B12*




Vitamin B-12 is essential for the normal formation of blood cells and contributes to the health of the nervous system. In addition, the B vitamins play a role in energy metabolism in the body.

For adults, taking one 100 MCG tablet daily (preferably with a meal) is recommended.

B12 can be found in animal products (meat, fish, eggs & dairy products). As long as you're not vegetarian you should have enough intake of B12 through food to not need tablets (and a lot of meat replacers have B12 added, at least in the Netherlands).
