My name is Kris, and I've been a fantasy / sci-fi goober for some time now. I draw, I write, and I para-roleplay. I have a gallery and a wyvern's shelf if you'd like to have a look-see at my work. (please?)

I like cooking, dragons, anthros, science fiction, music, fantasy and bizarre creatures. Maybe not quite in that order.

I speak english, and I'm semi-fluent in japanese. Myabe not enough to hold a deep, complex conversation, but certainly enough to get by. Just as a side note, I speak real japanese, not fanboy japanese. I will never address my english-speaking friends as "blank-chan" or "blank-kun", and you will never hear me use the word "kawaii" in a sentance unless you want something translated. Its a beautiful language, it really is. Simple to learn and pretty to look at. I'm terribly sorry that the internet has corrupted it so much and degraded it to otaku-speak.

I'm also a pianist. We need a wiki or something.
Actually, I'm a bit more then a pianist. I'm a musical whore. I've been playing since I was 4 or 5, and to this day I cannot imagine even a day going by without music. I listen to almost everything, Mozart's many sonatas make me think, Beethoven's amazing concertos make me wonder, the blazing soprano voices of Nightwish inspire me, The oddly lilting sounds of Metroid bewilder me, The astounding tunes of Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Zelda make me remember times past, and the wonderous music of animes such as Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away can put me to sleep at night.

If you'd like to start a roleplay with me, I'd certainly oblige you. Simply message me saying when / where / what type, ect. Keep in mind that even if I don't want to, I'll certainly make it worth your time to talk to me.

Now, lets get to what I don't like.

I don't want to hear your lameass, mail-order "true love" story. Especially not the motercycle one. I don't want to hear your lameass mail-order rape story either. I know its sick and it happens, but guess what people: posting it on your house won't change much. Sorry.

I don't want to hear if you're "one of the 4% who will", the "8% who'd be laughing" or the "2% who hasn't." Don't you know that 89.2% of statistics are made up on the spot? I mean, its all well and good if you love God or havn't tried pot and whatnot. . .but still, you don't need a statistic.

Don't send me a chain letter. They're dumb.

I will not respond to a one word message. I do not have that kind of time.

I do not appreciate sexual offers or hook-ups. Elftown is not a dating service.

I shouldn't have to say this, but don't harrass me and expect not to be reported. If you harrass me, I will report you. Its very simple.

I most likely will not respond to a message written in AOL language. (ex: OMG u r so hawt!!!!1)

Do use real words. I like those.

Do have an actual topic in mind when you message me. A question, a comment, anything but "hi".

And above all, do use common sense. I really have no reason not to respond to you unless you act really super dumb. Don't be intimidated!

I also will probably not respond to someone who thinks he/she needs to educate me in the ways of politeness and defend him/herself against the aforementioned rules. This is my house, and these are my rules. If you don't like them, the door's over there.
