Apparently quite a few of you rather like badges, but aren't entirely sure how to earn them. So here's a quick run-down of the easiest badges to earn, for your pleasure and perusal:
- Entering any of the official
Competitions currently running will earn you a badge.
- If you nominate a wiki you made at
Wiki Nominations and it is then featured on Main Street, you'll get a badge.
- If your art is nominated by another Elftowner at
nominate a picture, and then featured on the featured art, you'll get a badge.
- If you submit some lovely, shiny graphics to
Elftown Graphics and they are approved, you'll earn a badge.
- If you
Suggest a Poll for use on Main Street, and it is then used, you'll earn a badge.
- If you donate some photos to
Reference Pictures, you'll earn a badge.
- If you write an arty tutorial for
Elftown Tutorials that shows others ETers how to do something cool, you'll earn a badge.
- If you submit some of your poetry to the
Daily Poem and it is then featured, you'll earn a badge.
- If you've written a short story, or have a completed chapter of a loooong story, you can nominate it at
Nominate a Story, and if it is featured on Main Street, you'll earn a badge.
- If a friend nominates you to be a
Featured Member, and you're featured on Main Street, you'll earn a badge.
- And of course, if you actually donate money to help keep Elftown running, you'll earn a badge.
So there you have it! We now thoroughly expect to be inundated with contest entries, wiki, art, member, and story nominations, and dozens of poems. And of course, lots and lots of money!
