2008-10-29 [Linderel]: It goes G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17. You can also call something 'hard R'. Here's an article dealing with it, I don't quite agree with the definitions but it gives you a general idea. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPAA_film_rating_system

So yes, NC-17 would be part of that scale, but above R so... Meh. I don't know, I'll have to think about this.

And I'm only banning graphic scenes because while I don't mind smut, graphic violence makes me queasy. <_< Once managed to make myself nauseous while writing Dreamscape. :P ...and if I ever finish Happy House, it will happen again. >_<

I found that while I was writing that, I was trying to make myself feel sick. XD I wanted to write pretty bad stuff, but found it was probably better to leave it on an indication of things to come. XD
But that's just me. :P I'm a bit odd. oO
