There is only one rule in my house. It's the same rule that goes for the rest of this town - don't be an asshole.
One of the first things you should know about me is that I'm special. Not because of any exceptional beauty, intellect, talent, or wit, but because I have friends who care for and love me. Probably more than I could ever deserve by any merit of my own - although the aforementioned qualities have, in some measure, been bestowed upon me. Make no mistake, I could use some improvements, but I'm not a completely hopeless case.
Being equipped with a slight inferiority complex and a mind susceptible to neuroses, I might not be the easiest of people to be around. Apparently, however, I have enough innate charm to make up for this, rendering me funny and interesting for a person who would take the effort to see beyond the timid, moody exterior. I'm painfully shy, which more often than not leads to awkwardness and even locking up in social situations. This may make me seem rude or aloof, but for the most part, I'm really neither of those things - merely socially challenged. I also carry a lot of pent-up frustration, even anger and bitterness, around, and have a tendency to stress about things even when there is no need to, which in turn leads to an explosive temper and bad moods. It is generally impossible for me to be mad for very long, though, however insulted I may come off as. I'm only sharing this in case I happen to snap at you during one of my irritable days.
After that look into my personality it is perhaps time to move on to the things I enjoy occupying myself with. Due to an occasionally frighteningly wide curious streak, I am always eager to learn new things. So, unsurprisingly
, I have a habit of hoarding all kinds of books and having at least two or three tabs for Wikipedia open in my browser at nearly all times. Another dominating trait is a strive for perfection, especially with language - anyone who has had me nitpick their sayings and doings could tell you this. However, the only one I expect to become the Renaissance man is myself. Such a ridiculous, unreasonable desire, I know - but it's there. Please just humour me.
On the creative side, I'm willing to try most everything. The strengths I have found are photography and writing, though I'm not half bad in bookbinding, crafting jewellery, or baking. My skill in drawing is nothing spectacular, but I develop every time I bother to take on a project.
I have a great affinity for travelling. Even though I've only been to Edinburgh and the Netherlands - aside from the occasional day-long trips to Estonia and Sweden - I desire to see as much of Europe as possible, perhaps even Asia and the Americas. I'm drawn to historical places, and old buildings are just about the coolest things on Earth.
