This is my poetry about pets I've rescued!

" Spooky"

          (Placed in a good home!)
          I'm a five year old, neutered male
          And I'm sure hopin' you'll tip the scale,
          In my favor to take a chance
          And give me more than just a glance.
          I'll be your friend, stand by you.
          And I can offer protection, too,
          For love, some food, a brush and comb
          With folks that want me in their home.
          I'm hoping and longing for you to say...
          "Come on Spooky, you're adopted today!"

"Mask"

          My name is Mask...
          And I'm on a quest,
          'Cause I need a home,
          For just me is the best!
          Since I'm a lookin'...
          And if you're a knowin',
          I'm just a fella'...
          That's easy goin'!

"Ebony"

          (Placed in a good home!)
          Hello, all you lovers of pets.
          I'm sorta' in a bind.
          Ebony is my given name
          And I'm looking for, to find...
          A special home is what I need
          With attention all for me,
          'Cause in my past I've been abused
          And it's hard for me, you see...
          A feeling of security is difficult for me,
          'Cause not once or twice, do I speak.
          Many times I've been shoved aside
          So my faith is just a little weak.
          This doesn't mean that I can't give...
          Love, devotion, just like all the rest,
          'Cause this is where I do excel,
          Since I give my very best!!!

"Meet Mia!"

          Hello, my name is Mia.
          I'm just a little girl,
          Looking for a home
          In this whole wide world.
          Only in this world five months
          And looking for a place
          To rest 'n' play 'n' frolic
          And to know a friendly face!
          I am a mix. This is true.
          Of hound dog can't you tell?
          A gentle voice, a loving touch
          Ahh, this would be just swell!
          I'm playful as a pup can be.
          I love to romp and play with glee.
          I'd play with you, you would see...,
          If you'd only give a home to me!

"The Pups"

          (Placed in a good home!)
          We, the pups, have found a home
          Where we can romp and play.
          With two boys that love us
          And give attention every day!
          So many times like we, the pups,
          Find a home quite soon...

          And then the Mom is left behind
          To sing a lonely tune.
          But in this case, we're very glad
          To report the wonderful news.
          Our Mom has found a home as well
          And she no longer sings the blues!!!
