X-Men Party Hall

The party hall is set up with a long table, topped with trays of food and snacks, consisting of several fruits (strawberries, grapes, watermelon, anything, really), cheese cubes, chips and dip, pretzels, chocolate candy bars, etc., along with a giant bowl of blood red (fruit punch flavored) punch and a water dispenser at the end. Plates, utensils, napkins and cups are placed in several areas along the table for students' convenience, and large, round tables are set up with Halloween-esque table cloths and decorations (fake autumn leaves, bats, ghost, etc.), allowing up to 8 people to sit at each one.

X-Men Party Hall Hist1.

Costume descriptions!

Addy - Vesper Lynd, James Bond girl, black dress, jewelry, hair, and make-up, complete with cast on her leg, a wrap around her hand, and a pair of crutches. http://histficchick.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/VEsper.jpg http://images.cosplay.com/i/costumes/200/175732.jpg

Endelyn - A princess; Her dress (Well, Addy's dress) is long and blue, and flows out, making it look like a waterfall. The sleeves are long, so she struggles a little to get her hands out from them. Her hair is in a long braid, all done thanks to Laurel.

Flame - Sexy demon. Black leather hotpants, tank top, stiletto boots. Fake horns, tail, and demon wings. Hair in pony-tail, long nails, sharpened teeth.

Justin - completely forgot it was Halloween because he had been holed up in his room since the incident. He used his already sunken and frazzled appearance to base a thrown together zombie costume with a ripped white shirt and dark red marker running down the sides of his mouth and on his shirt, along with blackened rings under his eyes.

Kaider - mad scientist. Punk-styled and a mohawk topped with a lab coat, goggles, flask and tongs. http://elftown.eu/stuff/aj/57/2011062801_XRP_Kaider_l.png (without the lab coat: http://elftown.eu/stuff/aj/57/2011062801_XRP_Kaider.png)

Korvka - saucy pirate. Brown leather tricorn with red feathered plume, lowcut white long-sleeved button up, red-and-white tattered capris, brown leather boots that fold over on the top. Gold hoops in her ears and her hair is tamed into corkscrews that stack on top of each other.

Kyle - Ghost: http://elftown.eu/stuff/kylecoc002.jpg

Laurel - Dorothy Gale goes punk. Laurel donned a blue gingham dress with a white t-shirt underneath. The dress goes down to just below her knee, leaving her sparkly red Converse Hi-Tops in plain view. A blue choker dangles around her neck, the ivory pendant hanging on it shows a Wizard of Oz scene. Her colorful hair is braided and tied with a blue bow.

Light - She is dressed as the bride of Frankenstein, in her own sexy way, wearing a white wedding dress (http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/ad198/Miss_Figgy/weddingdress.jpg?t=1305745201) with an elegant pair of white heels to match (http://72.167.41.109/images/amiclubwear/-heels-helen-3white_3.jpg). Her hair has been dyed black, with a white streak on either side, and her body is decorated in scars circling her joints and running along the sides of her arms and legs, with a scar outlining her face and another, her jaw. Light is wearing simple black eyeliner and mascara and blood red lip gloss.

Lucas - Not really anything, just a ruffled shirt, black shoes, black trousers. (http://ny-image2.etsy.com/il_570xN.162500918.jpg)

Lynn - Full on kitten costume, dressed from head to toe in black fur with paws, cat ears, a tail and adorable face-paint whiskers.

Mihir - Itachi from Naruto, http://www.naruto-pictures.us/uploads/images/Itachi_Posing_Picture.jpg

Nathan - Death The Kid from Soul Eater (http://geeroro.exteen.com/images/__SoulEater_Death_the_Kid___by_rannsama.jpg)

Ricin - Himself because really now, who dresses up in costumes? It's all rather stupid. *grumpy face*

Shade - Vampire.

Teena - a rather typical simple servant costume consisting of a long black dress and a white apron and headpiece. She also has small red devil horns. Her red sneakers peek from under the skirt, not quite fitting the rest of her costume. http://elftown.eu/stuff/aj/57/2011051202_XRP_Teena.png

Valerie - Jeannie, from I Dream of Jeannie: http://elftown.eu/stuff/valcos001.jpg

Virgil - Voodoo Doctor: http://www.fantasyworld1.co.uk/new/sites/default/files/imagecache/product_full/30403.jpg

Vlad - Frankenstein's Monster. Green hands, neck, and face, bolts on the side of his neck, black t-shirt, brown blazer jacket, black jeans and sneakers, clean shaven, a lobotomy scar glued across his forehead, another around his neck, and his black hair slicked down so that it clings to his forehead.

As Vlad pulled out a chair for her at the table, Camille moved to his other side to take a seat, and in the process, planted another kiss on his opposite cheek. Scooting her chair up to the table, the woman relaxed, crossing her legs and folding her hands in her lap, and gave a quick glance around the area. Spotting Light, standing alone and away from Shade and talking to Daniela, of course, Camille smirked, locking eyes with the staring girl. With a tiny wave to Daniela, the girl turned her attention, and body, away from the two and back to the other students at the table, none of whom she really cared to talk to, except for Lucas, one she'd never seen before and who was quite the looker. "Camille," she said with a smug grin, holding her hand out to Lucas after he'd introduced himself to Shana and completely ignoring the zombie hunter. "Isn't it?" she asked cheerily after Lucas commented Vlad's costume, leaning over and snuggling up to his arm possessively. Across the room, she could see Shade standing alone, and was tempted to make her move right then, but decided it was best to warm up to the others before she ruined the party for the couple. Missing the meaning of Kyle's question towards Shana, Camille piped up, cutting the girl off, "So, who all is gonna join the costume contest? Oh, Kyle, don't you have a costume?"

Shana gripped Lucas' hand firmly, giving him a warm smile as he introduced himself. "Nice to meet you, Lucas. Yep, you came on a good day. You'll probably meet everyone!" Although Shana normally found Camille to be mostly tolerable, at the moment, she was proving to be significantly annoying with her flirtatiousness towards guys. While she slobbered all over Vlad's face, the girl scooted her chair a few inches away, getting herself out of the way from any stray spit that might fly through the air and onto her. After Teena took a seat, Shana just raised her eyebrows and thinned out her lips, putting her chin into one hand and shaking her head 'no' in place of responding with something degrading about Camille. She then started to respond to Kyle's question, when the woman's voice interrupted her, and so Shana simply put her hands between her knees and sat quietly, unable to keep a smile on her face when she glanced up to see her best friend still chatting with her sister.

Light locked eyes with Camille when she looked her way, giving her the most threatening glare she could muster, which consequently sent a few tiny sparks flying from her fingertips, a product of the building hate towards the woman. She was so focused on willing the girl's head to spontaneously combust that she missed Daniela's second compliment, and only after a few seconds did the girl's words sink in. "Thanks," she replied curtly, forcing her posture to relax a bit as the brunette turned away from her gaze. "Bold...," she repeated as she finally tore her eyes away from her worst enemy at the mansion, letting her eyes wander around the party hall while she took another sip of the unfortunately unspiked punch and kept herself from marching right over to the resident slut and electrocuting the life out of her. After a moment, she was distracted by the sound of a slightly familiar, cheery voice greeting both her and Daniela, and after finding the course of the voice to be Valerie, who was being followed by Mihir, Light gave the girl a little upwards nod and a simple, "Hey," back, choosing to mostly ignore Mihir since he'd said nothing. Finally, Light looked back in the direction of where she'd left Shade, catching sight of Korvka and Flame leaving the area, followed shortly by Kaider. "A man," she replied simply to Daniela's inquiry about Shade, swirling the red punch gently around in its clear plastic container with her eyes locked on the boy's. "And dangerously unaccompanied," she added, casting a quick glance in Camille's direction to be sure that she wasn't getting ready to pounce on her prey. "So if you'll excuse me, I need to go protect my dinner before a cougar snatches it up for herself. See ya, kiddo." With that, Light picked up both glasses of punch she had poured and made her way toward the X-Men Game Tables.

Smiling at Mihir, Valerie ventured, 'Something wrong?' after taking a good drink of water and noting the shake of his head. With the cup poised in front of her mouth, she glanced in the direction he where he was just looking and took another sip. From the vantage point of the buffet, she saw a tableful of students enjoying themselves, and could see no issue with that, but the blonde also happened to catch sight of Flame, Korvka and then Kaider departing the premises in short succession. Val's serene and amicable expression wavered a bit, and she hoped they'd return at some point-- there was still fun to be had, wasn't there? Setting the now-empty cup back on the table, she lightly drew the thumb and forefinger of her left hand over her bottom lip, starting at the corners of her mouth and converging in the middle, either checking the state of her lipstick or drying off a bit of water that had settled there. 'Looks like we've got the dance floor to ourselves now,' Valerie candidly commented, noticing first from the corner of her eye Endelyn and Justin's lack of presence in that area. 'Want to go... round up some more people to dance?' she asked, her face expectant, although she had been enjoying her time with Mihir; the dance floor just looked so lonely and empty, and she thought it a shame for the expanse to go to waste.

In the interim, Kyle looked back to Shana, and if he had eyebrows, they'd have been arched in rapt anticipation of her answer. He did not, however, so his freckled, amber forehead furrowed alone as he raised his hairless brow while a half-cocked smile graced his lips. When Camille preempted the other girl's answer, the boy shifted his attention back to the woman to see her dangling off of Vlad's arm. Interesting. Despite being his roommate, Kyle wasn't yet privy to the knowledge that he and Flame had broken-up, though it might explain the awful mood the Russian was in earlier today. 'You a goddamn pimp, Vlad,' he said before answering Camille's questions, half joking and half out of admiration. Shaking his head and chuckling through the first few words, Kyle finally responded to the schoolgirl, 'I got a costume,' he said as he picked dismissively at the sheet draped over his chair, and that he was partially sitting on, 'I ain't enterin' no contest, though.' He finished his sentence with a derisive blast of air through his closed lips and a roll of his eyes.

