AO - 9
Tierra looked at the elf woman on the floor. "You like to make everyone your prisoner don't you?" She pushed herself out from under the cart.
Nervote laughed, "I'm just glad it was
Andreas and not me or she would be dead, from this close up I realise who she is." He breathed in and then let out a secret, "She is my sister,
Ashlee."
Ashlee mumbled in her dart induced unconciousness
. "No... no! Don't! Get away!"
Tierra grins and runs off in the direction that Ashlee had come from. She returns a little later with a magnificent horse. "Elves never travel on foot, well not that I know of."
The horse attempted to bite Nervote as Tierra brought him nearer. Tierra pulled him back and tried to sooth him.
Nervote removed his hand, so not to tempt the horse again, "That bloody horse is a loyal one, shes had it since she could ride them."
The horse snapped again, its black tail swishing in annoyance. His black coat gleamed in the sunlight.
"I don't really care if it's loyal or not, it's going to be good." Tierra smiled evily at it.
The horse snapped agressively and lunged. Ashlee groaned again and the horse quieted slightly. He shoved Tierra out of the way and stretched down towards his mistress.
Tierra whined quietly, she never had trouble with horses. "I give up on that one. Don't we have somewhere to be going?"
Ashlee groaned again and sat up in the dirt. She wrenched the dart from her shoulder and threw it aside. Her black steed whickered nervously, and she reached out to comfort him. "Shh, Dragonwave," she said. She grabbed his mane and heaved herself onto her feet swaying slightly. "Ow..." she muttered while drawing Elven runes and casting them on her bleeding shoulder.
Andreas picked up the dart and replaced it on his belt, "Trianing as an assassin has come in handy. Now, it seems that Nervote seems to know you, so can you give us a little background Nervote?"
"If I could remember," spat Ashlee bitterly, "then I would tell you myself. All I know is that I've lived alone for... a long time, buying, and in some cases, stealing what I need. I made an income from arrow fletching and making by selling them at markets in towns. Recently, I've lived alone in this forest, which is how I want it to stay." Her eyes flashed angrily at Andreas, Nervote and Tierra. "Now if you excuse me." She began to walk back towards the forest.
"Ash!" Nervote leaped out of the wagon after, "We could use your help, could we Faust ah? Or what do you think Jeffery?"
Andreas held up one of the cwellen disks, "Would you be able to magically enchant these? If you could then you have found yourself a source of gold, or at least if you can make them you would be useful."
Ashlee examined the discs with interest. She muttered something to the metal and it began to hum. Runes and symbols glowed around the discs edge. As soon as they came, they faded and Ashlee handed the disc back to Andreas.
Andreas Smiled as she handed back the disk, feeling the magic aura, "That you Ashlee, you will be very useful indeed."
Ashlee looked startled. "Who said I was staying? I certainly didn't." She started on her way to the forest again.
"Sis ...." He said waiting for her reply, he tried to make her say she'd come.
"I thought you were searching for money?" Andreas simply said to her, "If you acompany us we can certainly promise you that."
Faust just looked at them shocked by the revaltions. "Before she joins us don't you think there's something we should address," he pointed down at the body of Mirany - now quite cold.
Ashlee shruged, "She was an assasin. A servant of Morna."
"We should at least bury her..." said Faust still unsure.
Andreas gave her a kick. "Let the animals have her. Its no more than she deserves."
