Golden_Promise_Pegasus majestically flying in to unite with his beloved Galadriel, who has been waiting for this "Golden Rendezvous of Love". She had been loving a dragon king, whom she loved in spite of himself, but when he finally opened his heart to Galadriel, his 'true identity' was revealed in actuality to be, thy great Golden Promise Pegasus, and so, Galadriel, too, was then given the same 'golden accents' to commemorate the "Golden Union" and the promise, signified by the rainbow, is the sacred covenant of love between them. |
The Pegasus in this artwork is my "Golden_Promise_Pegasus". As I was creating him, the rainbow in the sky idea, which he could be jumping over, continually invaded my thoughts (see just below). The rain- bow is a symbolism of God's Promise that He will never again flood the earth. Since Medusa-Mother_Of_Pegasus, a Gorgon, had golden hair and wings, the idea of picturing Pegasus with some of his mother's characteristic with his golden hooves and wings, as inherited golden characteristic great Pegasus. Therefore, these two explanations put together, are the factors that played the definitive role in the naming of this Pegasus of mine. It has also been interesting and rather a nice compliment, seeing it is my Pegasus with "golden attributes" that has gotten the attention of many; it is my Pegasus that has and does stand out among the rest, most of which are white, but in the world of equines, of horsemen and horsewomen, the colour is really considered to be "grey" or "gray", depending on which English you use or speak. The only true white horse is the Albino, which also has blue, pink, or glass eyes. But what I haven't revealed about my Golden Promise Pegasus, until now, is that he was to become a main character in my story, "The_Magic_Of_The_Unicorn", which I briefly explain above. It took me weeks to reach the point where I would be happy with the creating of Golden_Promise, for he had to be exquisite, astounding, majestic, and exude the masculinity and beauty such a superb stallion would possess. I reached this point of being satisfied with the outcome on 2009-12-20. Then to commemorate the day set aside for love and lovers, I created this "Golden Romance", bringing the two, my _Galadriel_ and my Golden_Promise together for Saint Valentine's Day. |
