Rules:

1. POEMS MUST BE WRITTEN BY ELFTOWNERS AND POSTED HERE BY THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR.
Which means, no matter how much you might like a particular poem on somebody's house, you are not allowed to add it here without the writer's permission. Poems also must be written in English. Limit is 2 entries per person.


2. LENGTH:
Since the chosen two poems will be featured on Main Street, we wouldn't like them to be too long. Anywhere between 3-30 lines is acceptable. Be creative but please keep that in mind!


3. SUBJECT MATTER:
Submissions must be written with good taste and remembering the large age scope of ET; that is, don't enter anything with either graphically violent or sexually explicit content.


Theme:
The theme of this poetry contest is: SCIENCE FICTION
All entries must have at least some science fiction elements in them to be approved.


How to post your poem:
Add the poem after the last one that has been already posted. Don't forget to write its title and author ("Written by...").


Deadline: October 6th, 2007

Note:
Two poems will be picked out by the Council among all those presented. Participants will receive green worm badges, and winners will receive a coloured version of the same.
