1. Centaur Ode

Bold and beautiful, centaurs stand.
Bow and arrow, both in hand.
Their laugh, full of fury.
Their laugh, might turn gory.
Half man, half horse,
What a beautiful chorus.

Written by [Subject37]

2. Escape

Walk slowly, little centaur,
Dear,
Walk slowly, very slowly.

Trot carefully, my centaur,
Sweet,
Trot cautiously, be careful.

Gallop like the wind, my friend,
Run!
Run, as fast as you can!

Escape from open meadows,
and grassy lands and plains!
Escape from valleys,
deep and low,
and run for forests grand!

Yes, my dear old friend,
Now go,
and escape to other lands.

Written by [Yume Youki]

3. Centaur

You became a contradiction

The moment you were born

Progeny from the rape of a cloud

Yet a creature of formidable presence

Birthed: Part man, part horse

      Beautiful and untamed

You became an allegory

When you could not hold your wine

Despite your strength, your virility

An unfortunate combination

Typical: Man against the wild

      Cousin against cousin

Nevertheless, you held us captivated

Then and still now, what you represent

What we sometimes desire to be
