Biggest Piece of Nonsense About Anime I’ve ever seen

The above site is a petition against anime, stating that all anime is "perverse, evil and insiduous" and that.. oh what was it they said? Oh yes, they dont want this "Japanese filth corrupting the hearts of the children."
Well this is [Dil*]'s stance on the bias and ignorant opinion of these Americans:

I've read a lot of stuff on the internet against anime, but this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. At first I thought it must be a joke. But I asked around and found out it wasn't. I suppose thinking that it was surely a joke would require me to place too much faith in people. I guess some reject of a human being would write something so stupid.
This little article blames moral decay in America on Anime. This article states that anime is corrupting the youth of America. Need I say more? Just stating their ideas is hilarious enough. Then the article goes on to picking two biased samples of anime, "Love Hina" and "Oh My Goddess" and saying how horrible all anime is, using these as their only examples. I'm sorry; I've sinned against god by watching those two animes. I'm going to mass murder and rape people now!
The anime cited, Love Hina and Oh My Goddess, weren't even that terrible or offensive, they are humorous and entirely fictional. We get worse stuff on cable T.V. Not to mention the stupidity of banning all anime, which more informed people will know refers to an entire style of drawing and colouring cartoons, based on the original japanese cartoons shown worldwide. Banning an entire style based upon this biased sample of just two animes, while many genres and studios create anime entirely different from them is just ridiculous, and stems from the same irrational fear that inspired the Witch Trials. Also, instead of immediately attacking anime, shouldnt such highly religious people be worried about whatever friend or relative they have who has been found to own only the more perverted varieties of anime?
There are many examples of racism and prejudice in this article, like statements such as "Anime is a dark scourge upon our beautiful nation, and we don't need this Japanese filth corrupting the hearts of the children." and "Anime is a perverse, evil, insidious form of animation from the dark land of Japan..." Just quoting this crap is enough to insult it. It's self-insulting. All in all, this is a biased, racist and useless article, which does not deserve to exist, and I sincerely hope the signatures decorating this petition were other people like myself who assumed this was a joke and if not, I fear for the level of ignorance existing in the American People today.