Lucas smiled in response to Shana, "I'd have hoped so, I'm not exactly the most presumptuous person in the world so that may prove troublesome." Lucas shrugged before taking Camille's hand in his, "Nice to meet you, and indeed so, although too cheerful to be a monster, more like a munster." Lucas grinned, he'd seen the show recently played in a pawn shop selling old tv's, until he was asked to leave.

Catching sight of Flame and Korvka (though mostly the former) as they both left, Vlad smiled sheepishly as Camille planted a smooch on his other cheek and then plopped properly into the chair he'd readied for her. Without meaning to, he wiped his cheek where she'd kissed him with his eyes on the door as it closed on the red scaled devil-woman. He wondered where they were going, but part of him could hear the foul words they were throwing around about him. With Flame pissed off and Korvka acting out it was no wonder their friendship was as strong as ever. Fighting the urge to follow them, Vlad was taken aback at the overt snuggling on Camille's part and casually pulled his arm from her grip. He enjoyed the attention but he certainly didn't need any additional drama. "Thank you!" he said with real gratitude as Lucas complimented his bolts and scars, looking up with brows lifted as if he could actually see his own face. Once Lucas and Shana began their pleasantries, Vlad took notice of Kyle, blurting with laughter at the 'pimp' comment. He looked at Camille and then Shana and then Daniela and then back to Kyle, lifting his shoulders to offer a shrug. "Vot can I say?" he asked with a debonaire, lopsided grin that clearly did not mind the "compliment." Snorting as Kyle explained how he wasn't going to get on the stage and partake in the costume contest, all in a tone that suggested he thought about anyone doing it, Vlad laughed and shook his head, genuinely amused. "Kyle is a funny guy," he explained, mostly for Camille's benefit. Grabbing a biscotti from his plate, he bit it in half and looked to the yellow hairless boy before adding "But I kind off like haffing him around," as he wiped crumbs from the corner of his mouth.

Teena nodded to Shana and didn't seem to pay too much attention to Camille and Vlad – if they started drooling again, she'd tell them to get a room. She looked a little lazily at Kyle as he expressed his enthusiasm about not entering the contest. "Really? Then you won't be able to win anything! But ARE there prizes anyhow? Does anyone know?"

"No," Mihir responded to Val's question. "Just watching the whole group congregating. No one is really trying to mingle with anyone else." He was of course referring to the predisposition of certain individuals to cling to one another. Namely the intrusive female that was eyeing all the men. He shook his head again and shrugged. "But dancing sounds like a plan." Setting his cup aside, he nodded and looked over towards the large group. Then he spotted Addy over by the door. "Maybe someone should invite her to dance, too." Though he wasn't fond of the blue girl, this was a party after all, and Val wanted a crowd on the dance floor.

'Oh! ohmygoodness, I didn't even know she was back!' Valerie said as she glanced to where Mihir indicated, and as if she was responsible for keeping tabs on everyone at all times. She would really like to ask Daniela and Shana to join them, especially since the former was in the vicinity of the buffet, but Val had witnessed an unfortunate and heated exchange between the black-haired girl and Mihir a couple of weeks ago, and was unsure of the status of their relationship. 'You don't mind do you?' she asked, returning her attention to the boy, and as he set his cup on the table, she extended her hand to gently alight her fingertips on the back of his hand. She smiled vaguely while awaiting his reply-- it was terribly difficult to read him, since most of the time he was quite serious, and it appeared that he closing-up again despite the light-heartedness of his demeanor and actions just minutes ago on the dance floor.

"Oh.. well.. bye!" said Daniela in response to Light taking off to meet Shade, the whole, dinner analogy going straight over the girl's head. She stayed by the buffet table, quiet for a bit and trying to straighten out the owl on the top of her broom as she watched Light meet Shade over by the game tables. Korvka, Flame and Mihir also went by in the meantime, all people with whom she didn't have the best relationship with. It was almost like the return to the table where Vlad and Shana were, and hence, safety, was a game of frogger. And the people Daniela didn't get along with were cars. Once it seemed like Mihir was gonna return to the dance floor with Valerie and Korkva and Flame had left the party, the girl quickly made her way to the table were most of the students had congregated, scurrying along the hall like a scared mouse. "Back!" she announced as she sat next to her roommate, two places to the left of Vlad and Camille. "Uhm.. hi." she said to Camille, nodding and giving her a tiny wave and polite smile. Then she repeated the same gesture towards Lucas, without the actual words, since she wasn't sure if she'd said hi to the new students before, she just didn't remember meeting him. "Sooo... what are we up to?" she asked, a bit more confident having her friends close to her.

Teena suddenly dug out her vibrating phone from a very difficult to access pocket and answered it. "Not now! ...What?!" Teena stared at a plate of candy in shock for a moment. "Father... mother?! I, uh..." She got up suddenly and almost knocked over her chair. She looked very briefly at the others. "Excuse me!" she said, sounding worried, and scuttered out of the room and into X-Men Hall Complex while talking into her phone.

Laurel picked her head up from the table where she had drifted off, when Teena made her hasty exit. Her energy sucking shifting was a real pain, she needed to work on that. When she looked around her she realized there where all new people around her. "Wha-?" When she got her barrings she realized she was still at the party. Figuring it was useless to stay at the party if she was falling asleep she stood up. "Uh, See you later guys. Happy Halloween." With a wimpy wave she walked out of the Hall to the X-Men Hall Complex, looking forward to a good nights sleep.

As a song was ending on the dance floor, the loud music was cut short and the room's intercom buzzed to life and a quick announcement was made by Jean: "Attention students, in ten minutes, the costume contest will begin. If you are interested in participating, please make your way to the stage near the games now. Three winners will be chosen by the teaching staff and will receive prizes according to their placement, either first, second, or third. If you are not interested in participating, you are also most welcome to watch. Thank you." Once the announcement was over, the loud music began playing once more.

Korvka stepped in just in time to hear the tail end the Jean's announcement, and looked slyly over to Flame with a nearly untraceable grin on her lips. "Perfect timing," she whispered in pure satisfaction. Looking around, Korvka saw that Camille was still super-glued to her brother's side and that the shrimpy witch and her dyke lover were around him as well. "Vy don't ve get a bit off food," she suggested after a bit of a look around, trying to find a reason to linger near the pumpkin patch that was currently disguising her party favors. With everyone watching, she couldn't very well set up, so instead she would kill time until most everyone made their way to the stage. Sauntering over to the punch bowl, she ladeled herself a scoop into a bright red party cup and then made another one for Flame.

"I am not one to ever turn down food." Flame answered as she accompanied Korvka to the tables, taking the drink when offered to her.

After handing Flame the punch, Korvka turned around and leaned on the table, looking around for something that didn't bore her to tears as she took a swig of punch and then placed the cup down. Since the people at the table were so enthralled with one another she didn't think twice about eying them all, watching them make merry with each other. Lucky for her, she was in a sour mood most of the time and it wouldn't appear out-of-character for her to be brooding off to the side in the company of her first friend. "Did you bring the vodka or did you finish it?" she asked, still watching the party, though she leaned her head in Flame's direction as she spoke.

"What a silly question!" Flame cried as she picked through the food on the table, occasionally popping a piece into her mouth and chewing. "Of course I did. What do you take me for?" Aiming a grin at Korvka before flinging an arm around the other girl's shoulders and giving her a squeeze of a hug.

"You're right, silly me," she said, grinning a bit at the she-devil as she searched for food. "I don't know ver you put it though," she added, mockingly looking Flame from head to toe to see if there was perhaps a bottle sticking out of somewhere unexpected. Mirroring what happened that morning, Korvka stiffened as Flame gave her an impromptu hug. For a flashing second she was as rigid and wide eyed as a corpse but then, just as quickly, she exhaled a sigh and released the tension, allowing Flame to squeeze just a little harder. "You think I'd be used to those by now," she said, poking a bit of fun at herself as she reached behind her to grab the punch and take a sip. With her eyes back on Vlad, Daniela, Camille, and Shana, the Russian nodded her chin to them and then lazily lolled her head to the side to look at Flame. "Vot do you think they're tolking about? How great the costumes are? How great the party is? How much fun they're having together?" she mused, her voice tinged with bitterness that she didn't bother to hide. In her current company, Korvka could be the most herself.

Camille forced a out flirtatious giggle at Lucas' simple joke about Vlad, giving the boy a huge smile even as Vlad pulled his arm away from her grip. "That's too bad, Kyle. I bet you would've placed in at least the top three," the woman replied rather sarcastically, though her intent was for Kyle to believe he had been complimented. Then, when Vlad tried to explain Kyle's behavior, Camille simply gave the Russian man a polite smile and nod, adding a tiny giggle to signal that she both understood and appreciated the yellow boy's behavior, though in all honesty, she could have cared less. As Daniela made her way over, the woman was courteous enough to reply to the raven haired girl with a "Hello," just before Laurel and Teena stood and headed out of the party. Now bored with the conversation at the table, especially since one of her key targets seemed to be showing less interest in her than usual, Camille glanced around the entirety of the party room, and ignoring every other student around, her eyes locked on Shade, now accompanied by Light, standing near the stage and a smirk appeared on her face. "I'm gonna go enter the contest guys, see ya later!" she declared before standing up and walking over to X-Men Game Tables, intentionally swinging her hips as her heels clicked on the hard floor.

