Description:
Magic
The magic in your eyes
Is gone, no matter what I say.
Not that I want to say my goodbyes,
It will not come back to stay.
What happened to the magic,
That lied within your heart?
The loss is very tragic.
What has happened to your art?
You say nothing’s changed about you.
Your eyes are gray like lead,
The changes, to you are new.
It’s as if to me, you’re dead.
You wander around, pointlessly searching,
Your hair, rushing in the wind.
Although my stomach’s lurching,
The line, between you and I, has thinned.
As I walk away, you don’t say a word.
Running now, my heart has lifted.
Your vision blurred,
Your soul has drifted.
Love forever more
I look behind you ever more,
Before you I was nothing.
I dreaded every morning, noon and night.
Now I look forward to every night and day.
Always waiting, watching your every move.
You may not notice, but my love shines
through like the sun after a storm.
You may find this funny,
But the way I feel is not.
You, my dear makes my life worth living.
You make the world stop when you smile at me.
If you ever found out I'd be crushed.
I might get over you in the years to come,
But right now I believe.
You may not recognize me,
But I will always remember you.
Your bright blue eyes,
Your wavy blonde hair.
I could never tell you how I felt,
But I'd rather write a poem to you.
Now you know how I feel/
But I'm never to reveal
The name of whom I love.
To you dear sir, I will always love thee.
I like writing poems and if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thank you.
