2009-04-16 [nehirwen]: It's looking good!
I'm not familiar with the hillbillies festival, so could tell me what typical 'hillbillie' is, so I can make matching graphics for this festival? :)

2009-04-16 [Lothuriel]: A hillbilly is basically a country person....deep country person. It's what northerners called us back in the turn of the century. You can see more here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillbilly

The festival revolves around good country food, quilts making, crafting, woodworks, and clunker cars. It's all for a good caue though. An organization called The Shriners (Masons) host it to raise money for the Shriner's Childrens Hospital http://www.shrinershq.org/

2009-04-16 [nehirwen]: Alrighty, I have ideas now for banners/dividers/mood thingy. :)
What would you like to have as badge?

2009-04-16 [Lothuriel]: Will the moonshine jugs I made be ok? If you don't like them, you are welcome to come up with something else.

2009-04-16 [nehirwen]: Sure, that's fine, I like them! ^^
You might want to add 'poetry winner' etc on them though, like the other festival badges? :)

2009-04-16 [Lothuriel]: Oh, ok I forgot about that. I will do that tonight.

2009-04-16 [nehirwen]: I'll take care of the rest asap. :)

2009-04-16 [Lothuriel]: Okie dokie! You can fix the awards too if you like. I won't complain, lol

2009-07-05 [nehirwen]: I hope you like the graphics. :)
Only some entry pages to build and this contest is ready to be opened! :D

2009-07-05 [nehirwen]: D. Deadline: The deadline is set on June 25, 2010 for the art, poem and description contest
and June 25, 2010 for the photo contest.

Did you mean to have a description contest as well? (rule e doesn't mention it)
And the date for the photo contest is the same as the rest, is that correct?

2009-07-06 [Lothuriel]: I honestly can't remember...

2009-07-06 [nehirwen]: x)
(I always make the deadline 14 days before the festival is, so you can announce winners on the day(s) the festival is at, and 7 days after the festival day the photo deadline)

2009-07-06 [Lothuriel]: Well the festival comes only once per year in April and lasts only 4 days...so, do we wait until next year or go ahead with it now?

2009-07-06 [nehirwen]: The festivals are open all year, I've just opened one that has it's deadline in June. :p
It's best to have this deadline in 2010 as well.