Shana continued to sit, hands tucked away between her knees, staring quietly at the table while everyone else around her joked. Why was it that Light could have a normal conversation with her sister's best friend, but not with her own sister? Shana merely gave a simple wave and a half hearted smile to both Teena and Laurel as they left the party, barely even aware of the reasons why the two girls were leaving, and finally when Daniela returned to the table, Shana looked up and immediately stuck her hand in her plate of food, grabbing a handful of chips and stuffing them into her mouth. While she chewed, the girl decided she wouldn't let things get her down, especially at a party she'd been looking forward to for months. Then, as Camille left and the announcement for the costume competition was made, Shana swallowed, her mood lightening as she smiled at her roommate and said, "Do you wanna go join the competition, Dani? I bet you'd kick some ass with your costume!"

Looking briefly but genuinely surprised by Vlad's remark, Kyle cracked the vaguest of smiles as he tipped his chair forward onto its two back legs, since he was still seated the wrong way 'round. His attention wavered in Teena's direction-- one moment she was encouranging entrance into the costume contest, the next she was on her phone and on her way our of the hall, with Laurel close on her heels. As if to drive the point home, he rolled his eyes and shook his as the costume contest was announced during a pause in the music. Camille's cloying comment brought his yellow-eyed gaze back to the saucy schoolgirl. With the way his freckled nose wrinkled-up, it looked like the boy smelled something disagreeable, but his distaste of her sugar-coated acerbic attitude didn't keep him from gluing his eyes to her shortly clad backside as she clicked away in those fancy shoes of hers. 'What's she all about, anyway?'

When the costume contest was announced, Valerie beamed a smile, her expression brightening considerably; she didn't entirely forget about rounding-up dancers to fill the floor, but her focus certainly shifted. After the contest would really be the perfect time to get those who remained in the hall dancing. 'You going to go up?' she gently inquired of the increasingly solemn Mihir, and her eager expression softened slightly. She already had her assumptions, but it didn't hurt to ask. Not to single him out, and considering that she and her former dance partner were standing in the same general vicinity of the beverages as Flame and Korvka, Val looked in the girls' direction. She was out of earshot, but it appeared as if the pirate and the demon were sharing a private conversation, so the blonde waited a couple of patient moments before piping-up, hoping to interject, 'Costume contest?' during a lull between words.

Addy let out a sigh. She had been about to go upstairs and sulk about tonight's events, but as it stood, she wanted to be in the costume contest. Balancing on her crutches, she made her way past the tables and towards the X-Men Game Tables.

With a smile at Valerie, Mihir shook his head. "I am not going to enter. But I will watch and see who wins." He gave her a nod. "You should enter, though." Mihir looked over at Korvka and Flame as Val addressed them. He hadn't really spoken to Korvka since earlier, and he had really messed that one up. So now he just waited.

"Aw, I'll train you into getting use to it, don't you worry." Flame started off light before giving a sad sigh at Korvka's bitterness. She hated seeing her friend so unhappy and only wanted to tighten the hug, but resisted in doing so. "Don't worry about them, just think of the fun we will have from this, especially considering how it will end." Her grin turning nasty as she watched their scapegoat take her paws off Vlad and head for the game tables. She didn't think if anything happen between her and Vlad that she would be this upset, but having Camille's emphasis on what she no longer had was making her blood boil. But then again, if Vlad really had such bad taste in his next bed-buddy it wasn't her problem. Yet she still wanted to be friends with the big idiot, even if she was angry with him for the moment.

Vlad waved as Camille went off, managing to ignore the swing of her little hips and the way her skirt swished with every step she took. The sarcasm of her comment hadn't missed him and he found himself surprised by such crass behavior from someone who had always seemed so polite and well-mannered. Laughing, the green Frankenstein just shrugged a shoulder at Kyle. "Who knows," he replied. Looking over at Shana as she seemed a touch lost in her thoughts, looking downtrodden at the very least. He extended his index and poked her gently on the arm to stir her attention, but before he had the chance to do a bit of nonverbal investigation, Daniela had returned. "Velcome back!" he said with a smile, leaning on his hand as he pulled his finger away from Shana so as not to bring any unwanted attention to the Zombie Hunter. "You two should both enter," he suggested to the roommates. "I know I am..." his voice trailed away as he saw Flame and Korvka standing together, seemingly closer tonight than he'd seen them in a while. He was unable to stop himself from staring with a touch of longing at the red-scaled . He kind of missed her. Already. What an effing wuss. Standing, he looked at his friends and smiled. "I'll see you guys on stage. I hope you all participate!" he said. And then, he cleared his throat and began walked over to Flame and Korvka, looking at his sister and then to Flame, his eyes apologetic. "I vos hoping you'd like to dance," he said, extending a hand to Flame.

Korvka chuckled softly at Flame. Out of everyone in the mansion, she was the only one Korvka accepted touch from - and the only one who attempted touch. "You're right, I'll just..." she cut off her sentence hastily as she noticed Vlad oafing towards them, wondering just what the hell he wanted. When he asked Flame to dance her eyebrows flew upward, surprised at the gall he had to just waltz up to Flame after spending shameless time with that damn slut, Camille. Knowing what she did about what happened between her brother and best friend, Korvka sighed and turned around to grab her glass of punch. She gave Flame a little look and then walked over to Valerie and Mihir. "Allo," she said in casual greeting, looking to Valerie and then Mihir and back to the perky blonde again. "Vot did you need?" she asked Valerie, having seen a bit of anticipation in the girl's stance.

Well thank you for up and vanishing Korvka, Flame guessed she would be stuck doing this alone. "What, Camille turn you down?" Her voice a little more of a snap to it then she originally planned it to have. Hell, how would he had liked it if she was fawning all over one of the guys the night that they broke up? The fact he had blatantly ignored her earlier still rubbed her the wrong way. That, or she was spending too much time with Korvka.

Flame's biting remark caught Vlad off guard and he did a double take, as if he'd been smacked in the face. Camille? So she must have mistaken the older woman's attention for something else. Her vitriol stung but, taking a deep breath, he exhaled any retort and let his hand drop. She clearly wasn't going to take it. However, he was far from giving up and shook his head at her comment. "I didn't ask her," he replied simply. "I vonted to talk to you. About this morning, ven ve both overreacted," he said seriously, unable to let any more of the day go by wishing he could say something and sort out his feelings when the one they were aimed towards was so close. He held out his hand again to her, but this time he did not wait for her to take it. After all day of speculating and wondering and trying to make the best of it, Vlad decided to take action. Grabbing her hand in his, he pulled her towards him so that she bumped into his chest, his other hand wrapping around her waist. "Now let's dance," he said, beginning to walk towards the dance floor, intending to take her with him whether she wanted to go or not.

Before today this position would instantly get Flame's blood pumping, the man was a hunk, there was no way he couldn't be attractive to her, but now, with emotions high and part of a bottle of vodka in her, she was not happy. Pulling her lips back into a snarl she growled out, "Let me go." Trying to dig her heels in, despite her knowing it was useless against his strength. "I thought we could have been civil about this, that even if we were both pissed or angry or sad or whatever, we could of talked it over and at least still be friends. But clearly, as soon as I was out of your bed you didn't even want to look at me. Go and play with your little girl squad instead."

Vlad could smell the liquor on her breath and instantly knew why she and Korvka had disappeared. The two of them had probably gone to knock back a few and then return - so much for that vodka being for her reeds. His jaw tightened. "No," he answered, not looking at her as she growled her command and tried to dig her tall, suggestive heels into the floor in resistance. She carried on and revealed her feelings, more emotional than he recalled her ever being and stopped suddenly, shooting his grey gaze just a few inches south to meet her black orbs. He was silent for a moment, caught up in the anger he saw in her face, his large hand immobile on her back to keep her close. To any onlookers who were unable to see Flame's face then it could be easily misinterpreted that the two were simply sharing another tender embrace, but her expression killed any romantic notions. "I don't know vot you vont," he finally said, his voice low and stern as his irritation started to climax. "I called you my girl this morning and you treated me like a leper. I try to giff you space today and all off a sudden I vont some other girl?" he asked, looking hard at her, his face lined with hard edges that were rarely seen given his pension to smile rather than frown.

"I wanted fun, I thought that was what we were about." Well when he put it like that Flame did feel stupid, but hell if she was going to let him win that way. "I didn't expect you to spring that on me. But you're right, go and play with whoever you want, who am I to stop you?" At least she had calmed enough to stop snarling, although her look at him was still cold.

Vlad stiffened a bit upon hearing that she was only using him for fun, even up until the end. His lip twitched and his scowl deepened, enhancing his monstrous appearance that the green paint, bolts, and scars created. "Things changed from how they started. At least for me," he replied angrily, tightening his grip on her so that her front was smashed into his chest; a reminder of how well they fit together.

Ok, this could get bad. "Look, you want to talk about this? Then fine, we can talk about it, but not when you might break me in half instead of hold me. I would rather not have to grow back half my body, so loosen up on the grip." Had things changed for her during their time? Well, he was a friend, as he was before but... more so. But was she ready to lay out the rest of her life with him? No. Not with him or anyone yet.

His unyielding grip slackened as she agreed to talk with him, his arm dropping from around her back and grazing over her pert bum as he pulled it away. Vlad couldn't quite help himself from copping a little feel. After a day like today his usual manner of cheering up was to spend time in her bed or his, so he blamed it on habit. Or downright cheekiness. Or to prove to her that he wasn't interested in some little twig like Camille. Whichever. He looked over to the dance floor and realized that there wasn't much talking to be had there, what with the loud music. Still, there were too many people at the tables and too many people going towards the costume competition. He jerked his head towards the very end of the long buffet table, where they would be well out of earshot of Korvka and anyone else who didn't need to know their business. "Let's tolk, then," he said, walking over to the table's end, where the plates and silverware were. He stood closer to the food, grabbing a handful of Chex Mix from a huge bowl and snacking. "Vot do I mean to you?" he asked shortly, cutting straight to the chase.

