The stairwell is empty and the cements steps and walls are entirely bare. There is only a door at the top of the stairs and another at the bottom.

Shrill grunted loudly as he hopped down the stairs and through the door to the Lab 218: E-Block.

Seconds before Shrill exited the stairwell, Luca leaned over the railing and shouted its name, then growled to himself when the short, waddling creature ignored him. These fuckers never listen. He thought as he quickly followed after into Lab 218: E-Block.

Silera burst through the door and growled. She'd barely seen a glimpse of Marcus following her and she continued up to Lab 218: D - Block. She wasn't ready to stop running, not until she judged to be able to find a way out or a safe place. There had to be one.
