Yes, that was the idea (I think. I wasn't the one starting it, but why would it otherwise be for?). But it would be nice to have a word about it on every page in case anyone stumble upon a single page.

That is because you mention the image on pegasus and Google therefore lists it in its image-search after reading on Elftown.

lair2000.net still hasn't put up any link to Elftown.

2008-01-15 [Hedda]: Adding "Elftown" is pretty pointless. Your name will be on the page, but the page isn't about you, so it shouldn't be there to make the name so huge.

The reason for the Google-search result is that you mentioned the image on Pegasus.

I thought you already had sent the email about suggesting her to link back to Elftown.

PSP Picture tubes should contain links to all tubes, shouldn't it? If it becomes too big, then you can divide it? I'll leave it to you to decide how to do it, but as a comment I can say that you should have as few link-pages as possible and make everything as simple as possible. And if you can sort the content after type instead of creator, it might be better.

But use your own judgment, because I don't know what you're going to upload or how to divide it well. It should be pretty easy to rearrange it if something becomes really illogical.

2008-01-17 [Hedda]: What they call stealing bandwidth is when someone hot-links their images instead of copying them and placing them on the server that hosts the page the image is included in.

Lower or upper case doesn't matter.

The bugmenot passwords don't work, so it's just someone who have uploaded some lies. I would of course close accounts which have their passwords posted.

It's totally OK to use Elftown's bandwidth there. You have to have millions of visitors before it's a problem.

2010-02-04 [Morningstar Rising]: That's a great idea, knowledge is power. I would fix it myself, but I don't have the main disc. I have friends that do this for a living and they have taught me how to do certain things. I am still learning and I have opened my web page, but have not done anything with it yet. I like everything there is about computers, hopefully I will learn more. I say go for it, it will not hurt to learn all that you can. YOu are a smart woman and with your know how and your talent you can go far.