Flame had actually meant they could talk in the morning, but apparently she wasn't getting out of this that easy. With a sigh she followed after Vlad, taking up another cup of punch as she did. Cringing a little at the question as carefully crossed her arms so not to spill the drink. "Well hell Vlad, I doubt it anything you want to hear." Stubbornly sticking out her bottom lip for a long moment she gave a sigh. "...But I'm sorry how I freaked out, just... didn't expect that being brought up."

Nothing I want to hear... "You're going to tell me after I..." Vlad cut off, a trend as of late apparently, wondering just how to word his thoughts so that he didn't sound like a total pig. However, he was unable to find any better phrase so he just blurted out, "came inside you," his voice hushed, eyes shifting from side to side to make sure that they were well out of eavesdropping distance. Once he was sure, he settled back on her wholly-black gaze. "...that you didn't start to feel anything? You don't let just anyvon do that...?" he pressed incredulously, hoping that he could trust the sliver of his gut that told him they had something special.

Despite the seriousness of the situation Flame couldn't help but laugh at his attempt at subtly. "Of course I don't let 'just anyone' do that Vlad, I'm not an idiot. You're not a one night stand," She really wanted to stay angry at him, for him being an idiot and ruining a good thing, but it was becoming difficult to do so. "I trust you, you're one of my best friends. What we had was special, but it wasn't 'take home to meet the parents' special. It was close friends who are attracted to each other." She aimed a soft smile up at him. "I didn't realize I was leading you on in a girlfriend kind of way, I never intended it to be like that."

Vlad listened, initially hopeful, only to have his heart crushed for the second time that day. Just a friend. Not his girlfriend. What they had. "So that's it, then," he sighed, his eyes started to glaze over as the reality of finality hit him square in the chest like a sack of potatoes. He laughed hollowly and dropped the rest of his handful of Chex Mix back into the bowl, suddenly without appetite. "Ahh shit," he grumbled, looking away to salvage what was left of his dignity. Of course she had to be so nice about it this time - she could've at least had the decency to shit on his heart and be a total cunt about it, but no, she had to pull the 'you're one of my best friends' card. "My mistake, then," he said, the brief moment of hurt on his face scabbing over into something tougher as he willed himself to keep it together. This was a party, after all. "I'll see you around then," he said, looking at her and then turning away, dusting his hand on his blazer as he headed to X-Men Game Tables to see what this costume contest was all about. Something. Anything to get away from that conversation and the realization that he was, without a doubt, the biggest idiot in the mansion.

Well damnit all to hell. Flame's shoulders tightened up as her head dropped down, looking down at the floor in front of her, numb to her surroundings around her. Once again she managed to hurt Vlad without meaning it. This is why she hated relationships, someone always got hurt. "Shit." Clenching her teeth she squared up her shoulders, forcing herself to shake off her emotions, at least until the party was over. The night had already gone to hell well before it started, so it was fitting it would end in such a way too.

"Uhm.. byeee." said Daniela sheepishly first to Teena and then Laurel. Soon after, and before she could even react, more people deserted the table, first Camille and then Vlad. Eventually, only herself, Shana and Kyle were left sitting at the previously crowded table. "Dunno if I'm ready for something like that." chuckled Daniela rather nervously when her roommate suggested participating in the contest. After all, getting up in stage next to Shana and Camille, maybe even Light, all while wearing a corset was a bit too much for her. Still, there was something in the girl's tone that made it seem like she was at least curious and not completely opposed, if a bit to shy to take the challenge head on. Trying to distract her roommate, she immediately noticed the only other person around was Kyle. It was weird since Kyle had consistently avoided her and Shana, not like Daniela had been making a huge effort to hang out with the kid either. Though Kyle scared the raven haired girl for the same reasons Flame did, she knew this was rather silly of her, so she offered the yellow boy the best smile she could and waved. "Hey! Haven't really talked since like.. uhm.. ever." hoping this was enough to distract her roommate and get over her slight fear of Kyle.

'Ohhh,' Valerie replied, a touch disappointed but not at all surprised, when Mihir said he was declining entrance into the costume contest. Her bubblegum-pink lips remained pursed for a moment, but the corner of her mouth pulled-up into a half smile when he suggested that she should go and said that he would watch from the sidelines. Val glanced back to, and momentarily past, Korvka when she approached, a vague expression of interest twitching across her facial features as Vlad and Flame interacted a ways down the buffet table. 'Ohhh, it was nothing, I was just wondering...' It looked like the genie was debating whether or not she was going to continue, '...you know... arrrrr you going to enter the contest?' She did nothing for a moment except push her mouth shut into a tight line; perhaps she regretted her corny and hackneyed question. Val broke into a stifled smile, however, and raised then lowered her eyebrows in a manner that suggested the blonde thought that Korvka should enter.

Kyle watched his roommate, which was really the only reason he sat down in the vicinity of the table in the first place, amble away, while balancing on the front legs of his chair as he rocked forward. He swayed back and forth gently continually on his carefully perched seat, or at least until Daniela, curiously enough, piped-up. Upon the address, he lost his balance, as if taken by surprise, and the legs slammed back down onto the floor. It was a bit cumbersome to communicate, with the music and the purposeful but small bit of distance Kyle had put between himself and the table, but he made no effort to get any closer. 'You mean you ain't seen me since the night y'all tricked me into comin' here?' he said flatly; there was no accusation nor any animosity in his tone, he spoke as if it were a plain fact. He zeroed in on the witch, whom he did not particularly trust, then shrugged. Each in their own way, Shana, Vlad and Valerie had made a marked effort to try and welcome him, and now it seemed like Daniela was also enterprising to do so, even if it was almost a month after the fact. 'Guess there's not much to talk about anyway.'

As a sort of half-assed greeting, Korvka looked up at Mihir in his strange navy jumpsuit and headband and nodded her head a bit before returning her attention to her overly-pink pal. Hiking a confused brow at Val's hesitation, the sour Russian was caught off guard by the sudden silliness of her question and was unable to stop a blurt of genuine laughter from escaping her mouth, complete with a small smile at the unspoken suggestion that she get on stage. The girl's behavior warmed up Korvka's bitter stoicism and she found herself relaxing, her shoulders becoming less rigid and her face suddenly more pliant, as if Val had woken a stone statue. "I don't think so. I forgot my hat upstairs and don't haff time to go get it," she lied, her tone casual and convincing as she looked over her shoulder to where Flame and Vlad had, apparently, parted. Good. Looking back to Val and the silent Mihir, Korvka took a sip of her punch and held her elbows under her bust in a comfortable position, one hand cocked out to grip her red plastic cup. "You should though. It'll probably come down to you and Light for the vin," she suggested honestly.

As Kyle questioned about Camille, Shana also shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes, not caring much about the woman's motives. Just as she began scooping some more snacks into her mouth, this time a handful of trail mix and a tiny cube of cheddar cheese, she felt a tiny poke on her shoulder, and with a full mouth, she turned to look at Vlad. However, his attention had already been diverted, so she simply raised her eyebrows and turned back to Dani. "Oh, uh, I thought about it," she said in response to Vlad's suggestion after she'd swallowed the food in her mouth, leaning forward in her chair and resting her elbows on the table. With her head resting in her hands, she added, "You could win the whole thing, Vlad." With another glance at the big Russian, she noticed he was distracted, and following his line of sight, she spotted Flame. Unaware of any tension between the two, Shana simply waved back and called out, "See ya!" as the man left the table. Turning back to Dani and Kyle, she sat quietly with a small grin as Dani attempted to befriend the boy and they exchanged a few awkward words. "Well, I wouldn't call it 'tricking' you," she said to Kyle, popping another chip into her mouth. "We just... persuaded you. Kind of. But hey, you don't regret it do you?" Shana then sat straight up once more, nudging her friend in the arm gently with her elbow. "Come oooon, Dani, you've probably got the best costume here! If it'll help, I'll get up there with you." She offered the little witch a smile as she hooked her own arm through the girl's, leaning in and asking, "Pleeeease?"

Once Korvka's detached exterior cracked as she laughed, Valerie allowed herself to laugh outright along with the Russian, a brief but thoroughly amused burst of amusement punctuated by a couple of snorts at the end. Val promptly clamped her hand over her mouth, self-conscious as she was of that involuntarily habit, and regained her composure but maintained her joviality. 'Ohhh, that's really a shame. Hat or no hat, you'd still be a contender, ' she said, and sincerely meant it, though she by no means wanted to make her friend feel bad about the decision. The genie cast Mihir a glance as not to shut him out of the conversation then nodded in acknowledgement of Korvka's comment about Light. Her attention darted toward the game tables, where the electrically-gifted girl had been earlier, then drifted about the area of the hall until she located Light in the area of the dance floor. A smiled flickered over her lips as she also spied Addy and Vlad sharing a most endearing, albeit peculiar, slow dance. 'That dress she's wearing is pretty darn fantastic,' she said without equivocation.

Though Daniela was usually shy and as jumpy as a baby deer there were other elements of her personality that normally only people she really trusted could see. Sometimes, bits of that would shine through her usual demeanor, like Kyle's snappy response to her attempts. "Well it must not be so bad if you haven't gone back to the dumpster." she replied cordially, the polite smile she had been sporting before still on her face. But almost immediately, she leaned back on her chair and her face went extremely red. As the girl slowly retreated to her chair, however, she was distracted by her roommate, still embarrassed, she replied in a bit of a brain addled state. "Uhm.. uh..." she began to say a bit confused, her blue eyes opening big for a moment as she tried to come up with an answer. "Uhhhhm... I guess.. ok.. sure.. why not." added Daniela in a tiny string of voice after a quick glance towards Kyle, clutching her broom and letting her witch hat hide her eyes.

