And so, Faust, Orion, Andreas, Mirany, Jeffery and Nervote continue on their journey

"So," said Faust consulting the AO - Map, "Saruna is where we're heading. To the ice plains."
Nervote looked at Faust, "Are you sure that is the best path, the could may challange us and I know of many beasts capabla of killing in that area."
"It is the path suggested by my friend here, Andreas."
Andreas lay, dozing, asleep but still clutching his cwellen.
"I may yet be proven wrong we could take that path to ... where are we actually going?" Nervote stood (wobbling slightly on the moving cart), still confused.
"Have a look at the ao - map," said Faust handing it over. "It's very rough but i'm sure we can complete it as we go along."
Nervote held the unrolled map in his hand looking at it.
"It'll be a while but i'm sure we can work out what it all means sooner or later..." said Faust looking over his shoulder.
Andreas woke up silently and started his companions as he spoke, "A strange heartbeat is nearing, one that I've never felt the like of before."
Nervote turned his head towards Andreas. "What be the matter?"
Andreas shifted himself up and loaded two extra discs into the cwellan, "Something wicked this way comes."
Nervote grabbed his bow of his back and notched an arrow into it. "Can you tell where it is?" He was nervous, however was still stood up wobbling in the back of the cart. He turned to Jeffery, "Be ready to stop, Jeff ..."
"But shouldn't I be getting ready to go faster?" asked Jeffery pleasently.
"No, young master Nervote is right." Andreas was trying to determine where it was but it was circling them with such speed that he couldn't tell where it was, "It is a beast of the monks, one that I have never encountered before. It is circling us with an unholy speed so prepare yourself to fight.
Faust looked around uncertainly. " Orion, fly up and see what it is..."
Orion flew up and searched for they're attacker, "I can't see anything..." He started to signal but as he did so a large, cat-like creature about the size of a small gryffin passed beneath him at a blinding speed. "What is that thing?!" whispered Mirany.
The shinkran displacer circled it's prey, finally deciding to go in for the kill. Using it's powerful wings it pounced on the wagon, missing it by mear inches as the cwellen disks hit it.
The discs where followed by a arrow that was sprang from Nervote's bow. It swished bast the shinkran ear.
Around here Jeffery finally got around to pulling out and loading his crossbow.
The shinkran hit the ground with a soft thump, surprised at being hit so easily. Andreas shouldered his cwellen and took out one of his swords, "The beast won't be trying that again."
"But why was it here?" asked Faust.
"I suspect it was here to stop us from completing, or for that matter: starting our goal." He sat back down after replacing his bow in it's sleeve.
Tierra sat hidden in the corn fields, wide eyed. She had never seen one of those monsters and it had chilled her. She rubbed her arms as she looked at the odd travellers.
Faust squinted into the fields. "There's some one there!"
Nervote notched another arrow in his bow expecting it to be another evil creature.
"Wait, Don't fire!"
He put his arrow back away and jumped off the cart walking towards the object in the field.
Tierra looked him through the corn. She tried to think of an escape but there was none. She sighed and stood raising her hands. "I'm not going to hurt you." She stumbled out onto the road and rolled her eyes.
