Welcome to Elftown Festivals, the place for everyone to celebrate the next up and coming Festival.
Be it Halloween, Christmas, New Years or one of the many many others!

It's your choice how you celebrate here.
You can walk right in and order a few drinks, to get you into the spirit. Of course all drinks will be on the house!
If you'd like to help out you can organise and maintain competitions.
Or you can head over to the competitions and celebrate with creativity!

Interested in helping out?

As you can probably imagine, Festivals needs a lot of people to keep it in tip top form - so that as many up and coming festivals are listed. So if you are interested in doing some odd art - creating festival pages - organising events - or just serving the chilled beverages - then leave a message here and let us know. - Festivals Staff

2008-01-05 [Lin-tastic]: Would New Years Day Festival be acceptable?

2008-01-05 [Sunrose]: It's been added :)

2008-01-05 [Lin-tastic]: ^_^ I've kinda already started on it...lol Not that that's a bad thing...

2008-01-05 [Sunrose]: No, that's what you're supposed to do ;)

2008-01-05 [Lin-tastic]: Right. I took the liberty of fixing the table...the "~In preperation" was listed as part of the date. lol

2008-01-05 [Sunrose]: Thanks, I didn't have a lot of time this morning, so I didn't double check what I did :)

2008-01-06 [Lin-tastic]: ^_^ No prob. It's why we're here, right? ;)

2008-01-10 [nehirwen]: I changed the elftown valentine competitions from 'in preparation' to 'open'.

2008-01-10 [Sunrose]: Thanks! ^^

2008-02-01 [nehirwen]: why are the Thanksgiving and New years day festivals tagged as 'open'?
I thought they had an opening date?

2008-02-01 [Sunrose]: Aye, but some time ago we thought it would be better to keep contests open all year. That way passersby can submit whenever they want to, and hopefully this leads to more participation.
We select one winner per year, in the days before the festival date..

2008-02-01 [nehirwen]: Ah alright, then I shall remove the opening dates on the festivalwiki's as well. :)

2008-02-01 [Sunrose]: *^^* I didn't fully execute it, initially I just posted it as an idea hehe..

2008-02-01 [nehirwen]: I know, I didn't know it was decided to go with that idea yet though. But I think it's a good idea, so I've removed the opening dates, and in a couple of days the easter festival can be opened too! :)

2008-02-01 [Sunrose]: *^____^*

2008-02-02 [Lin-tastic]: -huggles Nehirwen- You're so helpful! You should get an apreciation page!!! Thanks, hun!

2008-02-05 [nehirwen]: Haha, thank you [Lin-tastic] ;)
^__^

2008-02-05 [nehirwen]: Easter Festival is now opened. :)

2008-02-06 [Lin-tastic]: lol No probs. I love giving props to people who do great things! xD

2008-02-26 [Imperator]: I saw the idea on the Staff page about making "educational pages" for each festival. I can see a joint Elftown Academy-Festivals project shaping up... :p Thoughts?

2008-03-07 [xido]: Mardi Gras happens prior to Lenten every year, which can change (dates) from year to year. It is a huge festival, with a deep and intriguing history connected to many cultures around the world.