When Shana gave her take of his arrival to the mansion, Kyle screwed his lips up, and twisted them about as if he were swishing something around his mouth-- it didn't look like the boy quite agreed with her recollection of events-- and he shrugged one shoulder and gave a mumbled, mealy-mouthed response. Though his quality of living had bettered exponentially in the past couple of weeks, he certainly didn't want to give anyone the idea that he found his new accomodations pretty cozy, and he honestly never minded roughing it. Besides, he could never get too comfortable anywhere for too long since he always felt like he had to move on at some point. Comfort was typically followed by boredom, which was followed by trouble for the young man. When Daniela offered her own saucy, however politely spoken, reply, Kyle muttered, 'I'll put you inna goddamn dumpster.' His peculiar eyes darted in the black-haired girl's direction as she appeared suddenly stricken and at a loss for words while responding to her roommate. 'What you wiggin' out for now?' he questioned as if her sudden change in demeanor was positively contemptable.

As Valerie's good mood permeated the air around her like some type of air freshener, Korvka just shook her head, corkscrews bouncing, and gave what seemed to be the least begrudging smile of the night. "You are so sunny, Val. I don't know vy it doesn't piss me off," she said honestly, knowing full well her tendency to prefer friends on the darker side of the spectrum, "but it doesn't," she finished with a definitive nod. Lifting her cup a bit, she toasted the genie with a little tilt of her head, saying something that sounded like 'za tee-bya' and then took a drink. As the punch went down she could still taste the residual bflavor of the few shots she'd had earlier. The blonde's considerate glance at Mihir and scope about the room gave Korvka the perfect opportunity to furtively search for Camille, moving her eyes only as she positioned her head towards the game tables and dancing area. Looking back as Val mentioned Light's dress, the Russian simply gave a slight smile with her eyes closed, acknowledging the truth in what she said. "It is certainly flashy," she replied, casting a final look at the dance floor, where her dopey brother was dipping Addy and Light was tangled with her slimy boyfriend.

Mihir was more or less ignoring what the others were saying. He had wanted to dance with Valerie some more, but the untimely interruptions that were happening were starting to irk him slightly. In addition to that, Korvka, who had earlier been nice, was ignoring him for the most part. Mihir shook it off and refilled his cup, giving Val a weak nod as she looked his way.

At first, Valerie only raised her eyebrows in unison at Korvka's comment. However, a compliment was a compliment, and, considering that the Russian was a hard nut to crack, the blonde smiled in earnest and laughed lightly. 'I do what I can, but I won't, you know, quit my day job,' she said with a modest half-shrug as she traced a fingertip around the lip of her plastic cup. After a glance in the direction of the stage, Val cocked her head toward what was announced as the contest area and her sleek pony tail swayed gracefully in response to each movement of her head. She added, 'I wonder which teachers will be judging the costumes?', not necessarily expecting her current company to provide the answer. 'Well, maybe I'll mosey on over there...' she said lastly, a sort of unspoken invitation for Korvka and/or Mihir to accompany her, half-filled her cup with the blood red punch and slipped off toward the X-Men Game Tables.

Korvka smiled as Valerie, in all her modesty, accepted the compliment with grace and then deflected the attention away from herself. The pirate's smile was not as bright as the 100 megawatt smile that the genie was flashing but the gentle upward curve of her lips was a veritable leap towards the light in her case. Korvka looked over as Val nodded towards the stage and was suddenly struck with that very question herself. Obviously, Jean would be the best choice to adjudicate, which could put her little prank at somewhat of a disadvantage. "Jean," she answered definitively through a small sigh, but when she looked back to the blonde she added, "probably" just in case. Her eyes then fell to the table where Kyle, Shana, and Daniela were seated. She offered a "see you at the contest," as Valerie disappeared and then had another idea. Setting her cup down, she began to make herself a plate of food. She grabbed apple slices, berries, a dollop of yogurt, a few crackers, and an assortment of vegetables and then grabbed her cup and walked over to the targeted table. "Mind iff I sit?" she asked, looking at Shana, then Daniela, then Kyle before pulling out a seat across from the girls and setting her plate down.

Shana couldn't help but let out a friendly chuckle at her roommate's slip up in her normally quiet reserved demeanor, and she squeezed her arm as a friendly gesture with the intent to, hopefully, comfort the girl. "Put a sock in it, Kyle," she said, standing up and letting go of Dani's arm before she threw her hands up in the air and stretched, raising herself onto her toes as he shirt raise a bit to expose even more of her tummy. "You love it here and you know it. Free board and food AND milkshakes, courtesy of yours truly," she added with a small, cocky grin. "Yay!" she exclaimed in a cheery, tiny voice when Daniela, seemingly a bit out of confusion, agreed to join the contest with her. Letting her arms fall back to her sides, Shana reached out and took Daniela's hand, tugging her towards herself dramatically in an effort to get her out of her seat as she explained, with a hint of whininess in her voice, "We need to go to the staaaage, Dani!" However, just as she was pulling her friend away toward the game tables, Korvka approached and tore Shana's attention away from tugging on her friend. "Uhm, yeah, but we're leaving," she replied, hooking her thumb over her shoulder in the direction of the game tables. "You should join the contest, too!" she added as she began dragging Dani off towards X-Men Game Tables.

Daniela was about to reply to Kyle when her roommate pretty much said everything she would've said to the yellow boy has she been able to muster the courage faster. As Korvka approached them, the girl gave her a gentle smile and replied, "Not at all." trying to make nice with her. Sometimes the raven haired girl was oblivious to things going on around her, or took a long time to realize these facts, but she had noticed Korvka glaring at her a few times in the last few weeks, which worried her a bit. Suddenly, though, Daniela's roommate tugged on her hand, trying to drag her off, which managed to yank the petite girl out of her chair. "Ok ok!" she said, barely grabbing her broom as she was pulled towards the stage area, a bit like a rag doll. "Bye guys!" she said to Kyle and Korvka, waving the little plastic owl on top of her broomstick.

Finding himself to be drifting in and out of focus, Lucas's head slowly turned to look about the room, as his finger traced the ring of a cup of water on the table. The surrounding events held nothing upon his thoughts as his ears filled with a dull lull in sound. Blinking a few times he came back to reality, feeling he'd missed something as he looked around the table.

When Korvka approached the table and asked if she could join them, Kyle only shrugged-- Shana and Daniela had already responded and he didn't really care one way or the other. 'You don't know the first thing 'bout what I think, Shana,' he drawled, as petty as ever and positively rankled. 'Git outta here, go enter yer lame-ass contest,' he muttered, rolling his eyes. As no one could ever accuse him of being overly mature, he added, 'I hope you lose' for good measure.

Get a grip girl, have some fun tonight and forget about it. Giving herself a shake and straightening herself up, Flame planted a smile on her face. After all, from her view of the dance floor she could see Vlad was at least pretending to have a good time, she should too. Swaying her way over to join Korvka once again (it was easier to find comfort in someone she was close to than some of the random kiddies) she let out an 'oooh' at Kyle's comment, having caught the end of it. "Oh my, that's a little mean, don't you think?" Adding a grin to go along with it, as after all, she and Korvka were planning something much worse than a bitter remark for those on the stage.

Korvka was grinning evilly on the inside at Daniela's reaction to her, though outwardly she returned the smile with a nod of acknowledgement. Perhaps she needed to pretend to be nice more often, especially when she was planning mischief. That was the point of going over to the table in the first place - to seem somewhat less likely to have planned such a prank. As Shana thumbed towards the stage and pulled Dani away, the Russian simply nodded and offered a small, believable smile as the black-haired girl waved with the top of her broomstick, owl bobbling. "See you at the stage, then," she replied as the two girls left, leaving only Korvka and Kyle at the table. She let out a huffy, superior laugh at Kyle's sour comment, and then looked up from her plate of apple slices as Flame approached and mockingly scolded the yellow-baldy's crummy attitude. "Sorry I ditched," she explained, looking up and leaning back in her chair to see her devilishly bedecked friend. "But I thought that conversation vos best had vith me far, far gone."

Kyle, annoyed at recently exchanged comments and becoming increasingly bored, tore a couple of pieces off of his paper napkin, balled them up between his fingertips and tossed them in Lucas's direction, just to see if he was paying attention. He seemed like a pretty easy target, so why not? When Flame reacted mockingly to the yellow mutant's petty remark, however, he redirected his aim and flicked a little papery ball at her, instead. 'I reckon I don't give a good goddamn about being know for niceties.' He glanced in the direction of and narrowed his eyes at Korvka's derisive reaction, though he just fell into a tenuous silence. The boy pitched forward onto the back legs of his chair again, overtly curious as to what the Russian was referring.

"Oh, so young to be so cynical." Flame put on a pout, aimed at Kyle as she continued to tease him. Not that she really should, but hell, tonight wasn't a good night, and he was just the first target in front of her. Really, she shouldn't blame him, she got where he was coming from. "But then again," She continued as she took up an empty seat. "Considering how bitchy life is, better to hit it first then let it hit you." Giving a sigh Flame then answered Korvka. "Trust me, I wanted to get ditch too... but a bit harder for me to do it thank you."

Korvka looked over when she saw Kyle's arm extend, her face blank with disinterest as she watched the balled up napkins bullets sail towards Lucas, or whatever the dude's name was. She lifted a brow as he flicked another at Flame and then rolled her eyes at the boyish sour attitude. Leaning against her hand with an elbow on the table, she picked up an apple slice and inspected it with a bored expression as Flame took a seat nearby. "As you can tell, baldy's not yellow for sunshine. More like jaundice and pestilence," she stated with the dry sarcasm of a practiced pessimist. Turning her head from Kyle to behold Flame, Korvka's expression shattered into something more human and sympathetic. "You all right? Vos it that bad?"

Lucas flinched as his thoughts were interrupted by the balls of paper flying his way. A few caught him on the forehead and he frowned in the direction of his attacker. "It seems they don't teach manners here, when you want someone's attention try using words, they've worked for thousands of years now I don't see why your case is any different." Lucas looked on disapprovingly, not keen on acts of childishness.

