Hello, stranger. Have you mooed today?


Who, me? I'm very far defined by the people I love, the people I have opened my heart to. After all, without them I would be but a shadow of myself, a shell. I've had my share of problems, you see, but these people make me want to do good things, they give me the strength and the will to not only survive, but to really live as well.
That said, I do actually have a personality of my own, no matter how much affected it is by friends, believe it or not. I'm just very bad with words when it comes to describing myself through, well, myself. And I'm supposed to be a fairly good writer. Go figure.

Some say I'm wise, or intelligent, or talented. I may be all of those things, who knows. I'm now only myself exploring my potential, and it will take me a while to truly believe any of those words can be applied to little old me. I've also been told I'm mysterious, and I assume (and I've been told so) this is derived from the fact that I'm often silent and seem lost in thoughts, while in fact, I could be just spacing off and thinking about nothing at all.
What am I for sure, then? Let me see. Hopeful, naïve, moody, loving, geeky, timid, and most certainly intrigued by the myriad of both the big and small wonders this world has to offer. And I love cute things - but then again, who wouldn't?
I'm very emotional, and sometimes it's a problem. Yet, in the end, I wouldn't trade it away, ever. My world isn't the deepest of them all, but it's still deep. More importantly, it's beautiful, even despite its cruelty, and that's what I hope is conveyed to the reader in my poems and stories.

Yes, I write. I always have, I always will. It's not always good, and I still need to develop, but it's something I think I actually might have some real skill in. Aside from that, I dabble in things like drawing, photography, and various crafts. Bookbinding, to give you an example. I sing, though mostly to myself, and I've been known to squeal over good music.
I love to read, and I'm always up for watching a movie, even if only for its geek value. Before you ask, yes, I roleplay, more or less regularly. This has been a perfect excuse to start collecting dice (for I am most definitely a packrat). Dungeons & Dragons is my drug, what's yours?
I love languages, and I love learning new things. I'm quite ambitious about that, actually. I have a slightly formidable curiosity streak, and I get easily frustrated if I don't understand something. I want to be the renaissance man.


Now, I've told you quite extensively about myself, and if you haven't been scared off by now (either by the big chunk of text or by my eccentricity), feel free to drop me a line or two. I won't bite.
