing chapters to So Long and Thanks for all the Fish?

2005-05-25 [Pontius Pilate]: It's probably just a fanfiction though, but if so, it's remarkably like Adams' work.

2005-05-26 [ArchangelGabriel]: Yep, it could be refering to the epliloge. They might have left it out of the origonal....

2005-05-26 [Doormat]: Was it, 'Young Zaphod Plays it Safe' or something?

2005-05-26 [Blaze the Nameless]: Yeha, that's it. I have it in the Complete Hitchhikers' Guide.

2005-05-26 [Doormat]: Do you have the leather bound one?

2005-05-27 [Blaze the Nameless]: No

2005-05-27 [ArchangelGabriel]: Me neither. I'm surprised young zaphod plays it safe would have been in there... Does any one else have a copy of Last Chance to See? It is a s really good book. Worth looking out for. I didn't even know it existed till i saw it in a charity shop. I'm not even sure if its still in print.

2005-05-27 [Blaze the Nameless]: What's it about?

2005-05-27 [ArchangelGabriel]: Its about douglas adams going out and finding a whole load of rare animals. Amoung which he meets a white rhino, an extinct coffe bean and a flightless parrot. Along with an egal that has s*x with bowler hats. All real life and totaly cool

2005-05-27 [Blaze the Nameless]: Oh yeah. I read about that in the back of the Complete Hitchhikers' Guide.

2005-05-27 [ArchangelGabriel]: Its a really good book, very funny, really thoughtful. He gets his dinner eaten by a speeding komodo dragon.

2005-05-27 [Blaze the Nameless]: Hahahahahahahah

2005-05-27 [ArchangelGabriel]: yeah, the komodo dragon bit is one of the best. He stares into its grusome eyes and realises that what he sees is a refelctoion of himself. They kill a goat once a day as entertainment so peoiple can watch it being eaten. And he realises that th emonster is us

2005-05-27 [Blaze the Nameless]: Wow.

2005-05-27 [Jay Ladlehaus]: I read a short story where the main character is trying to track down a shapeshifter that takes the form of the highest member in the food chain that it kills. Naturally, it got no further than humanity and began to prey on humanity's natural prey...humanity.

2005-05-27 [ArchangelGabriel]: nice...

2005-05-27 [Blaze the Nameless]: Interesting.

2005-05-28 [albert]: Sounds..bloody...

2005-05-28 [ArchangelGabriel]: But true. Its like the silastic armorfiends of striterax except with amnners.. which in a way makes it worse.

2005-06-03 [Nah.]: I don't understand HHGTTG , my youger brother really likes it but i fail to understand

2005-06-03 [albert]: That's probably because Douglas Adams has this thing about going totally wild with the plot, throwing all over the place. It's hard to keep up, so to speak..

2005-06-03 [Nah.]: yeah very

2005-06-03 [Charybdis]: Probably the best thing to do is reread it. I know that the books make way more sense the second time around... at least, they did to me ^^;

2005-06-03 [Jay Ladlehaus]: I was able to pick up a chick reading it on the train. That was unexpected.

2005-06-03 [Charybdis]: O_o

2005-06-03 [Jay Ladlehaus]: Not me picking up the chick, but doing it while reading the book.

2005-06-03 [Blaze the Nameless]: I just finished reading Life, the Universe and Everything. Bit gloomy.

2005-06-03 [ArchangelGabriel]: Gloomy? i thought life, the universe and everythign was one of his best books. It all works, it holistsic (i like dirk gently - one of my fav books) and totaly makes sence. The fact that they happen to be flying through space ina a cheap italian bistro even has some logic to it. Nope, definatly one of the most complete books i've ever had the privaledge to read except for the holistic detective agency...

2005-06-03 [Jay Ladlehaus]: lol bistromathics

2005-06-03 [Blaze the Nameless]: I think The Resturant at the End of the Universe was the best

2005-06-03 [ArchangelGabriel]: Which version? The one with hot black desearto or the one with haganegons?

2005-06-04 [Blaze the Nameless]: Hot Black

2005-06-05 [Doormat]: haganegons?

2005-06-06 [Cathos]: Haganemnons.

2005-06-06 [ArchangelGabriel]: Yeah, sorry, i can't spell. They're super evoloutionary creatures. If they cann't reach a spoon to stir their coffe then they will just eovolve into somethign with much longer arms but probably quite incapable of drinking it.

2005-06-09 [Doormat]: why was I not informed of these crazy spinoffs?

2005-06-09 [AquaBuggy]: 8D

2005-06-09 [ArchangelGabriel]: spin offs? I'm sorry but the Haganemnons are from the origonal radio series. I'm afradi they don't count as spin offs.

2005-06-12 [bungalowbill]: Ooooh, I'm not that far yet. I must listen on.

2005-06-12 [ArchangelGabriel]: It will take a while - they end the first series

2005-06-12 [bungalowbill]: Okay, so I was going to try to come up with more by myself, but I think I shall start a beta open of my first wiki Lyrics to Live By because I know everyone here has some great ones. Please post them on the LTLB - User Lyrics link at the bottom of the page. Thanks!

2005-06-15 [Sebhar]: Well, good morning everybody! Figured I'd stop in, see what other kinds of froody people ET contains...

