[Cassave]

   Gerbrand is [Cassave], a 31 year olds guy (soon to be 32) who lives in Brabant, Flanders/Belgium. He's former cartoonist and now he's looking into illustrating children books. He uses coloured pencils, pen & ink, and a mixture of waterpaint, gouache and coloured inks. Besides loving drawing he enjoys archery, one of his hobbies: "archery is more about relaxing, breathing and listening to the wind, [...] it’s a form of meditation." [Cassave] enjoys photography, videogames, old movies (B-movies, bizarre horror movies, etc.) and silly cartoons.
   While looking for fantasy art and stories he found Elfwood, he joined it and then he also joined Elftown and got addicted ;-). And talking about fantasy, [Cassave] is one of those persons you can consider real fantasy lovers: "Normally I enjoy immersing myself in a fantasy world, but I’ve been working on fantasy stuff of my own."    Gerbrand has a very enchanting personality, he is a mixture of talent, fun and knowledge. I really enjoyed reading this interview by [Sunrose]. And for the cat lovers he has two special cats: Imogen and Lenni ^_^

Favorite Wiki: "Maybe it's pretentious to say that I like Elftown because it is pretenseless. I guess I kept and keep on frequenting it because ET is so accessible and comprehensible. And because of that simplicity, it is self-renewing."

Favorite House: "I’ll just list them alphabetically, if it’s all the same. [LvSha]’s house is really a house somehow and she’s a very versatile artist. I watch [deeterhi]’s house, because she’s a great comic artist. [hannes], a great photographer. And of course [travs the bean] because he’s a great artist.
And then there a lot more equally interesting houses that I watch, but listing them all would be a tad long…"

Critique/comments/suggestions on ET: "Well, we all have to admire [Hedda]…and just all the people that take the time and the imagination to make Elftown what it is."
