             Special friends are hard to find,
             Especially those, one of a kind!
             When it comes to finding
             Just the right words to speak,
             The mind fumbles feverishly,
             Searching, trying to seek.
             When the words are found,
             Generally, there's a flood,
             Then it's up to choosing,
             The best ones for my Bud!
             Yes, I think you are amazing,
             With a heart as big as the sky,
             You needn't really wonder,
             Nor need you ask me why!
             You see, I look at folks
             In a different kind of way.
             I view a person by their heart,
             Whether hidden or on display.
             We all do make mistakes,
             This I know I do,
             But a person's heart,
             Will always pull them through.
             Mistakes are just the teachers,
             That en grace our life, stalk,
             But they carve out the pathway,
             As forward, hence, we walk.
