This was my very first attempt with "digital" art using the very basic graphics' program, MS Paint, and with a mouse. However, I still use a mouse to create my art digitally, but now I use other graphics' programs, mostly being Adobe Photoshop. I didn't begin using a computer even, until 2005-01-03 and very little of a serious nature, until March/April of 2005. When I think back to the newbie I was with a computer way back then and at what I know now how to do, I do consider it quite an accomplishment learned about using computers and digital art, has been mostly on my own, experimenting, trying this, that, and the other thing. As far as in regards to learning about pseudo html and html, the credit for learning this mostly, I must give to [Hedda], because he made it possible to view his work and learn how he does everything. I will always be thankful to him for this. For a finished look, I added the frame later before uploading the work to Elftown using Paint Shop Photo Album 5, then owned by Jasc. To this day I prefer my art to have a frame when it's finished. |
I entered this piece, "First Mousy Art", in the contest, I Made It In Paint, in 2006, hosted by [Seamus Schwathe], for which I was awarded this: ~~~~~~~~~~> Thank you, Seamus! |
