Efrits are evil , hideous spectres, which come from Arabic cultures. They also feature in Persian and Indian mythology where they are called Genies. Also associated with Jinns and Divs of Persia. Recently show as a fire elemental in the Final Fantasy Games.

The Efreeti are denizens of Ignas, the Elemental Realm of Fire.
Highest members of the castes of Janni society rule the realm of Ignas with an iron fist, having claimed it free of its previous godly ruler, the minotaur god, Crimson Piper.