2005-06-16 [bungalowbill]: among others, you! Thanks for the submission for "LTLB"

2005-06-16 [Little Black RainCloud]: S.E.P.

2005-06-16 [ArchangelGabriel]: Lol, just paint it pink or make it look like a cheap italian bistro ^^

2005-06-16 [Blaze the Nameless]: Hahahahaha

2005-06-16 [Little Black RainCloud]: :)

2005-06-22 [Scarlet Lioness]: ok...I just finished the last book (Mostly Harmless) and I kinda feel dissapointed...the end was a major shock! I mean...you don't get to know Random very well do you other than the fact that she's really unstable...and Ford! he's supposed to be like a cockroach...never dies...

2005-06-22 [ArchangelGabriel]: yeah, mostly harmless was ... weird. I do like Lamuella though ^_^ I think he was a much better script wriger...

2005-06-22 [Scarlet Lioness]: yeah, Arthur being the Sandwich Maker was awesome, and the book was absolutely fantastic up until Mostly Harmless and that ending...I really feel shafted about that ending. lol.

2005-06-22 [ArchangelGabriel]: Just stay cool mr beeblbrox. Zarniwoop is to cool to see you now... hes on in intergalatic crusie. Back sir? he's in his office... ^_^ Sorry, it was the hip and cool quote that got me started. Any hows. Don't get me started on the neurotic lifts. I think he just wanted to get hitch hikers out of his hair...

2005-06-22 [Scarlet Lioness]: lol. I knew that would get someone going besides me!

2005-06-22 [ArchangelGabriel]: So your a radio series person right?

2005-06-22 [ArchangelGabriel]: After an extensive search i haev found the correct spelling is not Hagumennons or Haganemnons but Haggunennons

2005-06-22 [Scarlet Lioness]: no, I've haven't heard the radio series actually. I've only read the books and I've seen the movie.

2005-06-22 [ArchangelGabriel]: Really. I only rember that bit in the radio series.. ahh well.As well as fining the correct spelling of Haggunennons i also found awiked scfi site and the entire scripts.. any one intrested?

2005-06-23 [albert]: I'm reading the very last book - the salmon of doubt. It was made after his death you know. it's pretty good :D

2005-06-23 [albert]: i hated the end of mostly harmless too. I mean fenchurch was just dimissed into space, and zaphood was hardly mentioned! hmrph

2005-06-23 [Charybdis]: Wasn't he depressed when he wrote it or something? I think I remember reading that somewhere, but don't quote me on it. Yeah, the ending disappointed me too...

2005-06-23 [AquaBuggy]: the ending dissapoints alot of people... thats why i like it ;)

2005-06-23 [Charybdis]: Eh...? O_o

2005-06-23 [bungalowbill]: I think a link to the scripts is well deserved on some part of this glorious little wiki, I'm pretty sure Zaphod said something along the lines of "I'm so cool you could store a side of beef in me for a month, I'm so hip I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis" in the books. I know one of my friends wrote it in a yearbook back in the day.

2005-06-23 [Scarlet Lioness]: yeah! I love that part! I wrote that to some extent next to my name when I signed up here.

2005-06-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: Hewas sayign it to th epink grasshopper at the reception of mega dodo publications when demanding to meet zarniwoop who was on an integalactic cruise ... in his office.

2005-06-23 [Sebhar]: They need to make that, where you can take an intergalactic cruise from your office. I'd take one right now; I need a vacation desperately.

2005-06-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: Its not exact. Frogstar fighters are the wrong colour.

2005-06-23 [Sebhar]: So I'm told. *wonders vaguely what a Frogstar fighter would taste like, and if the colour variation would affect the flavour*

2005-06-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: frogstar fighters come from the most utterly evil planet in the galaxy. Although they're pretty stupid whnen compared to marvin, they do have some great weapons... Like ... THE TOTAL PERPECTIVE VORTEX *thunder*

2005-06-23 [Sebhar]: *listens in amazement to the echo reverberating off the walls* I know, I've read the books 'n' all...

2005-06-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: Soory.. I get a bit ...carrreied away. Any one want to do a report on marvin?

2005-06-23 [albert]: I don't know- he's depression would rub of on me, I'm shure. But wouldn't you just hate doors that talked everytime you got close to them too?

2005-06-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: 'Glad to be of servise, ahhh.....' I dunno. I tihnk the neurotic lifts would be worst. Or the ones which are afaid of heights...

2005-06-23 [Scarlet Lioness]: well I know how they feel! I'm afraid of heights too. Although I'm not a lift...anywho...but yeah, that wonderful conversation between Marvin and that incredibly large an stupid machine was just great!

2005-06-23 [Jay Ladlehaus]: My favorite from the books is when Marvin talks to the tank-bot when the Guide headquarters gets attacked. "Hell's bells!"

2005-06-23 [ArchangelGabriel]: Thats nthoing. i can take this floor out no problem...

2005-06-23 [Scarlet Lioness]: that's great!

2005-06-23 [albert]: There should be an entry for Douglas Adams himself, though. Or is there allready, and I have just missed it? I can write one if there's any mood for that

2005-06-23 [Blaze the Nameless]: There should be. That's a good idea.