After an obnoxiously sarcastic smile and a falsely modest shrug as if to say yep! that's me!, Kyle tipped forward again and proceeded to rock slowly but continually on the legs of his backwards chair. He opened his mouth for what was likely to be another trite, immature retort to either Korvka or Flame when Lucas piped-up. The boy grinned--maybe he had a live one this time-- and settled his yellow-eyed gaze upon the young man in the frilly white shirt. 'This ain't no school for eddy-ket,' he snorted, his freckled brow furrowed in unjustified contempt. 'And, 'sides, in case you hadn't noticed, this is a party. You supposed to interact with people and crap,' he finished, regardless of the irony of his own words.

"Oh, you know, the normal," Flame concentrated on Korvka's question, ignoring the bickering between the boys for the moment. "Breaking your brother's heart apparently." Damn him for messing up what they had. However she put on a smile for her friend. "Ah well, life was going to smoothly anyways, something had to cause a bump sooner or later."

"As clearly displayed by your behaviour." Lucas finished with an exasperated sigh, crossing his arms and putting them on the table, looking around the hall as the guy came back with a retort. "Well, throw a kid in the deep end and there's a higher chance he'll drown before he swims." Lucas turned his gaze back.

Mihir took a final drink from his cup before setting it on the table. He moved away from the banquet, putting some more distance between himself and Korvka, and walked over to the X-Men Game Tables.

As Lucas rose to Kyle's barrage of napkin projectiles, Korvka slid her gaze over towards the ruffly shirted Fabio, rolling her eyes and wondering why he was bothering with a lesson on manners with someone like Kyle. Her brown eyes returned to Flame as she started to speak, and immediately she narrowed her brows as she tried to imagine Vlad with a broken heart. Usually it was the other way around with him dancing from flower to flower and never landing on one for too long until he grew bored and wanted another. "Vell I guess the bigger they are, the harder they fall," she joked in a total deadpan, her face stoic despite the humor she was using to try and keep the conversation from plunging into despair. She then looked at Kyle, straddling the fence between amusement and annoyance at his personality, leaning on her hand again as the verbal disagreement between the two teenage boys went seemingly nowhere. Then, when Lucas prattled off some strange proverb, Korvka began to laugh. It started small and then crescendoed quickly into a rich sound, one not heard often thanks to the girl's usual disposition. Her head fell back slightly, tossing corkscrew curls over her shoulders as her plump lips pulled into a mocking smile. "Get a load off Confucius," she said to Flame (and Kyle, if he was listening) once she settled down, her cheeks rosy as she looked at the new kid in his weird period costume. "Qvit your day job," she suggested, smiling still from the strength of her amusement at his sanctimonious attitude. "You can make a killing writing fortune cookies."

'What the fff-' Kyle started, squinting at Lucas, but he stopped and licked his lips, clearly and suddenly agitated. 'You think you a better person than me, huh?' He didn't so much ask the question, but demanded to be given an answer, although the acidic boy had already obviously come to that conclusion. '...just 'cause you sit there like a goddamn snob in your poetical blouse?' he finished, tugging at the shoulders of his sleeveless undershirt as he spoke of Lucas's choice of attire. Fortunately, Korvka diffused the moment, at least briefly, with her own mocking comment. Kyle's narrowed eyes darted in the Russian girl's direction, and while he stopped yammering for timebeing, his lips were closed tightly in a fuming little pucker.

Giving a roll of her eyes at Korvka's bad little joke regarding Vlad, Flame let out a sigh, wondering if both her friend's and Kyle's comments were just going to aggravate the situation further. "Now kids, this is a party, suppose to be fun, not a time for bitching." At least not yet, until the real entertainment started. "Wish they would just get to the contest already, want to get out of here." She said as she glanced towards the stage.

"Of course not, I just don't think you give off the best first impression." Lucas picked up one of the paper balls off the table and flicking it off somewhere behind him, "But I apologise if it seemed like I thought that." Lucas sighed. When one of the girls began to laugh, he smiled in response, deciding to take it in good humour. "Thanks, finally a career option that makes sense!" Lucas gave one more smile before sitting back into his seat, looking around the group.

As Kyle continued with his indignant attitude and also commented on Fabio's chincey blouse, Korvka just smiled with one corner of her mouth. The boy, while immature, was at least not playing any part that society would ask of him, something she found she didn't completely hate in the guy. Her shrewd eyes darted over suddenly as she noticed the influx of people wandering to the game tables where the stage was. She stood up then, scooting the chair back with the backs of her thighs and then looking down to Flame. Without saying a word but communicating nevertheless, Korvka sauntered over to where the patch of pumpkins was hiding her bag of tricks. She walked around the patch of foliage and into X-Men Dance Floor to access the pumpkins from the other side to be somewhat less conspicuous.

Flame, deciding that it would be best to let one person handle the setup of the prank instead of drawing attention with two people, remained seated. She gave a nod of her chin to Korvka as she left, saying, "Later, babe," as the pirate stalked off. Left alone with the two boys who seemed intent upon arguing for arguments sake, Flame sighed and patted her skimpy costume for the reservoir of cigarettes she'd stored inside. Finding the pack in the waist of her tiny bottoms, she pulled out a single fag and lit it with a candle flame from the table. Inhaling deeply only to puff out the white smoke, and held the filter carefully with her sharply pointed fangs. "All right boys," she announced, leaning back in her chair and draping an arm casually over the back. "If you're gonna fight then at least have the decency to make it interesting."

Earlier in the day, Kyle had attempted, though without much luck, to bait another one of the newer, unfamiliar students at the school. Either he was losing his touch, or the males here were of a wholly different breed of those he'd grown up around. In other words, what a bunch of weenies. As Korvka made her way over to the dance floor, he fixed his yellow gaze upon Lucas and rocked forward then backward onto the respective set of legs of his chair, one, twice, letting them hit the floor forcefully with each movement. 'You know, I'd feel just terrible if I by chance mussed up his pretty face or his fancy clothes,' he said, responding to Flame while looking at Lucas, and not sounding particularly sincere, '...and I reckon that's 'zactly what'd happen.'

Once again, the music coming from the dance floor was interrupted and Jean's voice projected over the speakers, "Okay, students, the costume contest is about to begin. If you plan on joining, please make your way to the stage and sign your name. Everyone will be allowed one vote, and we will call everyone up to the stage when the votes have been tallied to announce the winners. Just write on paper the name of the person, or the costume if you are not familiar with the person's name, whose costume you think is best. You have ten minutes." As Jean's voice disappeared, the music returned once more. Then, without warning, several blank pieces of paper and pencils began appearing at each of the tables where the students sat, leaving behind a trail of blue smoke, obviously Nightcrawler's doing.

Lucas picked up a cup from the table, taking a sip from it before smiling, "Oh yes, terrible. But I would have to question your powers of foresight." Lucas finished, putting the cup down and sliding his hand to his pocket, discreetly taking out a handkerchief from his pocket which contained the few bits of metal he possessed. He hoped it wouldn't come to a fight, but he needed to be prepared for any eventuality.

Ah, maybe Flame shouldn't taunt the kids, as fun as it is. But then again, it would be they who would be heading to the med lab, not her, if things got bloody, and there were plenty of people around to pull them apart if needed. As Nightcrawler's 'bamf' traveled around the room she waved the lingering smoke away from her face. She liked the teacher, but those teleportation clouds could get annoying. "Think he disagrees with you on that outcome canary boy."

'Jeeezus!' Kyle muttered after he quite visibly started at Nightcrawler's efficient, however odiferous and surprising, method of delivery. Regaining whatever composure one could consider the young man even having, he looked appraisingly but harshly at Lucas-- he was pretty sure just insulted him, or something-- and then glanced to Flame, who was slyly egging him on. 'What you got there?' he demanded, not really being able to see that the other boy had retrieved his handkerchief from his vantage point. Kyle, who was far less subtle than Lucas, scooted closer to the table and picked-up one of the pencils that had been left behind, along with the paper. Instead of writing his vote on the paper with the pencil, he stuck it behind his ear and traced his roommate's name, whom he was voting for as per Jean's request, onto the middle of the paper with his fingertip. As the paper dissolved from the trace of acid on boy's fingertip, an acrid scent wafted briefly in the air, and he cocked a half-smile in anticipation of Lucas's answer.

Lucas took a piece of paper and pencil, scribbling down one of the few names he knew, Vlad. He then perked up at the sight of Kyle using his powers. "Huh, secretion of an acid like substance, organic obviously, I wonder how it's stored, or is it an on demand production..." Lucas leaned forward as he examined the paper, sniffing the air as he tried to determine the compound. "Smells like bile... I'm guessing Hydrogen Chloride? No that would be gaseous, Hydrochloric acid?" Lucas looked up, smiling as he did so, the argument not forgotten, but currently on pause.

Well so much for her encouragement for the two boys to fight, it looked like they were all talk and no action. If she wanted a science lesson she would be in Hank's class, not listening to what type of acid the yellow boy used. Sighing she picked up a pen and paper to write her pick, hell, if they were pranking them, she may as well help someone win at least. As Kaider had bailed early and basically voided emself from being picked Flame scribbled down Shana's name, the little midget's costume wasn't that bad after all.

Lire stood in the doorway for several moments before she slipped into the room. Her eyes flickered over the people in the room although she was careful to avoid meeting anyone's gaze. She took a deep breath and waded deeper into the crowd. She was jumpy and wary and it wasn't long before she retreated to the wall where she could study the people around her.

