Welcome to Elftown Festivals, the place for everyone to celebrate the next up and coming Festival.
Be it Halloween, Christmas, New Years or one of the many many others!

It's your choice how you celebrate here.
You can walk right in and order a few drinks, to get you into the spirit. Of course all drinks will be on the house!
If you'd like to help out you can organise and maintain competitions.
Or you can head over to the competitions and celebrate with creativity!

Interested in helping out?

As you can probably imagine, Festivals needs a lot of people to keep it in tip top form - so that as many up and coming festivals are listed. So if you are interested in doing some odd art - creating festival pages - organising events - or just serving the chilled beverages - then leave a message here and let us know. - Festivals Staff

2004-09-17 [Flutterbi]: neat-o I love festival!

2004-10-04 [metallickittycat]: still not christmas yet....oh well, *shruggs*

2008-01-01 [nehirwen]: the official competitions wikis, is that actually made for this festival wiki? if it is, there is no link back to the festival wiki, only to the competitions wiki.. (maybe festivals should be added beneath: go or return to: )

2008-01-01 [Sunrose]: This project is still in progress, but it's good you pay attention :)

In this case these competitions were not created for this wiki, because they already existed. But I added a link to those main pages now.
New competitions will especially be created for this wiki though :)
And we're looking for people who can help out!

Edit:
A first contest that we could start with is St. Patrick's Day.
March 17th is the celebration day, so that should give enough time to get it organised! :)

2008-01-01 [Atayemi]: Aw I really like this idea, it's nice for all of the other members because they can enjoy their celebrations wihout feeling too.. lonely? xD
I'm definitely interested in lending a hand, and St. Patrick's Day is close to my birthday, whee! (Plus I love Ireland :3)

2008-01-01 [Sunrose]: [nehirwen] started St. Patrick's Day Festival. She'll do the artistic decorations (banner etc), if you'd like to help with the content and such please take a look! :D

2008-01-01 [Atayemi]: I will do, thanks, Sunny. :P

2008-01-01 [nehirwen]: how should we judge the (unofficial) competitions?

2008-01-01 [Sunrose]: Suggestions? :P

2008-01-01 [Atayemi]: Public poll, owners favourite? P:

2008-01-01 [Sunrose]: Probably public poll then, as long as people don't rally votes..

2008-01-01 [Atayemi]: *nods* Sounds good!

2008-01-01 [nehirwen]: will the public poll be on mainstreet, or just in the contest page?

2008-01-01 [Sunrose]: Good question, we could also put the poll of a contest on this page (Festivals)..

2008-01-05 [Lin-tastic]: I would be willing to put in time and effort to support this lovely page...if you're willing to have me, of course.

2008-01-05 [Lin-tastic]: Would New Years Day Festival be acceptable?
