Shredded Heart

I sealed my heart in all of my grief
torment and pain that you've keep on bringing
Tears asking why you're keep on coming
When I finally realize that this place does
not belong to you
But out of my conscience, you infested it
Live this furied heart or should I wept again
in bloody tears
Go, and find what's for you
leave this shredded heart of mine,
That you've been killed before.

The Name of the Game

Drowning, drowning
Finding, finding
Within this quick sand

Too strong for me
To withstand
Too cryptic for

Me to understand
Wrapped tight within
My wonderland

The dreams we all share
Quickening, quickening
Tightening its grip

It cannot fit
It shall not fit
It shall not sit

And fade away
Where I lay
Falling, deeper

This mountain, steeper
Unsurmoutable
Unfathomable

It has a name
It plays a game
Within my name

Within my brain
It remains the same
This love is enough

To flow through veins
And pull me free
Free of this game

I am

I will always be
Beautiful.
As the stars, older and wiser
And when I die, the world
Will look upon my existence
And they will find their way.
I will always be
Admirable.
As a flower, multiple
Alight, sprung forth upon
The mouth of the earth
Gentle, fragile; comforting.
I will always be
Visible.
As I smile, move
Dance and whirl, swing
As I give and receive
As I shoulder and shrug
As I think and act -
As I am...
I will always be.

A Child's Christmas

Colorful lights brighten the room,
Mommy's wearing a new perfume.
Cheerful music everywhere,
Lots of cookies for us to share.
It's starting to get cold outside,
Dad keeps the heat cranked way up high.
People rush from here to there,
Letting in the cold night air.
They tell me Santa is coming soon,
He'll fly high above the moon.
Making stops from house to house,
Everyones asleep, even the mouse.
He'll leave presents beneath the tree,
It's all lit up for him to see.
He'll finish quickly, it's time to go,
Merry Christmas, and ho ho ho.
