Lin here. G'day. Today's exhibition will focus on me and what I'm doing here on Elftown.
I came here some three years ago, and while I don't remember much of my early days as an Elftownian, I can definitely say something about now. I'm hooked. Completely, irreversibly, utterly hooked. Nowadays I find myself with a little bit more responsibilities than when I was a freshbie, what with having sold my soul and been recruited in the crew, but that's actually part of the fun. Not to mention that many of the people here are simply awesome. Talented artists and writers lurk behind every other corner, and often they have wonderful personalities, too! What more could you ask of a community...

Me, I'm an artist of sorts myself. I scribble stuff that can be called poetry and short stories, and of course I want to be a novelist someday. Time will show whether that will only be a dream.
Apart from abusing the keyboard and the pen, I also do some drawing and painting. I'm not very good at it, mind (although differing opinions have been voiced), but I like it, so why not? Photography is another hobby that I've taken an interest in lately, and I occasionally go camera-happy at a beautiful sunset or other similarly breathtaking subject. I've been known to participate in photo contests on here.
Yet another creative hobby is bookbinding. It's fun and incredibly rewarding, even though also infuriating and frustrating and... argh... I mean, the process can be pretty headache-inducing, what with the thread tangling all the time and trying to get the papers stay straight, but when I'm looking at the finished piece I can feel a deep satisfaction and be proud of a job well done. Not to mention that when I'm making the covers, they always are subjected to artistic experiments. Fun, I tell you. Very much so.

Other hobbies include reading, listening to music, singing, baking, and collecting stuff. I'm interested in practically everything, and have an endless thirst for knowledge. I hoard history books and dictionaries.
I've been called brainy by some people, even intelligent. If you asked me, I would tell you I'm pretty stupid, but that's my underdeveloped self-esteem talking. Shhh. Don't listen to it.
I do have a very leaky memory, though, and for that I am quite miffed. So, if you're wondering why I'm asking you where you lived again, even though it has come up in conversation like a million times, it's because it slipped my mind. Things tend to do so with me. Then again, I remember some completely pointless things, like numbers I have no need for or what my friend's and my order at McDonald's four years ago was and how much it cost. Go figure.

I guess I'm overall a pretty nice person, even though I do have my faults. Why don't you find out for yourself, though?
