I am a student, a writer, I am interested in fantasy and sci-fi because it's the way I excape from everyday life. I have been wandering through your sight here on the net, and it's an amazing world. I would like to be a part of this world, because I have been a wandering "jypsee" for a long time now. I don't know how long I will be able to stay here, but while I am here, I would like to make some friends and contribute my poetry. It's something that I have wanted for many years, to write poetry. I have written in journals, and they have gotten lost, pages and pages have been destroyed whenever I would move around. I would like a home on the net where I can make my mark, and a place to come back to whenever I can, if I would have to leave suddenly because of external changes in my life and atmosphere that surrounds me. I can give you examples of my poems if you need them. Lots of them are still inside my head from long ago, even though the pages have long been destroyed.
ROUGH EXAMPLE:
Shy Princess stops
Herself from falling
Into the rage
That she could feel
Coming
From inside her brain
Without hardly
A warning
She couldn't explain
The way she was feeling
The shyest princess
In the darkness
Was flying higher
Then she wanted
With rainbow moonbeams
In her eyes
She flew even faster
Determined to find
The magic that
Was never lost
Just abused, and unused,
And then finally
Forgot.
