Greetings, and welcome to Elftown's official Orc Poetry Contest!

Rules:

1. POEMS MUST BE WRITTEN BY ELFTOWNERS AND POSTED HERE BY THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR.
Which means, no matter how much you might like a particular poem on somebody's house, you are not allowed to add it here without the writer's permission. Poems also must be written in English. Limit is 2 entries per person.

2. LENGTH:
Since the chosen two poems will be featured on Main Street, we wouldn't like them to be too long. Anywhere from 3-30 lines is acceptable. Be creative but please keep that in mind!

3. SUBJECT MATTER:
Submissions for poems will not be accepted when they are overly graphic or contain child porn type stuff.

Theme:
The theme of this poetry contest is: ORCS.
The poems must be about orcs or in orcish style!

How to post your poem:
Add the poem after the last one that has been already posted. Don't forget to write its title and author ("Written by...").

Deadline: June 20th

Note:
Two poems will be picked out by the Council among all those presented. Participants will receive green worm badges, and winners will receive a coloured version of the same.

2006-04-27 [Linderel]: Typo. Up there *points* it should read "writer's." And somehow my brain wants to add "written" in between the words "be" and "about." :P
