1. [Easterling] - "White Snow in Dark Winter Nights"
<img300*0:stuff/easterling_snowychurch.jpg> Proof: <img100*0:stuff/easterling_snowychurchhammer.jpg>
When the snow finally comes the rainy darkness turns into a fairy tale landscape!

2. [Skydancer] - "Yule Snow Lights"

<img300*0:stuff/Yule%20Snow%20Lights.jpg> Proof:<img100*0:stuff/Yule%20Snow%20Lights%20Proof.jpg>
Slick and icy and slushy and oh such fun, the snow dancing in the camera flash.

3. [Nioniel] - "Holiday Lights Through the Bottom of the Bottle"

So I didn't have a hammer, but I did have a mallet (weird, huh?). If you want, I'll put the whole damn toolbox in there, sans the disappearing hammer...

2009-12-18 [Easterling]: Nice, Skydancer. :) The snow looks like pixies, or small angels!

2009-12-18 [Skydancer]: thank you. I nearly killed myself getting back out there to shoot the proof shot, it is slick and the water is a good 2 inch deep running down the tire tracks. :D Yours is quite nifty too, very homelike.

2009-12-18 [Easterling]: Ha ha ha! Well, I had to go back to my place, too, for the proof photo which I totally forgot about. x) It's good that nobody gets the idea of moving an old stone church somewhere else. It was just where I left it.

2009-12-20 [Kaimee]: Wow I must miss out on so much living in Australia, I never knew snow looked like that in a camera flash :D

2009-12-20 [Easterling]: I guess there are things we miss out, too, who don't live in Australia. :)

2009-12-20 [Nioniel]: *needs to do this today*

2009-12-20 [Nioniel]: *does*

2009-12-21 [Teufelsweib]: ooff [AROCKY80], I'm afraid that different angle as a proofphoto won't do =/ it's why we've specifically asked for a hammer. something like a mallet is in the grey zone, but I'm afraid this isn't proof enough. do you perhaps have the chance to go there again, and this time with a hammer, to take a proofpicture?

2009-12-21 [AROCKY80]: Nope it was at Knotts oh well

2009-12-21 [AROCKY80]: I'll try to think of something different

2009-12-22 [Nioniel]: [Teufelsweib]; if it is at all problematic, I can borrow a hammer from work and take another proof photo, just let me know soon if you'd like me to do it that way.

<img:stuff/zabuN-gif.gif>

2009-12-22 [Kaimee]: [Nioniel] I think the mallet will be satisfactory for that image, since it does at least show us that you were able to get a proof image involving an unusual object incredibly close to the required hammer. If you want to take another proof image go ahead, but my ruling on this is that the mallet is enough ;)

2009-12-22 [Teufelsweib]: I agree that the mallet will do :)
and [AROCKY80], good luck with a new entry! are you sure that you can't make a proofpic of the current one, or can I delete this one from the page?

2009-12-22 [AROCKY80]: Go a head and delete it I'll try to think of something eles if I get off in time that is

2009-12-23 [Nioniel]: Thanks all! I'll probably just leave it as is then.

2009-12-26 [Hedda]: I don't have a proof image though:

<img300*0:stuff/z/1/journey%2520to%2520Ljusdal/DSC07977.JPG>

2009-12-26 [Teufelsweib]: and you can't go back and take a proofimage anyway? because we just deleted someone because she didn't had a proper proofimage, it wouldn't be fair to allow this one =/

2009-12-26 [Teufelsweib]: ack, the contest is closed today anyway, sorry :)

2009-12-26 [Hedda]: I don't really like being in the official contests anyway. <img:stuff/dand-gif.gif>

It feels kind of wrong as I'm the überspanker here.

2009-12-26 [Teufelsweib]: well, it's a nice picture though, so thanks for trying anyway ^^

2009-12-27 [*Phoenix*]: awww. I so had an awesome picture....That's what happens when your brother hogs the computer with WoW... Grr! :[
