Hello,
My name is Lynette Hill. I am an American currently living in the UK. I enjoy all types of fantasy and science fiction books and movies. I enjoy fantasy so much that I have written (warning! shameless self-promotion ahead!) a fantasy novel called Half note's Song that is available on Amazon.com. It includes magic and dragons and the struggles of a young apprentice to know her own power. My day job is at a call center which inspires me to great fantasies of doing something else (writing full-time, for instance). My favorite author at the moment is Lois McMasters Bujold, especially her Chalion series. I also get a kick out of Carrie Vaughn's werewolf books. I enjoyed most of Harry Potter, the first three Star Wars movies and the Narnia series (as well as C.S. Lewis' adult books) and recently visited the Roald Dahl museum in Greater Messing, UK (a bit of a disappointment if you neglect to bring children along with you.) I look forward to having like-minded folks to chat with.
