(View Larger Image For Best Quality Please) The Calender represents the year of the ox. The money packet with the U.S. $2 dollar bill is for good luck. These lucky packets are given out each new years, and can normally be found at any Vietnamese/Chinese New Year Festival.

2009-02-06 [Artsieladie]: Deadline extended: 2009-2-28 :D

2009-02-17 [Easterling]: Hmm... wasn't there a rule that said that you needed to add a proof-photo? I might have a photo that I could participate with, but I gave up the idea because it was taken before I saw this contest and therefore I wasn't able to take a proof-photo... :P

2009-02-18 [Xuan.]: i can take a proof photo but i was unaware that there was a rule for this one.

2009-02-18 [Xuan.]: muahahahaha. i shall not break the rules!!!! i am determined.

2009-02-18 [Easterling]: Ah, I see the shoe there! :P

2009-02-18 [Xuan.]: LOL. I'm a dork.

2009-02-18 [Easterling]: And apparently you're a winner. x)

2009-02-18 [Xuan.]: nah, before they extended the date, i was the only entrant and they didn't want to give me the prize lol. ^_^

2009-02-18 [Easterling]: I guess they wanted to give more a chance to enter the contest. I'd like to enter, but I'm still hesitating about that proof-photo-rule. I have a good picture for this contest, but I don't have a proof-photo. Ah well.

2009-02-18 [Xuan.]: Enter it anyways, it's always worth a try. They may just let you in because we don't have a lot of entries.

2009-02-18 [Easterling]: I'll just wait for some comments on that..

2009-02-19 [Artsieladie]: Thanks for bringing up the proof photo issue, [Easterling]. :D Maybe if we could see your photo? Was it taken by your current camera? This would help 'maybe' to help verify that it's your photo, if the camera info is in the properties' window. *just thinking out loud* Anyone else have any thoughts and/or suggestions? ;)

2009-02-19 [Easterling]: x) Yes, it was taken by my current camera, but what difference does that make, you mean? Even if I leave some information about the camera, it wouldn't be more believable than if I just gave my word.

But anyway, it's not such a big deal.

2009-02-19 [Xuan.]: ...
wow.

2009-02-20 [Artsieladie]: In this image, I use one of [Hedda]'s photos as an example, you can see in the properties window, the camera manufacturer and the model number. If you have other pictures taken by this camera, as well as the picture you are referring to, they all should have this same information on them -or- I would think so.

I dunno. I'm just trying to come up with an alternative. :P

2009-02-21 [Xuan.]: Your way of thinking is amazing for real though. Good thought!!!! Awesome alternative.

2009-02-21 [Artsieladie]: Thanks, but I'm still not completely sure that this is fool proof, and I don't have even one camera to try to experiment this theory with. But someone else that has used more than one camera, can likely verify or nullify this theory. ;P

2009-02-21 [Xuan.]: let me check it by some of my photographes :) I got a new camera for Christmas.

2009-02-21 [Xuan.]: it doesn't show that information on my pictures.

2009-02-21 [Xuan.]: How did you get that information from hedda's photograph?

2009-02-21 [Artsieladie]: On the "full size" viewing (not resized by pseudo html), right click, choose "properties" (or it may be "image properties") and a smaller window opens up. This is the little window seen in the image link I pasted previously that shows the info about the camera used. :)
