About the artist and why this picture was chosen for the daily picture:

Eventually, a silly one had to creep in here somewhere. The instant I saw this picture by [stubblychin], I laughed out loud and a smirk resides on my face whenever I think about it. A goblin going for a joyride in a time travelling space ship. It's classic creative silliness, and fairly well done, too. It was created in Photoshop, from [stubblychin] just playing around with different tools, but the colours came out so vibrant and eye-catching. I particularly like how the fire from the engines, dwindling into smoke in the corner came out and the use of shadow on the goblin's body. Not only is it amusing, it's well done, too.