The cocky, baited expression Kyle wore quickly faded as Lucas proceeded to dissect and analyze the nature of his mutant ability, and somewhere along the young man's musings, his bald head lolled to one side and he pretended to fall asleep. When Lucas was through, Kyle snored loudly and quite fakely, then acted like he was suddenly and surprisely roused from his fake slumber. 'Well, goddamn, I figgered out what your power is. You bore people to sleep,' he said, as if making a great discovery, simultaneously pulling out the pencil he'd stuck behind his ear and pointing it at the other boy. A little fizzle sounded and another acrid scent wafted from him as he disintegrated the aluminum ferrule holding the eraser onto the pencil. Focused as he was on obnoxiously taunting Lucas, he didn't see the newest entrant into the Party Hall.

The acidic smell caused Lire's nose to wrinkle and she turned her gaze to where Kyle and Lucas sat. She watched them interestingly but hung back shyly.

Shaking her head at the two boys Flame switched her focus to the new comer. She raised a brow before chuckling to herself. Another new kid, Korvka was going to be thrilled. Standing from her seat she gave Lucas a pat on top of the head as she walked past them both, "Behave kids." Heading to the doorway. True, she wasn't in the best of moods tonight, but the new girl looked like she was just going to stay in the doorway if no one talked to her. "Hey there." Flame called over to Lire.

"Ummm hi." Lire answered hesitantly, she glanced up and then off to the side and smiled nervously. "I just kinda heard the music." She said by way of an explanation, she seemed nervous now that someone was actually talking to her.

Lucas shrugged slightly, a non nonchalant expression upon his face. "Aha, quaint." was all that escaped his mouth as the boy chose to partially melt a pencil. Lucas sat back in his chair, pondering the boys powers and imagining how he would use them in a fight, and of course ways to combat them. But he was adamant that he would not make the first strike, Kyle was not worth the trouble of being sent away from this school the day he arrived.

After watching Flame saunter off, Kyle narrowed his eyes slightly and scrutinized Lire. He had no idea who the unfamiliar face was, however, so he turned his attention back to Lucas. Letting the paper upon which he tendered his vote for the costume contest fall to the table, the freckled mutant flung the pencil end-over-end toward Lucas's head.

"Yeah, Halloween party, if you couldn't tell," Flame commented to Lire with a wink. "You're welcome to join in if you want, just coming up the the 'best dressed' contest of the night." She gave a quick glance to Korvka then back to the stage and the people gathered around the game tables. "Name's Flame by the way."

The pencil soared towards Lucas, and unbeknown to him, his powers activated as a defence. The small sphere of nickel shot upwards and expanded into a flat disk in front of his face, deflecting the pencil. Lucas wasn't sure how he had done that, his instincts must have taken over, the disk shrank back into a sphere and fell back into the handkerchief held in his hands.

"It's nice to meet you. My name is Lirerial although some people call me Lire." Lire smiled at Flame and glanced at the costumed people. "I absolutely love Halloween.... it's my favorite holiday."

The smooth, freckled surface of his brow furrowed deeply as the pencil was neatly deflected by the appearance of... whatever that was... and Kyle demanded, 'What the hell's that?' He could at least presume that it was part of Lucas's power, but exactly what it was, well, he had no clue.

Sighing, Lucas raised his hand to his forehead, rubbing it slowly as he felt weakened. Any result of the use of his powers left him feeling strange, as if his body had aged rapidly and his mind had been filled with another man's thoughts. Lowering his hand, he looked tiredly at Kyle, taking his time to answer the question. "That was Nickel expanding rapidly from a condensed sphere to a flat plate in an attempt to shield myself from your projectile." Lucas explained flatly.

"Well, help yourself," Flame commented. "Plenty of food left, and sure after the events the music will be started again." Maybe at least, it all depended on the reactions to the prank to come. "Just... ignore the idiots around the place..." She said in relation to the two boys still going at it.

"Thanks" Lire answered and grinned as she glanced at the boys. Her head tilted to one side, she couldn't help but be interested in other mutants, she hadn't really socialized with others unless they were part of a mission in which case it never ended well for them. "What other events are they going to have?" She asked as she watched the costume contest.

'Yeah, well, you don't look so hot now,' Kyle said as the other boy rubbed his forehead and spoke in a tired manner. Could the acidic mutant possibly be.... concerned? Well, of course not. He stood and planted the palms of his hands firmly on the tabletop and leaned toward Lucas. 'That dinky little thing you just did gave you a headache, er sumthin? That ain't nothin',' he said as if it were a stone cold fact.

Kyle was background noise. Lucas felt a wave of dizziness and nausea, overwhelming one moment but... gone the next. He let his hand drop to the table as he pondered what had come over him, and then looking up at Kyle after catching up with what he had said. "Headache or not, it won't stop me lodging one of these into your hypothalamus." Lucas stated, furrowing his brow at Kyle.

'One a what?' Kyle said, then let his mouth hang slightly agape as he attempted to process what Lucas had just said. 'You makin' words up now?' he asked with an edge of contempt to his voice, though he was certain that maybe Lucas was just not right in the head after performing his little trick. He did not know what his hypothalamus was, and that a metal projectile could prove unfortunate to his well being should that area of his brain be violated, but he did know that he could do damage to nickel, so, naturally, foolhardiness took place over common sense and forethough, and he waved his freckled ochre hand in a dismissive gesture in the other student's direction. Kyle returned the blatant glare evenly, but not for long; his growing disinterest was evident as his attention drifted away, first toward the stage where the costume contest was being held, then over to where Flame had wandered to greet the newest arrival.

The two boys arguing kept drawing Lire's attention and she chuckled softly when she heard Lucas threaten Kyle. She lifted her gaze and returned Kyle's stare; her silver eyes met his for a moment, just long enough for the effect to start before she quickly broke eye contact. She smiled at him shyly and ducked her head down.

"The hypotha... ugh forget it, there's no point." Lucas sighed, noticing the new arrival for the first time. He was unaware if she was a new addition to the school, having only arrived earlier that day, or if she was part of the existing body but something intrigued him about her. He could see Kyles growing lack of interest he was sure that the boy was no threat any more.

"Actually," Flame answered. "I think this is pretty much it for the night." Well, one way or another she was sure the events to come would finish the party. "The contest and that's it. Seems you got here just a bit too late."

"That's fine. I'm glad I got to see at least the end." Lire shrugged and grinned at Flame. She snuck a glance over at Lucas, careful not to meet his eyes, and for some reason she felt emboldened enough to give him a little wave and smile.

Coming from the dance floor, Korvka walked over to Flame, ignoring the girl with dark black bangs who stood beside her scaly, demonic looking friend. The look on her face was amused but guiltless, as if she found great pleasure in whatever had taken place but was in no way responsible. "Holy shit girl, you haff got to see this," she said excitedly, grabbing Flame's hand in a practiced way to avoid slicing her olive skin on the older woman's impressive claws and tugging her towards the tables. Looking back to Kyle, someone she figured would know how to truly appreciate the agony of others, Korvka said "You might get a laugh from this too, a bunch off people got pranked on stage. I'm gonna go get a better look," she said, turning around again and escorting Flame to the X-Men Game Tables to get a better look at what was happening.

Lire watched almost in shock at the familiar way the other woman had grabbed Flame and led her away. She smiled softly as she heard the uproar from the mess and walked over to where Kyle and Lucas sat. "Do you mind if I sit here?" She asked hesitantly. The way she stood was tense, almost as if she was expecting someone to attack at any moment.

Lucas was curious about the chaos occurring up on stage where the contest was being held, but he wanted as little involvement as possible, he was adamant that on his first day, he wouldn't get into any form of trouble, association or otherwise. Apart from, of course, Kyle's sudden dislike of him, and the likewise feelings. When the new girl came over, Lucas looked up to observe her more clearly. "Of course not, it'd be nice to have some... decent conversation." Lucas commented, producing a pleasant half smile in an attempt to ease the girls discomfort. "I'm Lucas by the way, one of the new kids on the block."

"I'm new here too" Lire answered with a smile as she sat down, "My name's Lirerial, by the way, although my friends would call me Lire." She blew at a long strand of hair that was dangling in her face, when blowing didn't work she finally reached up and tucked it behind one ear. "I saw what you did with that metal... how did you do that?"

Well, guess Flame was heading to the table set up. "Catch you later Lire." She managed to get out before being pulled to X-Men Game Tables.

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance." Lucas smiled, extending a hand, more businesslike than he had meant it to be. "Ah, that." He started. He wondered how much he should tell on this first encounter, not the whole story obviously, but the basics couldn't hurt. "It's a part of my ability, control of ferromagnetic metals. Basically I can manipulate metals with the strongest magnetic forces, though in theory I should be able to control all materials with a magnetic field acting upon them... Guess that's what I'm here for, to learn a bit more about myself and what I can do." Lucas rambled, casting a glance at Lire, not sure if he had weirded her out yet with his goings on.

Lire smiled. "That sounds cool, I've never really met any other mutants." She shrugged, "I'm here more to learn to get along with people." She chuckled, "I'm not the most caring person."

"There aren't many mutants who choose to reveal themselves, I've only met a few in my lifetime. Then again that's not saying much, I haven't exactly been out much." Lucas shrugged, "And hey, if it's any consolation, you're not doing too badly." Lucas returned the smile.

As Lire settled herself down at their table, Kyle said nothing and rocked back and forth in his seat. He was still seated backwards in his chair, an obvious sign of either a badass or someone with poor manners. Kyle fancied himself the first, but it was really the latter that more fairly represented the yellow mutant. He monitored the interaction between Lire and Lucas with his strange eyes, his attention unwavering, evening as the events unfolded on the stage. He probably would have found what was going on on stage to be vastly more interesting, though. 'Why dun you jus' say that!?' he interjected as Lucas explained his powers. "I am a biiiiiiig magnet! I can make metal do stuff and stick to itself!' he said, demonstrating as such by holding his splayed hands out and wiggling them a little. 'Nobody wanna here all blah, blah, blah, hippotamus, blah, ferro-whatever. You learn to talk like a real person, girl here, ' he was, of course, referring to Lire,'might actually be interested in what you got to say.'

