I am a passionate half-elven scholar pretending to be human by studying at a University. An elfin muse follows me around and distracts me in class with pictures to be sketched, and passages to be written. I am enthralled to the written word, particularly those of the late geniuses John Ronald Ruel Tolkien, and his close friend, Clive Staples "Jack" Lewis. My greatest selfish dream is so publish my own fantasy novel(s) and other short stories, and use my fame and fortune to better the world. However, if I can instill in my children (when I have them) the same love of literature, the same boundless imagination, and the same passion for life that I experience daily, I will be content.

Oh, WOW! Have I had a summer! As some of you probably know, I spent last summer in the Dominican Repubic, working as a volunteer intern for the mission organization Children of the Nations (COTN), in the small town of Barahona. I am now back in the states, trying to both recover (not very hard) and to enact everything I've learned (which is a lot, and takes quite a bit of will power and concious effort). I miss my kids in the DR sooo much!! Everyone down there is amazing, and such wild characters; you can't help but enjoy, laugh and learn around such amazing christian people full of such life. One rather surprising thought that occured to me, and demonstrated in just how many ways this trip has taught me about life, was that "for no such length of time have I been so closely surrounded by people of such high character." I found it especially applicable to the guys on my team. I've never had a brother before, and now I can proudly say that I have six of the worlds most amazing brothers!  I know most of you are now starting to get bored, so I'll keep this short. If you have a burning desire for more specific stories (and I have a plethora!) just message me.
