Description:
The name's Azrius. Or Vagabond. Or That loud maniac. I'll respond to any of the three.

There's not a great deal to say. I am peculiarly random and sarcastic, in addition to being moderately insane. I'm fairly certain of my own existence, but for all I know I could simply be someone's paranoid delusion which hasnt quite developed self-awareness. I'm not quite certain why you're reading this. But clearly, you've taken something of an interest in me, so I shall indulge you.

I am naturally drawn to eccentricity. I like to think this is because I have my fair share of the trait, myself. If you're a strange person, with an unusual personality quirk, I am far more likely to contact you, or speak back to you if you contact me. Being slightly off kilter makes the world more interesting, you see. Sanity is salt to the sugar of madness- you tell me which one taste better in your tea.

Hobbies/Interests

Above all, I am a creative writer. As such, it's not unusual to see me curled up in a corner with a notebook at three in the morning, scribbling madly away. Sometimes I'll laugh hysterically to myself while doing so, or start mumbling about nothing in particular. I assure you, this is entirely normal, and not a cause for any great concern. I am what you would term a 'nerd' through and through, but only in my interests- I hardly subscribe to any of the typical stereotypes, such as a lack of social graces or personal hygiene. Showers are nifty, more people should become acquainted with them.

As far as what style/genre I write, I don't have much focus. I'll compose whatever I feel like composing at any particular time. Depending on what I'm writing at a given moment, I'll look to numerous different sources for inspiration. This could be anyone from J.R.R Tolkien to Edgar Allen Poe to T.S. Eliott to Robert Harlowe and anything in between. It should probably go without saying that, much like my writing style, my choice of reading material is similarly eclectic.

I also tend to be of the mind that, if designed well enough, narratives in movies and video games can be just as poignant and enjoyable as something you would find in a good book. Video games in particular, are not given enough credit. I mean, sure, there's a lot of trashy games out there. But they shouldn't cause the good ones to be judged.

I am a gamer, through and through. I think it all started when my father bought me a Super Nintendo, at age 6. It all went downhill from there. I'll play pretty much anything except sports games. I am hilariously bad at racing games- just watch me try to play Mario Kart Wii with the wheel and you'll see what I mean.

I also have developed a minor compulsion regarding anime and manga. This is a fairly recent thing, one which I have my friend [Aconitum Amusement] to thank for. But I got her back for it, she's in my D&D campaign now. An obsession for an obsession, I suppose? Regardless, I've been watching it for some time now. I suppose the potential for this enjoyment has always been there, she simply unlocked it. Or rather, sent me further into the depths of madness.

I run a weekly Dungeons and Dragons game, set in my own campaign world of Delm. The narrative is epic. The characters taking part in it...not so much. To watch the two of them meet is infinitely amusing. Our party consists of a sex-crazed paladin, a perverted fat cat-elf who speaks broken common, two dragonblood pranksters, a chronologically dyslexic time-traveller, a very dismayed druid, and an ill-fated actor with about as much luck as a broken mirror underneath a step ladder with a black cat in front of it.

Closing Words

At this point, I shall vomit out random facts until I run out of things to say. I'm Canadian. I am addicted to pork buns. I'm a poor student approaching what may be the end of my time in school. I enjoy dumplings, but I don't want them on a regular basis. I have a Ball Python named Alice. I was personified as the Cheshire Cat by a friend of mine. I love tea. I like being cold. Classical music is underappreciated. There was many thing I can does.

Yes, I'm strange. You'd think that would be obvious by now.