Lire was shocked at his lack of respect, something she was not accustomed to and her eyes flickered to his face and met his peculiar eyes with her own silver orbs. Her face was expressionless as she tapped the table, ""Well, considering I'd asked him. I would think it's safe to assume I was interested." She said quietly, letting her own mutation take effect.

"Ah how the simple minded find pleasure in they're desire to rebel." Muttered Lucas in a tired, yet amused voice. About to place a hand on Lire's shoulder, he left it hovering a centimetre above, thinking she was not one for any physical interaction. "There are battle's worth fighting, and there are squabbles that are not worth our time." Lucas looked on, a semi serious gleam in his eye as he looked from Kyle to Lire.

"Argh... you're right." Lire said as she looked away, subconsciously her body flinched away from Lucas's hand putting a little more distance between them without her even realizing it. She took a deep breath, it irritated her and she had to silently remind herself that she was here to learn how to deal with normal society and she was fairly certain that she wasn't allowed to use physical force on someone as punishment for being rude. She smiled, "Although a good fight should never be turned down." She said cheerfully, her annoyance forgotten.

Extracting his hand slowly, Lucas cast an apologetic look her way, before responding. "A fight for a cause is always a good fight, however when there is no threat, there is no cause." Lucas finished, desperate to llow for the conversation to move on. "You never told me what your power was."

"Well..." Lire's eyes flickered up to Lucas's face and met his eyes, letting him feel the effects of her paralyzing stare. "It's hard to explain." She said and quickly glanced away, "Its just my eyes and reflexes... I guess you can say I'm kind of a human snake-ish thing." She said and chuckled slightly.

Finding himself caught in her eyes, Lucas began to feel strange, a creeping feeling made it's way all over his body, as if he was being frozen. When she turned away, he felt himself again, mentally shaking his body as he tried to get over the feeling. His curiosity was paramount, but he felt a little tired to act upon it this time, simply replying "Very impressive, you have talents."

Lire shrugged, "I've heard that before." She said softly and then shook her head as if to clear the thought from her mind, "Thanks. But I think yours are way more impressive. Much more useful." She reached back and flicked her hair back over her shoulders and smiled again.

"With superior reflexes and a gaze that stuns, you could best me in a fight any day, I'm not exactly experienced with my powers." Lucas admitted, what he did earlier was merely instinctive, he couldn't exactly lift a car just yet. He revealed a shy smile, looking up, focusing his eyes on Lire's forehead, out of respect. It wouldn't do well for him to freeze up mid conversation.

Lire smiled gratefully at him. She appreciated his effort and was grateful, the lack of fear was a new experience for her. "I may be able to best you in a scrimmage but I doubt I could kill you. Your instincts work faster than your mind and you'd probably deflect any of my attacks without even realizing it." She said seriously, this was her professional opinion. She was still smiling, completely unaware of how messed up the words sounded.

"Well, maybe one day we'll find out, not if you could kill me, I'd rather avoid that situation if I'm honest." Lucas chuckled softly, he was desperate to learn how to use his powers, control them, but who knew how long that would take. But he couldn't deny that practice didn't make perfect, he'd learn't more on the road this past month that he ever had safe and secure

"Well... if you want I can help you practice..." Lire suggested hesitantly, "Fighting is one of the only things I'm good at, and nothing helps you control your powers better than using them in a fight."

As Lucas and Lire steamrolled onward with their conversation, Kyle became increasingly disinterested, though he was rather annoyed by the course of the conversation in which he'd been involved. He sniffed slightly and turned to face the stage, chair and all-- there seemed to be some confusion going up there. And a big mess. Curious for any further tidbits one or the other might divulge, however, Kyle remained within earshot of the discussion at the table, even though the two new acquaintances were now primarily patting each other on the back regarding each other's powers.

"That sounds like a plan." Lucas nodded in agreement, encouraging her, in an attempt to start getting to know her more, she seemed reserved within herself and so he took it upon himself to learn more about this newcomer, if only to begin making friends. "Besides, there's nothing better when socialising than wailing on each other."

Lire chuckled, "If that was true I'd be the most popular person on that planet." She was visibly relaxing although she was careful not to give to much away. Although she felt at ease with Lucas she knew Kyle was listening to their conversation and habit cautioned her against supplying to much information about herself.

"I wouldn't worry about popularity in this day, if the television stations are anything to go by, you need to have loose morals to get there..." Lucas rambled on, he was sometimes quiet, but once he got going someone needed to tell him to stop.

"You have no idea how right you are." Lire answered as she shook her head. "It gets you the wrong kind of popularity." Normally Lire was a quiet person so she happily listened to Lucas talk; grateful he kept the conversation going so easily.

"Ha, I really don't. I haven't exactly been in the real world that long. It's only the past month I've discovered the 'Wonders' of reality t.v." Lucas raised his hands and gestured quotation marks at the wonders part. Between old reruns of american sitcoms and shows about people who do the funniest things, Lucas was somewhat glad about living in sweet obliviousness.

"Wow are you serious? Where have you been all this time?" Lire asked. She was a little shocked at the idea of someone having been so well shielded.

"That, is a story for another time. For now, let's just say the place I grew up in, didn't get cable." Lucas wasn't sure if he was ready to divulge his upbringing just yet, he was sure that once people knew, they may think of him a little differently, he didn't wanna end up with a bad reputation on the first day.

"I can understand that." Lire said with a small smile. "My family, if you could call it that, had their own way of raising me. Fighting was such a part of my life I didn't really get to watch much tv, unless I was studying a target." She added, attempting to help him feel at ease.

"A target? So... you're an assassin or something? See, this is the stuff I need to know before I agree to fight you.£ Lucas winked, mocking slightly as he tried to pass off the assassin comment as a joke, if it were true... did it matter? He wasn't a target, that he knew of.

"I'm retired!" Lire laughed and held up her hands trying to make him feel at ease; she didn't want to frighten him. "I wouldn't kill you anyways, I'm here to learn how to not kill people."

"I'm sure you won't, I have some skill with a blade besides." Lucas smiled, he had yet to mention his profound ability with a sabre, it was one of his only means of entertainment and fun. "I'm sure you'll resist the temptation." Lucas chuckled.

"I'll do my best." Lire said cheerfully. She watched him curiously, "What is your fighting style? You mentioned you fight with bladed weapons, that's my favorite type as well!"

"Really? Well unless you fight with a plastic blade I may have bested you already." Lucas winked, guessing he'd have the edge in a contest, but less of one in a feat of speed. "And I'm a dab hand at fencing if you're interested."

Lire grinned, "I would love a good fight. Although... my skills are more towards stealth fighting rather than face to face." She had no doubt he could beat her if they fought fairly, but her fighting style was deceitful and tricky, something she'd been trained in for years.

"Perhaps when we're both more accustomed to how things work around here, after all it'd be interesting to see what we learn here over the next few weeks." Lucas bowed his head slightly, he was beginning to get tired and hoped that the situation by the stage would end soon, not that he wasn't enjoying Lire's company, quite the opposite, it was the first time he'd talked like this in a while.

"Mmmhmmm." Lire nodded in agreement, she lifted one delicate hand to her mouth as she yawned. She'd had a long day and was getting tired as well. "I can't wait to see how things go here."

Lucas nodded in agreement, he really was excited about the prospect of learning here, but for the moment, he was over tired and so felt a little restless as his reserves of energy kicked in. "Hey, wanna take a walk, I haven't had a chance to get a good look at the place yet." Lucas smiled as he rose from his chair, stretching his stiff muscles.

"Yes!" Lire answered quickly and eagerly stood up. She lifted one arm over her head as she stretched.

Lucas let out a short laugh at her eagerness, "Well I don't exactly know the way out of here, sort of got teleported here." Lucas shrugged, "But I think it's this way." He nodded towards the door, before making for it out of the stuffy room and out into the X-men hall complex.

Lire followed closely, easily slipping through the crowd and out the door.

Mihir walked straight from the stage area to the door and out to X-Men Hall Complex.

Endelyn walked through the hall and to the door a little while after Mihir, exiting out into the X-men hall complex.

Justin sauntered down the hall, his eyes blank staring past the doorway to X-men hall complex as he walked through it.

With rumbling footsteps that shook the floor as he walked, Vlad, whose costume had been ruined, whose paint was running, and whose energy was as black as the night stormed through the party hall and out the door into X-Men Hall Complex, slamming it behind him.

Coming quickly from the game tables, an angry Light made her way across the room, leaving behind a beaten Camille, and exited out into the X-Men Hall Complex.

At first, Kyle gleefully watched the goopy events unfold by the stage, but even he was surprised by how everything ended. With authority figures having surfaced, it was time for him to make his exit. Leaving his bedsheet-cum-costume behind at the table, the boy stood and left for the X-Men Hall Complex.

Korvka walked with a strange sort of drifting silence. She was one of the few not covered in guts, but her face still wore the weight of the night. Looking to no one, her eyes deadset, the Russian exited the party hall into X-Men Hall Complex.

Shortly after Korvka's departure, Flame also left from the hall complex.

Making her way from the stage, Valerie trod through the depressingly vacant party hall and out into X-Men Hall Complex.

From here, you can move exit back out to X-Men Hall Complex move on to either X-Men Dance Floor or X-Men Game Tables.

The worst we can do is say no. And maybe insult your intelligence a little. ;)

2011-11-25 [Ms. Steel]: I'll be away for the weekend, FYI. :-)

2011-11-26 [The Past]: Should I MSU for events? Or say its getting late in the night? Also: no idea for events o.o Halloween ain't too big here, never been to such a party before.
