She is a lovely 18 year old Australian student who doesn't quite remember how she ended up in Elftown. But we're glad to have her here! Anyhow..when you've taken a look at her house, it will be no surprise that [
Katie Staines] loves drawing. Though it became, in her own words, an overnight addiction in 2000. And she loves other things as well. Horses and reading are her other passions. Some of her favourite fantasy novels include Wheel before time (Robert Jorden), Night World (Lisa Smith), and Phantom (Susan Kay).
She might not remember how she got here, but we know why she stayed here:

"Oh, Criticize Elftown!? DeGasp. Got nothing to say on that matter. Was worried a while back when a lot of people went through this cyber phase... but it worked itself out brilliantly. I don't honestly think Elftown can run any better then it already does. It's a true community."
