2008-03-13 [Hendercrazy]: The new Spazznik spot art is now up! :) Hopefully folks won't miss the link to the Spazznik archive. ;) Unless they just don't read what Spazznik is saying... XD

2008-03-13 [Hendercrazy]: Well here's my dilemma with traditional vs. digital...while I enjoy coloring traditional and think it has a warmer, more personal feel (and would look a ton better if my scanner was ready to go); it's also more time consuming and currently costing me money for photocopies and those bloody markers for each comic I do. Not a good thing while my money situation is uber ultra tight.
Digitally speaking, it's much quicker to color, can look top notch professional and I could still give it a warm feel. I've already spent and arm and a leg on my art programs anyway... so I might as well use them, right?

2008-03-13 [Yncke]: @[Paul Doyle], concerning 2. I notice the other way round too. People coming from traditional painting who just continue applying their tradditional approach, while you can do so much more and differently digitally, and mimicking traditional effects, while digital is just another medium. Which brings me to 1: why wouldn't one be able to learn the fundamentals from digital? The principles are the same.

2008-03-13 [organicparadox]: i like to use the medium that best suits the art that i do. if i am doing fine art, one shot images..... i'll use anything from oils to toothpaste to goldleaf. if i am making art that is serial or sequential and is not intended as a graphic novel, i would use whatever medium will help me put out the most art, of the hoghest quality, in the shortest amount of time. its hard to quantify, but that's the way i look at it.

2008-03-13 [Stratakus]: Tooth... paste?

2008-03-13 [organicparadox]: anything with pigment is fair game as far as i'm concerned:) i did a mural for a club once with toothpaste and tide with bleach liquid detergent. wasn't a permanent installation, so anything that washed off the walls was ok with the owner. tide glows pretty good under a blacklight

2008-03-13 [Dark Side of the Moon]: Old makeup is good for soft dreamy artwork! Use eyeshadow and blush. Works great. No lipstick, liquid foundation, eyeliner, etc. I think it may crack over time.

2008-03-13 [Stratakus]: Make more comics. do it or face my wrath. I have wrath to frighten the whole Greek Pantheon. Now hop to it. Chop Chop.

2008-03-14 [Hedda]: I took these photos tonight:

And don't you think that
<img:http://www.linkmeet.com/stuff/z/1/vg37/p1010019.jpg?r=l&x=300> looks just like Spazznik!

2008-03-14 [Stratakus]: Imagine if someday people actually officially cosplayed as Spazznik!?

2008-03-14 [Hendercrazy]: I laughed so hard at that pic!!! XD That's awesomely funny! :P You know... that might make for a great Spazznik contest! :D Maybe whoever designs the best Spazznik costume posing as Spazznik will win some signed Spazznik swag or something. Not sure if anyone would interested in such a thing. The winner would also have to be permanently displayed right here on the Spazznik page too! :P

2008-03-14 [Hendercrazy]: Oh, and never fear Stratakus... I'm working on the next strip now. :)

2008-03-14 [organicparadox]: hedda, the pic is priceless man. all that was missing was the broom handle in lieu of a spear:)

looking forward to your next strip hender. be nice to see you do an expose' on your creative process too if you ever get bored. show how you go about doing what you do and your methods.

2008-03-14 [nathie]: hahaha! that´s priceless! :) a real life spazznik! i just love it if fictional characters become real!

2008-03-14 [Paul Doyle]: Wow, he looks like the second coming of Don Knotts.

2008-03-15 [Hendercrazy]: OP: Are you sure you really want to see how I slap these together? O_o XD

Paul: He looks more sure of himself in that pic than Don Knotts. :P

2008-03-15 [Paul Doyle]: <img400*0:http://www.geocities.com/alcus2/don_knotts__.jpg>

There are some eerie resemblances, though.

2008-03-15 [Hendercrazy]: Here we go... Creating_The_Spazznik_Comic

2008-03-21 [Hendercrazy]: It's been a bit quiet here on the Spazznik front as I've been really busy preparing for my trip to Belgium to see my girlfriend [Nocturnaliss] as well as prepping my house for my house sitter and our return visit. However, I'm still looking to finish the fifth comic before I leave April 6th. I will be returning at the end of April. :)

2008-03-21 [organicparadox]: enjoy a well-deserved break, spazz and us will be here when ya get back:)

2008-03-21 [Hendercrazy]: A big thanks to all who've voted in the current Spazznik poll. :D Now that I've had a chance to review the poll results in both this wiki and in my ET House... it seems that most folks overall have enjoyed the start of this comic. So, once I return from my vacation... I'm planning to make additional time for the Spazznik comic. :) This should allow me to make these on a more regular basis. :D
