The Lower City Shah Hath

The Shah hath is one of the least populated and most organized places in the lower city. It is here that the Shah have carved a little version of their old empire. The Shah hath is slightly elevated and only Shah, specially those considered purebloods, are allowed to take residence here. Since Shah is the only state in the world that is independent from Daguerre, they are allowed to even have an embassy and even some Imperial Guards which patrol the streets of the Shah hath, imposing a sort of order than does not exist elsewhere in the lower city. The true authority of the Hath, however, is the Shadow-swords, identifiable by their black clothes and a single black Dao blade at their belt. From the supplicant's road, the main street is the Shilao, a long and winding cobblestone road surrounded by smaller streets with typical, small Shah houses on the sides, it is mostly residential and from it, all other major roads of the Hath branch out. The Shunlao is the most famous, the road of secrets where the highest and most important Shah live, and the center of the Shadowsword organization. The Longlao is where one can find official buildings, the few financial institutions in the lower City can be found, it is the home of the Shah Embassy as well, though the Shah ambassador himself lives in the upper city. Finally the Xialao is a merchant's road, where one can find specialty items brought specifically across the Grall sea for the Shah highborn and connects to the Mage Market.
